This office is abysmal. While the clerk was nice, there was no sense of urgency during lunch hour and stopped to make a phone call for a UPS customer right before me. What should have been a 5-10 minute stop turned into 20 and I had to walk out in order to make a medical appointment. I live on base, half the time my mail doesn't make it to my home within 1-2 days of it showing up in my Informed Delivery emails, then it all shows up at once inside a rubber band. Zero stars...don't recommend if you are looking for competency. read more

This is the closest USPS station to me and I will never be going back because of how Steven treated me and his coworker. I have been mailing packages here for about a month for my online business. I do the same thing every time, I upgrade my customers' shipping to non-machinable when I get there. It's never been a problem for at least 20 times until today with Steven. He said they can't do that, and I explained that I always do it and it's never a problem. He then replied that it must be because "No one can do their freaking job." He continued to be rude to me and condescending to his co-worker, Ray, even telling him he might want him to kiss his A** later. This was in the main area in front of a line of customers. Absolutely unbelievable to witness that behavior out of a grown adult who says he's been at that station longer than anyone. read more

Some Christmas cards got returned to me because I put return address on the back and the machine read that as the address to send it to. Came into the post office and they were able to help me resend the cards at no additional cost. So appreciated the superb customer service at a very busy time of year. read more

This busy post office is tucked back in a ways and is kind of hard to see, but I've had good service everytime I go. Usually there's not a huge wait, unless it's around Christmas package mailing time. They seem efficient and polite every time I've interacted with them. read more

This post office is a little tricky to find, and they're often busy since they serve a large area. I arrived to find a pretty long line at 2p on a Saturday, but it's the holidays. To their credit, there were 4 people working the counter. Each customer received an apology for the wait, and the service was friendly. Prices are good too compared to UPS and FedEx. read more

The worst customer service I've ever received, and that's saying something. The cashier acted as if the entire thing were beneath him, and never even verbally acknowledged I was even there, outside of a barely mumbled and barely audible thanks at the end. Awful. read more

All of the counter people at the Fort Lowell PO have been efficient, helpful, and always courteous when I have a transaction there, and I have quite a few due to my eBay business. For more than 8 years they have been great to work with and I've never completed a transaction without getting a genuine smile. read more

Busy us post office on grant road , east of wilmot ( east of Costco , prep & pastry ) south side . Entrance tricky to see but usually following other cars going there too. Parking in front with return cul de sac like turnaround on east side . Lines seem to move quickly with usually 3 efficient ,friendly , helpful postal clerks . They are concerned about performance and always remind you that there is a survey on the receipt. Glad we still have the Usps hope they survive. read more

A package gets sent to me but it's too big for a parcel locker at my apt so I get a redeliver slip. I schedule the redelivery for 2 days later, but it never shows. Now I can't schedule another redelivery because my tracking shows it's still trying to redeliver in a date that's already past. Can't get anyone at the post office to answer the phone so I go down there to be told I owe over $50 in postage because the person used the wrong shipping method but there's no information or how much listed anywhere, and the box that I owe postage isn't checked and no amount was written on the redeliver notice. No wonder you guys are obsolete. Absolute garbage customer service and it's like they just make up rules as they go along and the only option is pay up or they send your shipment back to the seller. Like why did you try to deliver it in the first place if I owed money? Why wasn't the amount I owed listed on the redelivery ticket or the box checked for that matter. I've been coming to this Post Office for decades and have only been greeted with respect and kindness. The staff always trying to help us customers. Remember that some ppl woke up on the wrong side of the bed, so don't truly believe in the negative ratings. I've seen staff change throughout the years but always professional. From reading the multiple negative reviews emanating about the rude crude staff at the Grant Road facility I am so very thankful that my frequent transactions have been without incident. I actually have found the staff to be very professional, knowledgeable, extremely kind, gracious and considering the ingrates some may have to deal with, a beautiful sense of humor. I tend to doubt my positive interactions are rare occurrences but rather exemplifies a routine day at the Grant Road facility. Or am I really the luckiest consumer alive!!!!! read more

Steven was really helpful. With his knowledgeable information we were able to cut the price we had to spend to ship a gift to our grandmother in half. We really appreciated him, it was a clean facility, we were serviced in less than a minute after walking inside, no line. I like this Post Office as much as one could like a PO, I suppose. It's convenient, the lobby is usually pretty clean and well stocked, and the drive thru mailboxes are set up well. The automated machine works more consistently here than at the other location I also frequent (though it's not a huge issue there either). The employees are always very nice and helpful and patient when I ask silly questions or am being picky about what stamps I want to buy. The lines move quickly, which is very appreciated, especially nowadays when I'm more hesitant to be in such close quarters with others. Overall, it's an a-ok Post Office that'll I'll keep using. read more

