I called to put my mail on hold for pickup 8 days ago, I go to pick up my mail and put a change of address in and they said the request never went through even after the guy on the phone said it went through. We went to this location to have our passports processed. The lady who helped us (I wish I'd gotten her name) could not have been friendlier or more helpful. She was a gem! She made the process quick and easy. I would highly recommend this location for their passport services. read more

I work here in Vista and the mail service is horrible. Yesterday, 03/09/2020, we didn't even get mail. This is not the first time either. It's almost a habit now. Our "regular" carrier is whoever gets to split the route at that time. Usually it's Monney (Unknown if spelled right) and she is awesome, but when she's not here, it's a cluster F. Worst post office ever. Has a sign saying to ring the doorbell for service. I rang multiple times and stood there for 45 min with zero help. I can hear the works behind door talking and laughing but guess they are to lazy to answer the door. read more

Very hard to reach this PO on the phone. Here is a good number: 760-726-8064. My postal carrier is lazy and does a half a$$ job. Needed to check on a package after we moved and he didn't even fill out the delivery notice card completely, which made it very difficult to track my package. read more

This is the worse customer service I ever gotten for something I pay for I went in there to pick up a package and this lady didn't wanna help me she was very rude I even ask her you don't wanna help me huh!!! And she's like uugggg is just that we received so much shipments and I don't know where ir package is at I was like here is my address my name and what the package is and she was just walking back and forward doing nothing only complaining and flapping her arms up and down with an attitude I was like damn whatever well she didn't find my package even tho I told her showed her it was there so my package was returned to the sender reason why cause I moved from the shipping address that's why I went all the way there to pick it up this Hispanic lady not only was rude but she had an attitude problem I was looking at her badge name and she kept on walking back pretending to look for my package lol her name is Elvira something like that I barely understood what she was telling me but oh well I'm glad I moved from that zip code I hope I never have to return there where this people are rude and they ruined your day haha read more

Where to start...so many bad experiences with this post office which sadly serves all of the 92084 area (we deserve better than this excuse for a post office).1. don't bother calling the number they have listed they wont ever pick up. Give it a try real quick, if you don't believe me. 2. Post lady who serves my area, delivered a package of mine with $100 dollars worth of Christmas gifts to the wrong mailbox, and since it was delivered in the vicinity (next mail box), they did there job and would not be liable...wtf?... 3. it happened again two months later! Luckily This time, I was able to spot that they marked it as delivered to my mailbox, when it wasn't (shady...), and had to rush in to this post office, so they could send the carrier back and have her deliver it to my mail box, never had to do that before. 4. Had a package, (those thin bubble wrap ones) delivered empty.... Luckily this package was ordered through Amazon (guess they trust these guys to deliver some of their mail for them??), I contacted them directly, and they sent me my item again, no questions asked. I try to order most my items with Amazon Locker, now instead I have my items shipped to a drop off locker, and pick them up there, it's just better that way. 5. When the carrier, actually got one of my packages delivered to the right mailbox, mine! (I couldn't use Amazon for this one) she shoved it in so awkwardly that it pinned the hinge shut, and when I went to get my mail, my key broke...Went in to this Annex and again "not liable"... my it's my responsibility to hire a locksmith and pay for it myself yada, yada.... And if that wasn't enough, 6. The carrier keeps on "forgetting" to collect the mail stuck in my mailbox so I can at least have it available to pick up at this location. ALL THIS HAS HAPPENED IN THE SPAN OF ONE YEAR!! Moral of the story, maybe it's not the carrier's fault, thinking Seinfeld here.... (Mail Carriers are busy and the mail never stops) but if possible, avoid this place and the areas they serve, if you want piece of mind with your mail deliveries. Friendly staff . But they can't do their job right . I had a package go missing . I buy international items all the time. The one time ,I buy a item over $100 it automatically doesn't make it to my door . I was told that the mail man didn't find me home therefore it couldn't be delivered , because it required a signature .Which was a lie I was at home . He didn't even leave a note , nothing or knock my door . I call the local post office I waited for 1 hour to have no one answer me . So I took it to corporate office which I have filed a claim . Then an hour later the local post office calls me , Telling me I can get my item re deliver the next morning . So I agree to that . Problem solve right ? .. well my item didn't get delivered . So , I go track it again and it says my item is "unavailable " . I wonder how many other packages go "missing " .. and people don't fight for their package , so probably the employees keep it . read more

This location can't seem to figure out simple mail forwarding. Over a month ago I've changed my address online and requested the forwarding which cost me $1.00 no big deal. To this day I still do not get my mail on a consistent basis. There will be 3 days in a row where nothing comes in the mail at all. Priority mail 1-2 days delivery time was sent to me last Saturday and it's still not here today is Wed. A set of important keys and documents were mailed beginning of July and today is the July 12 and still do not have my mail. I call the listed phone number today 760-414-9710 a total of 21 times..NO ANSWER. I called the other Vista location at 760-726-8064 and immediately someone answered. Unfortunately they do not service my zip code and I could tell by the tone in her voice that she felt sorry for me for having to deal with this awful location. This is very very poor service by any government agency that WE PAY FOR. With so many better USPS locations it sucks that this particular location services only in my area. With all the issues this location has I hope there is an option to shut it down. You simply cannot deliver mail...that is just not acceptable. Wish I could give it zero stars :( read more

So today waiting for a tracked packet which should have arrived today. The mail arrived but my packet wasn't in the mail box with my other mail. Checked the tracking number online and it showed it was "out for delivery." I called this office and spoke to Jill who went above and beyond on a Saturday morning. She found my packet, called the other mail person on their route and they turned around and ensured that it got in my mail box. Thank you Jill! I desperately needed that packet before I traveled out of state and could not wait till Monday. read more

I continue to have multiple mail delivery issues. I receive some mail, and then for whatever reason, other mail gets returned to sender --- & the even more frustrating part is that I don't know what mail is being returned unless I hear from the sender themselves! I've already addressed this issue with USPS customer service and this local office directly twice before, and am just now hearing of more mail that was returned - & this is important mail! read more
