They are always attentive to what I am doing and and happy to tell me if there is a better or less expensive way to proceed. This review is about FedEx as a WHOLE. Every single time I…read morehave items shipped with fedex, these idiots screw up! These drivers get paid $20/hour and can't even read my address properly. They deliver my packages to the WRONG address EACH AND EVERY TIME! I'm pissed off because this happens EACH AND EVERY TIME a company uses fedex and they deliver to me! They ALWAYS deliver to the wrong address! The FedEx automated system is a piece of junk. They literally tell you, "if you do not receive your package by 8pm please give us a call in the morning" NO! I should NOT have to wait another whole day to receive my packages because your drivers are MORONS and don't know the difference between a 29 and a 9 on an address! When you finally get in touch with customer service and are able to speak with an actual person, they tell you that they can NOT call the drivers directly to tell them what the problem is. But they will "Investigate" the problem. They ask for your address, the color of your house, whether it's 1 or 2 stories, they ask for your phone number and email address. When you give them ALL that info they PROMISE they will call you, text you or email you back with the results of your misplaced packages. Again I should NOT have to wait an entire extra day to receive my packages! It should be taken care of the SAME DAY! FedEx needs to get with the program! FedEx NEEDS to be able to get in touch with their drivers ASAP in event of a problem! Not a day later. This is unacceptable! I have a few hundred dollars of goods SITTING in front of someone else's house right now! UNACCEPTABLE FEDEX!!!! My packages said it was delivered at 114pm exactly, I checked tracking and saw they were delivered around 230pm, called and actually got in touch with someone at fedex around 3pm. You people had MORE THAN ENOUGH TIME to correct this situation! You had FIVE HOURS to remedy this situation and get your ass BACK HERE to pick up my packages from another address and deliver them to the proper one. But you FAILED. Now because of you idiots, my packages will be sitting outside ALL DAY in front of my home tomorrow in the hot sun until someone comes home. You people better hope NOTHING is damaged! There was no apartment number on the shipping label after I had called on Sunday (the first time I called) to tell them my apartment number. Today there were a few people in line, but with the holidays that is to be expected. When I made it to the counter, Barbara was the Fedex employee helping me. She was very helpful and made the mailing process as pain free as possible. I did inquire as to when the package might me delivered to Florida. Barbara said probably within five days but that they would not leave a ground package at a closed location. I was shipping to an elementary school so I wanted to make sure it was delivered during school hours. Barbara assured me the package would be delivered when the school was open. With respect to times, I think I took longer taping this package up for shipment, than the waiting in line and finishing my transaction. Ordinarily I ship from a Fedex nearer my home, but the parking at the New Hyde Park location was a nightmare today. The Garden City location is more industrial and has plenty of parking.