Will is a Bully and needs to be fired ASAP. He has bullied me and been so absolutely rude beyond belief many times and not just to me. I will say that there are some amazing people that work here like Bea, Steven and Mari. But they should not allow people like him to work anywhere near customers. He is a Bully and very obviously hates his job. I go to this post office probably five times a week to ship packages for my business. Today I tried to ship a 4 x 4 x 4 box like I always do. Will told me "We are not accepting this size package anymore. You'll have to put it in another envelope or box." I asked him if he would please just ship it out today because I was not aware of that. He looked at me and very rudely said NO and gave me the package back. So I went to the post office on Rosemont a few miles away and they said they have never heard of that before. They kindly and sweetly accepted my package with no issues. My new post office. I am contacting the postmaster immediately to report this incident and inform him or her of this behavior because it is absolutely unacceptable and especially to such a good customer. I will not step foot in this post office ever again. read more

This post office on. Grant St in Tucson. is the worst I've ever been around. My daughter. My daughter sent three. birthday card To me Over three weeks ago. only received one. This is not the first time not the second time, but many. times in the last couple of years they changed drivers. and the drivers right around with ear plugs in Urea, listening to music instead of doing their job. But I don't think it's their fault, I think. it's management. and they should know it I've called 6 times today. and nothing was done because it goes to. busy signal. I argued with the driver. This is my go-to mailing spot. They have the 24-hour kiosk which has just about everything. Should you need to use the counter, the personnel are friendly and quick. Even with a line of 5 people in front of me, I was out the door in less than 5 minutes with a restricted package. They actually had someone working the front of the counter to make sure everyone had their packages and labels in order before reaching the counter. read more

My mailbox door was broken, and the chances that it was done by the mail carrier are about 99%. I think they opened the door, put in the mail, then drove off and hit the door. I found it laying in the road. So I glued it and duct taped it together. I wrote a note to them complaining about breaking it. So then they give me a fix it note. I told them I can't fix it by the date they gave me because it is not standard and I have to order the door. (The box is in a brick column, so I can't just replace the box.) So, with no additional warning, they decide they won't deliver the mail at all. They broke it--I'm not even asking them to pay for it. (New door is over $70.00. They're just playing games and being nasty because they don't want to take responsibility for what they did. read more

Good post office, all nice workers there EXCEPT watch out for the big tall girl, at least twice she has caused an unnecessary uncomfortable situation by being hyper-focused on rules and was quite unpleasant about it. Like I just wanted to take a photo of the label on my box before I sent it, and she said I wasn't allowed to take a photo in the building, very rude about it and weird. I had to run outside to take the photo of my box. I'm not easily pissed off or bothered. Something is weird with this employee. And another time something different happened with the same girl. This is the closest post office to me, but several times after these incidents I have gone to post offices farther away to avoid her! read more

My "home" post office is on the east side, but I'm not reviewing that one because I have a New Year's resolution to be nice. It's hard and I'm mostly failing, but not today. I'm going to guess that I'm not the first person to miss the turn-off, traveling westbound on Grant. Be ready screech on your brakes, drop a couple of "F" bombs, give up, and make a U-turn once you've hit N. Wilmot Rd. My visit happened to take place on a slow afternoon, so parking wasn't overly frenetic. I swung by this location today out of workplace proximity and I have to say - although the bar is set pretty low, as far a post offices go in general - that this one was efficient and the employees had life in their eyes. Smiling and laughing, even. There was a short line, but with four stations open it zipped along. I didn't even have time to pull out my smart phone and check Facebook. Err... I mean Yelp. The clerk explained my shipping options without seeming either harried or indolent. She was affable, knowledgeable, and had a sense of humor as she mentioned a major software bug that they were experiencing on a national level. The payment process torments my soul, but that's ALL post offices. Why do you have to wait until the very end to swipe the dang credit card? And then hand it to the cashier any way, sometimes with an accompanying ID and sometimes not? The parking lot is one-way, and you have to do go around a cul-de-sac to circle back and exit. I'm sure it's hellish around the holidays, but the system worked just fine on this languid, spring-like Friday afternoon. read more

