I was looking for a specific stamp and a postal clerk at another location stated that this location might have it. This location is super small and they don't really have a parking lot. So its street parking for the most part. I stopped by and luckily when I got here they did have it. I wanted 2 sheets of the Bruce Lee Forever Stamp and the clerk went to check and said that I was lucky that I came because they only had 2 left in stock. The employees were super helpful and friendly and quick too. I'm glad I was able to get my stamps today. read more

I rarely have to go to the post office but when I do, this is my go to spot. It is close to both work and home which makes it convenient. It's a pretty small post office and almost has an old-fashioned feel to it. And it usually is not very busy either which is great for quick lunch hour drop ins. Also, it is located on the Miracle Mile which is just an all around nice area of town. I am surprised by the number of reviews complaining about the customer service. Whenever I have to be helped at the counter I always receive very friendly service and my visit yesterday was no exception. Zero complaints from me. read more

So my wife goes in there to drop off an item we sold on eBay. The lady tells her they don't print labels. So she has to go to another post office. My only thought is if I walked in there and wanted to ship something out I'm pretty sure they would be required to, I don't know print a label, so pretty obvious it's a person issue not policy. Need to overnight this check that shouldve been in Oakland last week. Small post office that had no line today. I live for weekdays lol. Well theres no parking lot, so if youre lucky, you can get one of the 2 spots in front. I wasnt lucky. Had to park in the small lot connected to the bldg next to the post office. So for my 100th review it will be on a Post Office on the Miracle Mile. This is a very small Post office. But it's the closest one by my house. I'll come here, when I need to mail something out. The downside is, for me anyways. If I need a package sent to me or pick up mail. I'm not in this district, I have to travel to West LN Post Office. I used to live basically right off the Oxford circle. Pretty much two blocks away. So that used to be a hassle, because we used to do a lot of online shopping. Now I live almost right behind here and I still can't receive my mail here lol. Throughout the years, I never had problems with the workers. Always friendly to me. Just remember this place is small and it gets packed really quick. Sometimes it's only one worker working the front register. Today I was second in line, then a rush of people swarmed in. Hecka rude....I seriously can't believe the disrespect the post office dude was talking and treating my mother. He has this stupid little horn he blew in her face to tell her no, when she asked for her package back. She had an anxiety attack, from the stress he caused her. Although I have a post office box at this office, I cannot wait for it to expire. Here's why: Every time i have had to do some type of transaction at the counter it has never been a good one. The other day I had to mail a letter to Australia. After waiting in line patiently while the guy behind the counter went on and on with the customer before me, (at that time we were the only two customers) I finally get to the counter, I ask how much will it cost and how long will it take, I give the guy the address and he starts looking it up, and he is having a hard time, and he's hemming and hawing, getting frustrated, then he says 'I hope you're going to mail this because it's taking me a long time looking it up". I tell him "You're going to look it up, it's your JOB!" Then...silence. With that type of shitty service, no wonder offices are closing. You would think they would be happy their office was saved from closure. read more

You gotta feel for the workers here. This place is horribly understaffed and the clientele is strange and a bit grouchy. I didn't come to the post office to hear a tea-party diatribe about Obama from a blustery customer. I can accept the long line but I guess I am not in the mood for a debate at the post office. It's probably even harder for the workers but even after I was polite they were less than accomodating. I had to step away from the line and counter to fill out forms that they were missing at the self-service kiosk twice! They then proceeded to tell me that my box needed more tape so I wasn't able to mail it anyway! read more

Overall this quaint little neighborhood Post Office, is just that. Small, sometime more customers than workers but all in all if you just need to run in and drop of mail or pick up stamps ... it's worth the little wait...Always thank the staff because they do work hard and always smile to make your visit a little nicer. read more

