They get one star because there is no zero. To be fair, it isn't Upland, it is the USPS system. After not delivering my overnight express package, they were supposed to hold for pick up, but they didn't know where it was for two days. I went to the Upland post office and they gave me a print out and the internal phone number to the receiving PO, but they don't answer. The recipient spent 3 hours while his post office searched for it. FINALLY, after 3 days I got through to the post office after being on hold for 40 minutes 3 separate times before I hung up. They sent it back to me even though it was on hold. But it was never at the office where they thought it was. When I asked why they didn't know where it was for 3 days when it was tracked I was told, "that's not our definition of tracking." !!!??? You can track a pizza, for heaven's sake. Plus, the local offices NEVER answer their phones. EVER! I redialed and rang until it disconnected me 7 times in a row. I got up at 5 am to call as soon as their 800 number opens and got through. The package left the distribution center at 3 am. They aren't sending it back express and they said it might arrive in 2 or 3 days, but they really don't know. They are in no hurry. They refuse to refund my money. If you have an important package use one of the reliabe services, NEVER SHIP IMPORTANT PACKAGES WITH THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! read more

Went here early last year to get a passport. Everything went really quickly and pretty smoothly. Passport was delivered when they said it would be! The only problem was with my mom's passport. The lady who helped us that day said the type of ID she brought would be okay, but it turned out it was not so she had to go back to get it fixed. Not a huge deal, since we weren't leaving on our vacation for another month. But it still worried her that she wouldn't get it in time. Overall a quick process. read more

Tuesday the 10th of March, construction blocked one end of my street, the other end was wide open only a "closed to through traffic" sign. Today, friday the 13th we have still not recieved any mail. Excuse #! We dont have enough carriers, Excuse # 2 There were 10 trucks blocking the carrier from getting in (Nveer happened if he came in from the other end) Excuse #3 Carriers are not allowed to go "off route" to deliver. (detours nean no mail. Excuse # 4 It is too dangerous for the carrier.(Mothers waling kids to the park all day) Excuse #5 The carrier has the mail and is on the way (Never got here) Excuse this morning #6 the mail for your neighborhood is being sorted and will go out today. (3 pm, no mail and have been calling for 45 minutes straight. No one answers then hangs up.) Saw a lot of negative reviews for this location, so i didnt go in with a lot of good expectations. Turned out to be a positive one though! Dropped by this post office to help my mom renew her passport today on a friday around 1030am. We didnt need a post office worker to do our application in our case, but each worker seemed helpful and nice. One young female worker asked if we had any questions when i went to grab an application on the wall. Another worker let me borrow a stapler. Also when we went up to the counter to pay for our priority passport mail, the worker steve made sure we included 4 items along with our application: photo, check payment, passport, and signature/date on application. He gave us a receipt with tracking number and let us know when to expect our new passport. Just thought i would share a good review to reflect my personal experience. If youre curious, by 1030am on a friday, there was a list of about 8 or so names already on the passport office waiting list. 6 done and completed and 2 of the names werent crossed off yet and those people were waiting their turn in line. Wish i caught the hours for the passport office so i could share. I also believe they charge $15 for passport photos at this location. Tried scheduling a pick up fr a package on line and was unable. Called the pick up number and was told that I had to schedule the pick up through the local post office, I was given the number of the Arrow Hwy office. I called this number eight times and consistently they hung up on me in the ninth try some one picked up and hung up on me. I called the Washington DC Department of Postal Services and filed an official complaint on this post office-you see I am totally disabled. I have, in over forty years of life on this planet, and in this country, NEVER experienced any problem with the Postal Service, until I moved to the cultural Mecca known as Upland. I didn't know if you were aware of this, but depending on your carrier, and how they feel during the day, after a three joint lunch, but your address may or may not exist. I sincerely wish I could give this 'tard farm a negative rating, but I guess the 1 star is the only power I have. These people are freakin' IDIOTS. Let's break down a list of their "services" for me, just in the last calendar year: January - two important packages undelivered. reported as delivered, but not so. then, when complaint was made, we were told that our house didn't exist. We don't live on a farm. We live at the cross section of two major steets. One of these packages was from an attorney, as my wife's uncle had died. You only have a finite time to respond to a will, and the paperwork was returned to the attorney too late. Again, with a note that our HOUSE didn't exist. Between January and now, I have had SEVEN different incidences of utter stupidity and carelessness occur, only to be greeted with an empty headed "I'm sorry," at the local station. They are in two categories: On four separate occasions, digital tracking showed that I had items out for delivery, yet when the USPS dimwit showed up, at my door, with me in front of them "Oh, I don't think so." "Yes, tracking shows it" and then 10 minutes later, "Oh, I guess I didn't see it." Four separate times. Always having to chase the USPS carrier, risking harrasment, simply to get what was being sent to my VERY MUCH REAL HOME. And the other "magic" of this place - it's not just me being screwed, but one specific neighbor, who has an address NOT REMOTELY SIMILAR TO MINE UNLESS YOU ARE A BRAIN DEAD CHIMPANZEE. In addition to legal documents missent to my house that was qualified as nonexistent, I have, now, three times, delivered mail that was misdelivered to my house, to the rightful owner. Two out of three occasions were government pension checks, and the other was a large packet of papers from a mortgage company. Honestly, if I can make the time, I will be organizing a protest of this travesty of a government office, because, well, I guess I could get a PO Box, and pay more money for simple efficiency, EXCEPT I'VE BEEN IN LINE WHILE PEOPLE WITH POST OFFICE BOXES THERE ARE SCREAMING AT THEM ABOUT HOW AWFUL AND STUPID THEY ARE. Unfortunately, I haven't received my mail in a month, and the employees at the post office admitted to losing my packages twice. I called plenty of times for an update, and I do not get an answer. If you give your employees so incentive maybe they will care more about their jobs. It's blatantly obvious our mailman doesn't care, you can't just tell by the way he carries himself. If I could give this facility zero stars I would! Nobody ever answers their phone. Why do they have one? Seems stupid paying for a phone bill when obviously the people working there don't know what a phone is for. They are no better help in person either. They deserve NO STARS!!!! This is the closes UPS facility to work place, which is the only reason why I go here!!!! I can't remember names but there's only one man who is always nice, polite, helpful & courtesy to all customers!!!!! However the Asian women & black women are the most worst of all & should be in the pack note dealing with customers!!!!!! The Asian women (sorry can't remember her name) was so rude to an elderly man & was yelling at him I felt bad for him!!!!! He just didn't understand what she said!!!! I went up to her said you are a horrible employee & you should be ashamed, she just rolled her eyes!!!!! The black women (Also can't remember her name) Is always rude & looks to be angry!!!! She is always rude, never smiles, gives the customers horrible looks & yells at people!!! if your that upset or hate your job quit already!!! UGGHHH as for all the negative reviews they are true!!! Edna has amazing customer service , there's a Spanish woman who is very rude and lazy to have checked my package. I was pretty upset. She didn't even want help me out or check the back to see if my package was even visible. She didn't even check the numbers, she kept saying to call the main carrier. Which I did, their rep even told me those are the only 2 numbers provided for the package, so I had to come the next day and try again but this time I went with Edna , she was delighted to help me greeted me with a smile not an angry look like the lady gave me, she went out of her way to help me find my package and there it was sitting in the back just waiting to picked up. It was so simple. I really am happy to know that at least you have someone who is kind enough to help someone and give amazing customer service at the same time. I hope she reads this review. I am a resident of Upland and routinely get the wrong mail; mail from another residential address, and the other addressee gets my mail. This week I received the mail of two other residents on my street. Is there any way to rate negative because this post office is that horrible. To start with while you wait in line they basically force you to go to one of the stupid new automated machines. I came to speak with a person thank you, not a machine. And they wonder why their jobs are in jeopardy. The head guy (wish I knew his name) proceeds to squeeze the electronic item in my padded envelope to figure out what it is. If you want to know what it is just ask me!!!!!! He then tells me that if my item is fragile there conveyor belts will proceed to destroy my package. If you hate your job then find another one don't make other people miserable. This place is so slow, they never have enough people working. I have a p.o. box and when I have packages I have to wait in long lines to pick up when I expect to pick up my mail and leave. I waste half hour of my lunch break just at the Post office! Inexcusable! read more

