They lost my package and did not return my call, they do not answer their phones. They always look like they dont care about your complains, I go in often and see other people give their complaints and same expressions. you tell them and they act really numb like as if it happens often and daily. This was the first time this happens to me and i only order stuff like every 3 months. My recomendation is to make sure you get insurance when you send anything! this place sucks. unfortunately I live in Upland and have to deal with their horrible service. I filled a claim and went in person ofcourse there was no one to talk to, i was given a number to call which rings and rings 909-946-8134 supervisors name is Norman and if you cant get a hold of him there try calling 18002758777 USPS. The Item i bought was online it was through a third party in Amazon and since that guy didnt get insurance that package was a noshow. Upland marked it as delivered 8 days ago and I have not gotten word as to "where they delivered the item". Basically I am screwed....Good luck I hope this review helped. read more

Easily the most consistently terrible Post Office in Southern California. Not only are they incompetent, they're also rude about it. Where does one begin? They replaced our lockbox without telling anyone in the entire neighborhood about it, and even worse they didn't have the keys available to give to the neighborhood for nearly a week. Then, when you go to pick up your mail (certified letter in my case), they have no idea where it is. Furthermore, every time I get a small package from Amazon, the mail courtier can't seem to figure out how to properly use the community package receptacle. I will routinely unlock the package box with the key they left for me to find an empty locked box! or the wrong key that unlocks a different package box/receptacle. And forget about calling them to alleviate a problem. If they bother to answer, the response is not a helpful one... three times now I've been told I'd get a callback within a few minutes, so far I've gotten zero callbacks. Upland is a great city to live in, but those that demand reliable mail delivery BEWARE! I'm sad to admit that Colton, the city I used to live in, provides a much more reliable postal service. Perhaps if we privatized the mail delivery system, these issues wouldn't exist... another reason why Uncle Sam has no business forcing his "services" on us. read more

Again, NO stars. Consistently loses my packages. Won't go to my door for packages needing signatures....they take it back to the office where I have to go pick them up. And then the postman LIES about not delivering a package...tells me he remembers delivering it. That means that he put a pink slip on my door w/o knocking. This is the closest usps to me. I've been here many times and have waited a while to give a review. Rebecca and Steven are amazing. I've been there needing help with my passport, international, regular letters, and a few other shipments. They have ALWAYS been nice, helpful, and go out of their way to make sure I'm shipping at the lowest cost possible. It is true most of the staff is rude and not very engaging. It creates a weird vibe when you walk in. But it's not so bad when I walk in and see Rebecca and Steven. This is the worst post office I've ever been to, with the worst customer service. I was a walk in to renew my passport.. I have never been here. And I was told to sign my name on a list. The list ended at 2:30pm ,however one of the clerks said to write my name on the back of the sheet for the next time slot. I arrived at 1pm. I was waiting for an hour until a new representative came in and asked who's on the list. We told her someone told us to write our name on the back, and she said she was sorry but the time ends at 2:30pm. So these idiots made us wait... She was so rude and wasn't even sorry that we had to wait. Especially when people have their kids with them. She didn't show any remorse whatsoever or even offered to put our name in for the next day . This was such a bad experience because our time was wasted when we could have went to another post office. This post office delivers my mail and the postal carrier for my address constantly crams my mail into my mailbox and delivers some of my neighbors mail to me and my mail to them. When I try to call the post office to file a complaint there is never anyone to answer the phone. I will make a trip to the post office to make sure my complaint is filed. read more

I have had issues with them for the 10 years I have lived in Upland. The tracking said they delivered a package to my house but I never received it (multiple times this has happened). I am trying to call them right now and after 2 minutes it just beeps out and hangs up on me. The day they "delivered" the package was also the day I received my neighbors mall instead of mine, not just one thing, their entire set. I checked with all my neighbors and they don't have my package. Possible it could have been stolen out of my mailbox I guess, but good luck to the person who ended up with my $25 custom address stamp I ordered off Etsy. read more

I've been bringing bulk mail here for the past 12 years. Recently after The Claremont POst Office began to be audited it made my deliveries later than usual to Upland. We pay them almost Priority Rate for our mailings & for the past several months they have been continually rude every time I drop them off. Complaining about the time they get there even though they know I'm getting there as early as possible. Ever since the audit they scatter like roaches when I come, constantly belly ache & ignore me. I hate writing negative reviews I've never seen reason to leave any before but I am so unbelievably annoyed that I feel it is deserved in this case. It's hard for me to find time to get down there since I work out of the area and they close before I'm able to go. All I needed was talk to them so I figured it would be quicker and more efficient to just call them instead of having to leave work. BIG MISTAKE! Why have a phone if you never plan on picking it up!? Don't get me wrong, I understand if it's busy it might be hard to do but I called numerous times and it just continuously rings and then disconnects you. Not even a directory or the ability to leave a message. At one point when I tried to call again they actually picked it up that time..to disconnect me. Had a similar experience to a previous poster. Two kids in tow, arrived there at 2:30PM, only to have the door literally shut in my face on Friday, because the lady who is handling passports wants to go home on Friday at 3PM on the nose. I told her that the website says 3pm, and it's still 2:30. She told me that she has other things to do before closing. THEN CHANGE YOUR HOURS. If this is in line with USPS service guidelines (strongly doubt it - more likely just a lazy employee), then change the hours you show as being available to process applications. You are working in a customer oriented position. You are providing a service which we are paying you for. If you don't like doing your job, get a different one. Just flat out mean. read more