I came in to get a package mailed, the lady that was helping me was extremely rude. I asked her if she could help me because I didnt know if the box would fit the item i was shipping, she rudely said that's not my job sometimes you have to try. She seemed annoyed because i asked her to help me. When i was paying i was ready to put in my card she made a rude comment and then as she was charging my card, i was just waiting to take it out and again she made a rude comment. If I could leave zero stars I would. Called yesterday to ask one simple question and the wait time was over an hour it said... no problem they must be busy. I wake up early this morning to call at 7:45 AM, was on hold for 1 hour and 32 minutes and then they picked up and hung up. I cannot describe how infuriating that is. Imagine you're below the poverty line and waiting for a single check to come that has not shown up, you have a phone plan that uses minutes still because an unlimited plan is out of the question financially... now you've used 92 minutes of that plan to be hung up on by the United States Postal Service. If the excuse is that this is a main phone number so it is not this locations fault, I suggest you change the phone number to this locations phone number or make a phone call to corporate to see if something can be done because this is hurting your reviews because you list that as your primary number to call. read more

They charged me $5 more to ship an item back to a merchant in the box it came in because it had priority written on the box. I was trying to recycle the box and use it again rather than getting a new box but they informed me that they owned that box and I was only allowed to ship it Priority or go put my stuff in a different box. Such a stupid rule when I was just trying to recycle the box just like the box said to do. read more

Not a review of this post office only but the entire sysyem. Put a package intercept in four hours after dropping off a package at this location, then watched as the package was tracked to its destination and finally delivered. Seriously folks, you can track the package all the way across the country and never once did the intercept come up when you scanned the tracking number? Good job. You just facilitated the transport of stolen property. Will never use your service for business or personal use again. read more

I have never in my life had a post office like this! We have just recently moved to Tucson, so we have had to use the post office more than usual. The employees are amazing and so friendly. They keep the property so clean and tidy. Customer service is key for them and it shows. It is a joy to bring a parcel there or to pick up our mail. read more

1 star for location alone. Took me several minutes just to pull into this location, and then the parking lot is behind the building on the street, and if you happen to miss the turn, you are stuck back on Grant. More signage is needed, or simply a better location to get in and out of. read more

I have had so many problems with the post office on Grant Rd. I have been in several times and talked to a supervisor and nothing gets better. They have repeatedly folded and forced packages into my post office box, in spite of the packages clearly being labeled "do not bend." I have lost packages because they put the key to the parcel locker in the wrong box. Someone else gets the key and takes the package. A couple of the ladies working there have been nice, but some of the men have been rude. Either way, nothing changes and they continue to have poor quality service. I would not recommend renting a post office box at this location. read more

Repeated CRUSHING and HOLES in boxes! Then when I asked for a pair of scissor to open one such box, they were rude! I was not going to leave until I opened the box to check the contents. I even showed the box to the manager and it was "well, shipper didn't double box, use bubble wrap, or wrap item." EXCUSE ME?!? Item was wrapped in over 3 layers of bubble wrap and box was filled with packing peanuts. Over 90% of my boxes from them are arriving damaged and 75% of these have the items damaged! It's the same old story- "shippers fault, not double boxed, etc." I have filed claims on all the items they have damaged. Their insurance is a SCAM as the RARELY pay up! They seem to think it is okay to trash our property and then not pay out on claims. I have been in contact with someone in Phoenix who "claims" the PO is now checking my boxes before allowing the carrier to delver them. Well, they FAILED! I received another CRUSHED box on Friday. This box was even double boxed and had tons of packing material! However, according to USPS, I'm the one who is lying! I was told to call the PO, that the manager wanted to straighten this out. Well, have called multiple times and NO ONE will answer the darn phone! So much for customer service! read more

This is our "home" post office, and I must say that the service here is horrible. The staff inside couldn't be bothered to help you, and our mail is NEVER delivered to our door whenever we're receiving a package that needs to be signed for. They always lie and say that no one was home, when in fact I am disabled and am ALWAYS home, as well as have a dog who loves to bark when she hears anyone coming up our loud stairs outside. Unless your post delivery men are ninjas, I doubt it's truthful that they really believed no one was home, but rather didn't want to get out of their car to deliver something. Excuse us for their inconvenience of having to do what their job requires them to do. They then again lie and say it's at the post office, and when we show up, it's STILL in the van "on it's way to being delivered." Obviously this place doesn't have their s--t together, and they hardly ever do every time we have some form of mail larger than a letter being sent to us. What a shame! read more