Besides the usual long lines, I've never had a bad experience here. I sell stuff on eBay, so I'm here on an occasional basis. The workers don't fit the disgruntled postal worker stereotype and are always friendly. They have new convenient machines that make the process go by much faster, if you know what you're doing. read more

Horribly inconsistent. Mailing on Tuesday does not guarantee delivery less than twenty miles away before following Monday. It's best to pay for guaranteed service unfortunately - which is a waste of money. Note also that packages that require signature that get sent to post office are hard for them to locate after spending time in line awaiting....very frustrating. The self service machines are often broken.....on and on - worst post office I've ever been....and go way out of my way to avoid. read more

One star is one too many for the worst post office on the planet. Mail is delivered to wrong addresses, my mail is soaked in carrier's sweat, torn and mutilated. I have a file 3 inches thick of complaints about missing credit cards, bank statements and credit card statements more. They have not answered their phone in YEARS. The regular carrier is rude and sullen. Everywhere I go in this city I hear tales of how bad this Post Office is. Worst post office I've ever had the displeasure to have to rely on. Every so often I don't receive a package or mail. I know it ends up at someone else's mailbox because I routinely get mail that belonged to others. One day I even received a package that should have been dropped off a street over from my house. I was just waiting for a package that I never got (was refunded by sender). The personnel at this post office are by far the most incompetent, uncaring, rude, and lazy employees I have ever encountered anywhere at any time. Their only noticeable efforts are to avoid doing their jobs and to not help. I have received various neighbors' mail for years and my mail has been misdelivered to various neighbors, for years. Their office cannot be contacted by phone. I have complained online at the usps website to no avail. I have personally taken various neighbors' mail back to the office and complained, several times, to no avail. The misdeliveries continue. Today I was to receive a small, important, package (I had been tracking it online) and, sure enough, I watched the mail truck scoot right past my box, not stopping to deliver any mail. I ran outside and caught up with the carrier on the other side of the street, after he had rounded the end of our cul-de-sac. He then found my package and gave it to me, but not any other mail. I have to worry that maybe he delivered other of my mail to some other address! These folks are hopeless and dangerous; avoid them if you can. read more

Well unless my dogs grew wings and can fly over a 7 foot chain link fence with concrete flooring I can't see how it happened. This all started because we complained to the mail carrier.Our mail is constantly being delivered to our neighbors so many times its an embarrassment really!!!. Postman is a LIAR!!!! no police report filed, did not call the dog catcher nothing only his word against our dogs. Our mail was stopped with no notice to us whatsoever. They even started to return our mail as undeliverable. By the time we found out the damage was done. You would think the Postmaster would help resolve this think again!!! He did not want to even hear us out told us to leave even called the upland PD on us. These are government employees who lie to protect each other.
