What is wrong with the post office? They didn't even try to deliver my package. They have sent it back to the sender. The updates they send are horrible and untimely. Have you gone in there recently? You wanna talk about some really rude people? They could give a rats a-- about what you need. I had someone that wouldn't even let me borrow their black marker. I needed one small piece of tape and they told me I could buy it? I'm not giving the US post office any more money ever! There are plenty other services to get what I need. Their automatic door open for handicap accessibility DOES NOT WORK!! I came here Saturday morning before Christmas and there was someone stuck inside the post office. Don't even bother calling this place. I am forced to go here by my apartment complex because this postal site runs the mailboxes, we were unable to use the mailbox for our first month because it apparently take two weeks to get keys they already have into our hands, and when we returned they didn't even know what we were talking about and told us we never did that, until a week later they said our keys were here. I don't know what's worse the fact that they originally gave us the wrong key in the first place or the fact that they changed our mailbox lock a week ago. I felt really valued and prioritized in something as little as the mailbox. My bills and medication getting delivered to me on time is great and all but now I can't even get to them! read more

Disrespectful employee raised his voice with me out of frustration. His name is Dale. While asking me for my address he says what's your number. I gave him the street number. And he raises his voice at me out of frustration saying what's your number in front of everybody in the store when he was asking me for my apt number but he never indicated that all he used for words was what's your number. It was very embarrassing and uncomfortable and my problem was never resolved I waited there for an hour in line just trying to pick up my package when they didn't know where it was. They didn't have my package that's one thing but also raising your voice at a customer in front of a room full of people is out of line. There is no reason to raise your voice at a customer. If there's anybody who should be frustrated it should be the customer not the employee. I did have a customer follow me on my way out of the store indicating that she felt bad the way he spoke to me and noticed that he was very rude to her and me. So she was telling me that she also was disrespected by him so it's not professional for an employee to yell at a customer and then another customer to notice that because there was a room full of people and they all seen it. So my post office that deliver mail to my house is the Post Office at 2100 E Speedway Blvd in Tucson, Arizona. Anytime I've had to go into the post office the staff has been very polite for the most part and although it is a pretty busy post office the line seems to go rather smoothly and quickly. These are the only reason I'm giving my local post office 2 Stars. My problem is with my terrible, awful postman who doesn't seem to give a rats ass about delivering the mail and or packages in a timely manor or with any respect . The Postal Service wants Billions and Billions more dollars to do what? Have a bad postman who doesn't give a shit about people's packages getting to them? I recently ordered a $1200 Louis Vuitton Epi Leather Supreme Wallet. Three weeks ago it was supposedly delivered to my doorstep. Without so much as a knock on the door. And if it was truly delivered then why not make sure the person you are delivering to is home and if not leave a message on the door like UPS or Fed Ex to make arrangements for me to pick it up. But what happened? It was either stolen off my front porch or he lost or had the package stolen from his truck. Either way I'm F''Ing pissed off. Super unhelpful. I came in to drop off a package--I had a paid for mailing label and just needed a small bit of tape to seal off the box. When I was called up to the counter, there has a huge (huge!) roll of packing tape next to the employee. I showed the label, and said I just needed a small piece of tape and would be good to go. He directed me to a wall of packing supplies and said I would need to buy tape (in a fairly condescending/sing-song tone--"You have to pay for it!"). I pointed out the tape next to him and he pointed again to the wall. So, I walked out. Will be sticking with the Casas Adobes or River and Campbell post offices. They are actually helpful to people--and can spare a bit of tape! read more

The postal service won't even bother to knock on your door or attempt real delivery of parcels at my apartment complex. Then I have to go pick up at the USPS office and risk coronavirus. The only thing the USPS is good for is filling up my mailbox with junk mail.. and if you try to opt out of that you still get junk mail. I see no reason for the USPS to even exist any more they are sooo useless. I wish the government would shut it down and let private companies who do an infinitely better job take care of things. This coming from a liberal and it is not about small government - it is about how incompetent an organization the USPS is. Not a fan at all. One day, when sending a package to my boyfriend overseas, I chose to go to this post office. What a mistake!!! I showed up with my package and the forms that I normally bring, and go up to the counter, and the clerk was RUDE. He starts yelling, literally yelling, about how I don't have this extra sticker and how I have it wrong and need to fill this out and going on and on... I tell him "this is always how I've filled it out, I'm sorry" and he goes "Well you've done been told wrong!!!" Several times, interrupting me. I'd like to point out that his supervisor is standing right there nodding her head to everything he says. I was so shocked at being yelled at here. I felt like crying. And the thing is, it really isn't that big of a deal to fill out that extra form/sticker thing. If he'd told me kindly I would've have thought twice about it. But he was YELLING. My mom was with me and thought we must have done something really really wrong and offensive. When she realized what we did she was pissed at the overreaction. Just unprofessional! I've had great experiences at the Rosemont and Pantano branches. I will not return to speedway. read more

