This review is about the service that we get here in my area. Since I keep emailing the post master and it doesn't seem to help. To us she is very rude. When we receive small packages she will shove them in our mailbox (even when they say fragile or pictures- do not bend). And this time I put our mail on hold and it wasn't put on hold. There is a rubber band around your mail and the closing letter. And the junk mail is usually not with the mail. None of this happened. NOT HAPPY!! read more

I'm not sure what the issue is, but packages mailed from this Post Office seem to be delayed in leaving the facility and tracking number information is never updated until packages arrive at another location. The tracking number issue is pretty consistent. read more

I have been using the mail hold service for years, and they have been good. This past year I have been getting mail in my box while I have my mail on holid. I contacted the post office the last time and they had someone go pick the mail up that was delivered, this time I couldn't get through to the post office and when I returned home I had mail in the box. This service is getting pretty bad, not sure if it's my new mail carrier or who ever puts the notes in for the mail hold. read more

I have restrained myself from writing a Negative Review regarding the eldest, counter clerk: "Manuel" because I don't like drama & figured Manuel must be very unhappy with his job. BUT today Manuel was Not only lacking his social & customer skills... he was just flat out rude. I used to be a contracted Postmaster for 3 years & I Never treated a customer with a condescending attitude or blatant sarcasm. As I was purchasing a Ready post box & a card, I politely asked: "If I do not assemble this box & if it's too small, may I immediately exchange & pay the difference for the next size up?" He said "NO". Now I understand he must follow policies, but it was his Tone, abruptness & Sarcasm that got to me. Then he sarcastically commented "Why don't you just get a Bigger box?". I logically didn't want to unnecessarily purchase & pay more for a spacious box, if there was wasted, excess room. Poor Manuel, apparently the ice in his veins, has frozen his personality (or lack of) & he obviously never learned courtesy or how to be tactful or diplomatic. The ideal job for him would be San Quinton. I will Never set foot in that PO ever again... I do not trust hateful / cold people To handle my mail. He needs to take lessons from his co-workers, who have always been professional & courteous. Manuel is going to cause a loss in revenue, because there are other Post offices to take our business to. read more

On a completely separate matter, I have been reading reviews posted about the Tulare CA post office. While I admittedly do not frequent this postal office, I would say that it is adequately run. That said these are government employees who are 'protected' by a powerful union organization. Barring extreme or illegal behavior, they are nowhere near being in fear of losing their jobs for doing anything but the absolute required to maintain employment. In my experience, the employees at this branch are courteous and helpful. It is true that there is often idle chatter going on while customers wait in line, which can be frustrating. Also, I've personally heard inappropriate conversation and razzing among employees within customer hearing. This seemed to be tolerated by even the person who appeared to be a superior. As a professional, I do consider this totally unacceptable. My transactions are, for the most part, simple and straight forward. Thus, I have not had 'problems' with these folks. I do believe that if one goes in prepared things go fairly smoothly. Supplies are [mostly] available for access and purchase and informational notifications are clearly posted and legible. I do not use the post boxes however the lobby has appeared clean and uncluttered during my visits. Thank you read more

This is how the US post office mail carriers treat my neighborhood. Coincidentally I also had a package that was supposed to be delivered and I've had mail in the wrong box non stop. Sometimes it's very important things like my check or even medical information. I suggest you all get better trained mail carriers before you end up with a law suit. It's such a huge inconvenience and I'm not sure how complicated of a job it is but whomever you have delivering mail near pleasant school does not know how to do their job. I'll be waiting at the mail box today to personally deliver the message. read more

The post office was nice and clean, but the turtle-slow service definitely needs to improve. That's not even the worst part. They actually lost my package when I went there to retrieve it after receiving a notice that I had missed a delivery! Mailed a package their on 4-25-18 and the package just disappeared from tracking after they received it. I contacted USPS about this and they reported the package was lost. All they said was we were sorry. I am out 500.00 because I did not insure it. I have mailed over 200 if the same items in the past and never had any problems. I will never use USPS in Tulare again. I have important mail coming in, as I get home I don't receive any mail my Informed delivery email says I'm expecting. This is bullshit.

Never had any problems here. The service is always pretty fast when I come in. Plenty of P.O boxes. Customer service is very friendly. Parking is in the back as well if you can't find parking in the front. read more