This is about UPLAND POST OFFICE. I've been coming here for over 10 years! I have a POBox that's for my Business! Customer Service here is the worst. I've had so many problems receiving my mail. Prices have went up 33% and Service has went Down 50%. Every Monday mail is sent to me from Santa Ana Ca. and I don't get it Until Friday! I used to get the exact same mail on Tuesday's then it went to Wednesday's, Now I get it Friday's. This slows my Business down significantly! I asked management what was the problem? All they said was our systems has gotten slow. And to expect mail to be later, than sooner. It even took 3 days for a letter to get to me from Rancho Cucamonga Ca. to Upland. Very disappointing & unprofessional. I had ordered something online & I was given a tracking number through USPS. So I waited on the day it was supposed to be delivered & nothing. I checked the tracking number once at 2 pm & it said in transit, so around 5 pm I checked again & it said that a notice was left because no one was home. No one ever knocked or left a notice. I was upset because I was home waiting for this special package. So then I had to wait until Monday to call and complain because they were already closed! I call first thing Monday morning & the lady that answered said that my package was there at the office, I told her I wanted to file a complaint because no one came to my house & no notice was left. She said "oh I can just talk to them about it." I said that I wanted to file a formal complaint & she said "you can call the 1-800 number but they will direct you back to us, so I will just talk to them" That's BS!! They lied about even coming to my house! Very unprofessional and I will hopefully no longer have to deal with this post office again! FEDEX AND UPS ONLY! **UPDATE** ZERO STARS! The lady dropped & damaged my box for my business, arrived right at 2pm saying she couldn't lift the box and it's at the post office. We rush to the post office to try and get it (mind you it's a Saturday).. Then one of our employees calls us and tells us she actually had the package in her truck. Her personal truck! Really bad service. Came in on a Thursday morning right when they opened at 830a and one attendant only helping the line in the lobby. Line was all the way out the door. Due to out of control mail thefts, we can no longer use the mail boxes at our homes and must make a 30-minute round trip drive to the local post office to send any letters. You can't walk the mail to the letter carrier when they make their deliveries as they deliver somewhere within a four-hour window each afternoon! The Upland post office building has always been crowded, but it's significantly worse since some "rocket scientist" at the postal service decided to remove the drive through mail boxes. Instead of dealing with mail thieves and designing a mail box the crooks couldn't fish mail from, the USPS simply took the cowardly route and removed the outside mail boxes. Now you have to find a parking place in a small lot that always requires a minimum 5-minute wait for a space to open up, then go inside the building. The drop slots are poorly marked so patrons have a hard time knowing which of the three slots to use to send pre-stamped mail. The USPS is always looking for infusions of government cash, but unless they get their act together, it seems improbable they can improve and we may be destined for even more of a decline in "service" as time goes on... read more

While the post office staff is friendly, my delivery service to my home serviced by this post office is the worst possible. I commonly have to return others mail and have not received many bills, cards etc. Last week, they returned to sender wedding invitations saying there was nobody to receive them. They didn't leave a delivery receipt, they just sent them back to sender. I've made many complaints but they don't improve. They don't even usually return my calls. ANYWHERE BUT HERE FOR A PASSPORT!! Worst ever!!! I am a firm believer in supporting our community, but this Upland Post Office is by far the worst government agency that I have ever 'tried' to do business with.... worse than the DMV!! I have tried 3 days in a row to get my daughter her passport. Day one was my fault. I wasn't aware of the hours (9a-3p Mon-Fri). Day two, with three kids in tow, I'm there at 2:30 and it is closed. When I inquire, the clerk (while not even looking up at me) says "she closes early today"...WHAT??? That's not what the sign says. Of course, being a government employee, she couldn't care less about customer service or acting the slightest bit empathetic. Day three... I get there again well before 3pm, kids in tow. There is a man waiting, I take a number, another man waiting takes a number (who was apparently there before me but didn't take a number). The clerk comes out and informs me she can only has time to do two more passports that day because she has to close exactly at 3, and that the two men were there before me!!! I guess the U.S.P.S. thinks closing at three means you really only open and available until 2:45. In my world, when a sign reads that you are open til 3, that means you are taking customers until THREE!!! FURIOUS, I again left with my documents and no passport ordered.