You would think with the heavy traffic these guys get that they would be nicer and more prepared...or maybe all the clueless college kids have left them wary and jaded, like zoo animals that get poked too much. Anyways, there are a couple regular clerks who are always in a good mood and one guy, who you would think to be the nicest one there, judging by looks, who is sour and unhelpful ALL THE TIME. Seriously, i avoid the lobby when i see him. I had to purchase a stamp and mail a letter but the signage at this location is terrible. I could not find the customer entrance (if there even is one). I ended up having to go to another Post Office location where there was no parking lot. I would recommend avoiding the Post Office in Tucson in general. Buy your stamps elsewhere if possible. read more

I can't actually determine which location "delivers" our mail, so this will be a general review of USPS. Our mail is not getting picked up. We operate a business, and on occasion, must send small packages via Priority Mail. Not only do these packages not get picked up, but our regular outgoing mail is ignored as well. The outgoing mail is conspicuously marked, and in order to deliver mail, the outgoing mail has to be moved aside. So, bills, letters, invoices etc., all delayed because USPS doesn't 'feel' like doing their job. Unfortunately I cannot send all letters etc. via UPS, but would gladly do so since they actually care about customer service. Calling USPS is a useless proposition. I am given a local number to call, and upon calling, find it is a FAX machine. Emailing USPS is pointless. What gives USPS the right or authority to determine whether or not we are able to operate our business? read more

This location is pretty busy, especially on Mondays. Being right by the university, it gets busy FAST. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They do have the automated kiosk which is helpful. Unfortunately, you can not send anything that is more than a pound without someone physically taking it. read more

Depending on who is working depends on the service you receive. I use to stop in here 2-3 times a week for work to get a date stamp and most the staff let me cut in line since my postage was paid and I just needed a quick stamp. Sometimes I had to stand in line and listen to upset people argue about their lost package when they didn't have a tracking number to find it, "The note just said it would be here!" Please help the line move quicker and be prepared when you see a teller! Also, please keep you kids from screaming and running around. Most of us are tired from a long day. Overall, I really don't have any issues with this place. Yes, I've run into some rude staff but most are helpful and want to get you moving along as badly as you want to move along. Sometimes the line is super long on holidays, I suggest off hours like mornings. They have boxes, cards, gift cards, and stamps for purchase. Don't forget your ID if you're picking up a package or the routing number/notice slip. You'll need both if you want a successful mission. read more

Somehow the line is always long here if you want counter service. However if you just need to use the automated postal machine you can be in and out of there pretty quickly. The mail drop off is also super convenient when you're driving east on Speedway since you can pull right in and follow the little circle back out to Speedway and continue your drive. read more

Most of the books I am using for my dissertation--all highlighted and annotated--at the University of Arizona went missing between this post office and my field site in Seattle. I asked them how best to ship books, bought their box, filled it within their specifications, and mailed the package from the Sam Hughes Post Office in early December 2017. Not only did the books never arrive, but only the box lid, still taped up from when i filled it, was cut off my box and mailed to me at my field site in Seattle. I have spent a (completely futile, so far) month trying to recover the books. This post office massively failed at recommending the best way to ship my books and cost me (literally) hundreds of dollars and hundreds of hours of work. Kazakhstan? Maybe. "This credit card receipt from Spangdahlem Air Base doesn't say for cuckoo clock. It's just receipt for $445.41. Do you have receipt that says cuckoo clock? This receipt could be for moose and squirrel. Old funny Bolshevik joke. Haha. Maybe get handwritten receipt. Maybe I put this claim in for insurance, but I don't think it will be paid without receipt that says cuckoo clock." Its the post office.. I avoid coming in at all times, lines are long and people are cranky. On the rare chance I didn't prepay for postage then I blame myself and torture myself for a good 15 mins while tapping my foot and looking at my phone. Place is a little outdated, but the people are very very friendly and are doing the best they can. I want to give the staff here 5 stars but the wait times and the understaffing 1 star. read more
