After the last USPS I went to, this one had not one employee with a good attitude but 2-3 of them! Crazy I did the same exact process that I did at the previous USPS on Oracle and wasn't met with a defensive employee who aggressively refused to package anything for me when I didn't even ask them too? The 1st worker at this location effortlessly walked me through the proper envelope I needed which was decided after she scanned my QR code. Her system was down for purchases(she charismatically explained she took a week off and now the system won't recognize her login) so she got the label ready for me and the next worker(Conner) continued my purchase again, effortlessly. They had a down system and I got better service here and was in and out quicker than the oracle location. Lol the lady packed the package for me to without me asking, wish I got her name but receipt said clerk 22, she rocks. That said everyone should be doing their best to come in the post office somewhat prepared, don't rely on the workers to do it all! read more

The staff there at this particular location took almost 3 weeks just for me to obtain my mail keys and still have not been able to remove the "Hold mail" request that should have already been removed whenever I had received my mail keys from this establishment. read more

As a business owner, I appreciate when someone goes out of their way to help someone. Kudos to one of the Silverbell location supervisors, Javier. I had an issue with about 50 of my packages being scanned as delivered rather than "received", which opens up a lot of frustration and anxiety for customers following their tracking. Javier listened to my concern and went out of his way at closing time on Friday to help me. He even called me on Saturday to give me the status. My key complaints: 1) Sometime last year, access to my post office box was limited from 6 am - 6 pm M-F, and 6 am - 3 pm on Saturday. Other local stations have hours from Mon-Fri 12:01 am-11:59 pm. Sat 12:01 am-11:59 pm. The reason given was vandalism. I saw no signs of vandalism (e.g., spray paint) per se. But homeless persons used the lobby as a safe space to sleep, left food and trash, etc. Yet, I still have to pay full fee for my PO Box. 2) Lack of clerks (sometimes just one person), long lines compared to other USPS locations in Tucson (excepting Sun Station near the university), and snail's pace service. If you are one clerk with a line, you shouldn't be visiting with patrons. 3) Amazon deliveries are jammed into my PO Box instead of placed in a storage locker. For larger items, Amazon will send a notice that the package has been delivered but over the last month, they are never there. Which leads to number 4) I get nothing but excuses. There is one clerk that is so rude! He goes out of his way to be unhelpful. I asked about my delivered packages and he said he needed a tracking number. When I showed him the number Amazon provided he said he needed a 22-digit number that starts with the number 9. Other clerks have just asked me for my PO Box number and ID. Not that guy. If I had a PO Box in the Foothills (which serves more affluent patrons) this would never happen. read more

Have packages that always never deliver because they don't have a secure location but the mailbox is always empty. So frustrating that the mail carrier is too lazy to come and deliver to the mailbox. I am at the third package that should have delivered on a Thursday rescheduled to deliver Saturday and that they didn't want to deliver so they marked it no secure location. Lobby not open when times posted inside glass entry door says it will be open. Lobby times on website still not updated after 1.5 YEARS! Open 24/7!!! (no.) Some clerks helpful, attentive and personable- others...slo mo, don't seem to care. Angry, hollering customers waiting in line and/or not being helped seems common. doesn't seem to matter to the slo mo's. Line goes out the door, one maybe two employees might be working counter. What a great post office! Everyone here was cheerful and chatty with all the customers entering and waiting. The line moved quickly and I doubt I was there even 5 minutes. I was, yet again, mailing dirty clothes home from my trip to Arizona. I almost always bring 'some' packing supplies, but need to pick up a Priority box. Got everything in that medium flat rate box. The postal clerk helping me was funny and made this a good experience. You could tell this team actually enjoys working for the usps. Other post offices could learn from them! read more

Won't allow my husband to pick up packages that I sign for, won't answer their phone, never leave packages where they are supposed to, it's impossible to speak with them and when you go inside they always have an attitude like they are grown and you are a child. USPS is really suck! Lost package, unhelpful customer service... how this company alive until now?

I'm very disappointed in the service of the Silverbell location of the post office. Since the Pandemic, our gated community has opted to not accept packages in the management office. Rather, they allow access to have packages to be dropped off on the tenants patios. There would be no contact and it would be safe. All carriers are fine with this except the post office. They absolutely refuse to do this. I have issues in the past 3 weeks with them to redeliver 3 packages of mine. I submitted the redelivery instructions online and posted the notices with special instructions. They have ignored this. I got an email back from the manager from the Silverbell office and I didn't like his attitude. I contacted our management office and they told me that they have had problems too and when they contacted the post office to complain, they brushed them off. I have sent as much notification as possible about this problem. While I understand the challenges that this Pandemic has caused, there such be no reason to have a bad attitude when delivering mail. We should work together in this time of crisis. read more

Absolutely horrible customers service. They NEVER answer their phone and rarely remember to pick up our mail. Hence the reason for my calls. We give a lot of business to USPS and it is very sad that their customers do not come first. Always a long wait out the door and some of the staff seem rather annoyed to help. My packages don't make it to my house half the time. They leave a note saying I wasn't home while I sit in the living room, the manager is helpful and nice but nothing gets changed for long term. Every time I go to this post office the staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with any help I need with choosing the best option to ship my items. Sherri is the sweetest and explains everything so well and makes sure you understand, Kitty came out from behind the counter to help me choose the correct box for what I was looking for and took the time to hear what I needed which was awesome! Silverbell post office I Would give you zero stars here's why: I have had quite a bit of issues with this post office telling me inaccurate things both when I'm there in person and to people who have had to help pick up my packages. They've sent back a very expensive package to sender because they said I didn't pickup in time. They sent it back they say I tried to pick up and they would not put a hold on it to prevent it's delivery return to the sender. Another time they said they were holding my mail for a month and then when I went to get it said they sent it all back to the senders. They told me I'd have to call my banks and basically everyone because return to sender mail initiates a process by which then the sender thinks they don't have a correct address on file for you. I was aghast...I asked the woman to please check again and she gave me the same Run around. Thank God I went back a few days later before all those calls and I asked a different attendant who managed to find every bit of my mail for that month! I'm like Seriously?! It's a chaotic mess in there and it seems like no one really knows what they're doing or the proper rules. They have given my friends helping a very hard time too. Once I myself went to pickup a package they left a slip for and they only gave me one of the two of my packages in their possession. Then they wanted to keep the pickup card which was for the 2nd package actually, the one they didn't give me. Good thing I requested to keep it because I went home a looked up the tracking numbers and it said it was at the post office and to arrange a delivery. Well they don't deliver heavy packages over 25 lbs or something like that they told me so I had to go back and get the second package, which was the one linked to the pick up card they tried to take. I mean straight negligence. We've always had to take it up with a supervisor and I was very close to filing an online complaint which can definitely be done in this case. I'm sorry they are so difficult! If you're not getting a reasonable answer I recommend talking to the supervisor's supervisor. read more

This is the most frustrating company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. This is now the fourth time you have deemed a package of mine to be undeliverable because the property is vacant. IT IS NOT VACANT. A while back I was to fix a friend's 73 Honda street motorcycle. I ordered the part that I needed and it never arrived at my address. So I went to the PO to complain. I have them my phone number after they said they would investigate. They never called and I never received the part that I paid for. Needless to say the job that I was going to make about $75 from never took place. Thanks to the federal government. I try to work and pay taxes but you guys keep fucking that up for me. Sure... they sometimes put other people's mail in our mail box and they're not open on Saturday's. But this PO is super close to our house which makes it convenient and I usually find that the lines move pretty quickly. The customer service here varies for sure but I have seen this place have a line out the door. They could have a dedicated line for small items that are ready to go to expedite things. read more

I come to this location frequently because it is very close to my home and I ship packages often due to my Etsy store. I hate going to the post office as much as anyone else, and this location tends to get busy during normal busy times, but if you come at a slightly off time (mid-morning, mid-afternoon) then there is usually no line. I have found the staff at this USPS to be incredibly friendly and helpful, and even during busy times I don't feel rushed asking questions. TIP: Unlike UPS or FedEx stores, you will need to bring your own packaging tape/supplies unless you want to buy them from the USPS. read more

The station is a hit or miss...Some days they is no line and the employees are super nice and very helpful and other days the line is out the door and you can tell that the employees feel overwhelmed. Due to location, I've faced numerous return trips to this PO. It seems to have gotten better. Lines can still be annoyingly long at times you would least expect, but service is getting better. I still wish they would put in an automated machine for stamping small parcels or large envelopes by weight. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. Very descriptive of where to leave a package and it either gets lost or they put a redeliver note in my box. I've called, emailed, and filled out a descriptive redeliver option. I'm not sure who is writing the chicken scratch on the notes but it can not be deciphered. Also, why only have open hours when the majority of the people are at work. USPS is a failing money pit that should be eliminated and it should start with this obtuse branch. read more

So stuck my head in the door & a p.o.person was patiently waiting for a guy to fiddle with his wallet-I said -"quick question - 1 or 2 mail pickups? I got an ans.& mentioned the inside sign & drive-thru one don't have the same info-her ans. kinda surprised me...it was she didn't have anything to do with that part of the operation. This is the closest post office to me but EVERY TIME I come here the employees have such nasty attitudes. I understand they get some rude people here sometimes so I try to be really nice to them because of that. But every time I come here it's always been an issue with at least one of the employees. I went in to mail a letter out, nothing too crazy. I pay for the envelope, write the address to where I'm sending it and got back in line. I waited until it was my turn and upon waiting I noticed that the letter was super see-through and I was sending out private information. I could literally see what I had written on said document and was worried of someone being able to look into it. So once I got to the employee I told her "hey this is very see through is there any way you could put something on the back to cover it?" To which she proceeds to say "yeah, I can put tape on it" in my head I was like cool they probably have tape that would have words on it or even brown tape to cover it up. Nope. She proceeds to put CLEAR tape on top of the seal and I told her that that wasn't going to cover my private information. To which she said "well you told me to put tape on it" like are you serious?? I know your arms broken I didn't know your head was too? I told her "well are you going to give me another envelope?" She said "well you can open it and fix it" like how am I supposed to open the envelope with the sticky stuff already sealed without ripping it?? Obviously I would need another envelope and I know damn well they weren't going to give me one for free so I looked dumbfounded at her and left. WORST POST OFFICE IN TUCSON. read more

I have been waiting for days for a package to be delivered. I requested tracking status, but have not received an update since 5 Dec. I received notice that a delivery was attempted but the location was not secure. I rescheduled and had my gate unlocked from 5:30am. Late in the afternoon the mail truck drove by but the package was still not delivered. I have called the Silverbell P.O. day after day, several times a day, I let the phone ring 25 times and they never answer. I wonder if anyone is alive at the office. I assume they are getting paid to do their job so it would be nice if they actually do it. read more

Purchased a $50 shirt in December of last year tracking said it was delivered but I never got it. Called the office and first person said she would check into it and call me back but I never got a call. Called back a few days later second person checked and told me I was basically out of luck.