Friendly and personable Staff, boxes are affordable, clean lobby! Every visit I have made has been pleasant. The line isn't bad. Almost never is a line and when there is I've never waited more than a couple minutes. It always helps, too, that its conveniently located on across a Starbucks. 4 stars instead of 5 because they don't have a parking lot. Street parking only. If I could give zero stars I would. I had a package that said it was delivered and sent to my mailbox (USPS online tracking), but there was no key. I'm not sure which USPS location in Stockton delivered my package, so I will copy and paste this to all the of the offices.I paid about $65 for my package. I called, emailed a claim, wrote emails to different departments, but still no reply in further processing my claim. I've gotten calls from customer representatives, but all they said was they can't help me and are unsure what the next step is. Calling them is pretty much useless unless you have time, or else you will be on hold for a very long time and good luck in emailing them because I have yet to receive a reply. read more

Terrible place, especially if you need to call them. They never answer the phone. I am having problems with mail service and was told to call this office. I called several times and either the phone was busy or the phone would just ring and ring. I actually let it ring for 5 minutes straight. I am going to call the main 800 # and complain about this place! Customer Service what is that, especially at this joke of a post office. My favorite post office in Stockton just at the end of the miracle mile. You may have to park on the street but there's almost always a spot that's close. Every time I go inside they're always playing awesome rock music that's probably why I like it so much. read more

There once was a time when this place was going to shut down but everybody in the neighborhood banded together to keep this place open. The fact that this is a post office and is in close proximity to my house is the only benefit of this place staying open. This place would be all right except for that gentleman that always manages to be working when I go in. All of you know who I am talking about. He is middle aged, real annoying, passively rude, lazy, works to the far left, longer hair than normal dont care guy. I wish I had his name but oh well. I've had numerous encounters with this guy and I absolutely hate going there because I know he's going to help me. I've avoided writing a review but after today I have to. In the past I remember asking him for help but he made it seem as if I was burdening him. I also wanted to ship something and him responding, "I need a box in order to ship something." Yeah I know. I was standing in line to purchase a box because there weren't any on the floor. So I gett a box and have to stand back in line. Not just any line though because when he is at his station this line feels like an eternity. This is because no matter how long his line is he loves to talk to people that don't love talking to him. Stop asking so many customers random questions because they feel obligated now to give you an answer. This holds the line up. One time I was shipping some shoes back that were actually shipped to me by the USPS in the actual shoebox. He told me he couldn't ship them back in a shoebox that was once previously shipped to me like that. Another time I came fully prepared and had a box ready to go. To his standard the item in the box was moving around a bit too much and wasn't secured enough. OK, it wasn't but I cut open the box and rearrange the bubble wrap and filler paper. There, it is now secured. Let's tape this bad boy up and ship it...but he can't provide tape and tells me I need to purchase some. You got me, thanks. To make it even worse, I see the tape to his right that has been clearly been used. One time a 100+ year old man wanted to buy a book of stamps and he told the old man that he doesn't have change for a $100. He then bamboozled the old man into buying $100 worth of stamps. I'm pretty sure the old man had no clue what had happened. Today I wanted to get an estimate on how much it would cost to ship something and he said he couldn't tell me without them being in a box. I said, "You just can't put it on the scale and check?" He did but then hastily responded by saying, "Just use the flat rate boxes" and then pointed to them. DO NOT GO HERE. If you need customer service go elsewhere; to the one on West lane or to the one on Robinhood. I like Terrence he's ok. But the one 'on the left' is lazy as heck! Don't ask him for anything because it's too much for him. He can barely just take an envelope or sell you postage. I worked for the postal service and I know him. Not him personally but I know him. They're the ones who do the very minimal. He won't give you any supplies. He says "Go on line and get it!" Seriously this guy irritates me. Just yesterday I went in to mail something to a friend with a APO (military) address. I had customs forms I'd printed out on the USPS website and needed help on what to do with them and how to attach them to the envelope (in a sleeve, taped, etc) His answer was, "I don't know I don't go on the website, I don't know whats on there." I replied, "well maybe you should, it would be helpful to your customers for you to know." His response, was "well tell my boss so he can make the time for me because I'm not doing it on my own time." I take my package and walk out. What a nucklehead he is. So today I take my package to the ladies on West Lane and they knew exactly what to do and whatsmore, when they heard my tale they just looked down and they knew exactly who I was talking about. The professionals they are said nothing more about him. This clown makes me regret having supported that this post office remain open. I hope someone knows the postmaster there at that location. read more

The only reason I use this post office is when I have to go on lunch because it's the closest to where I work but the customer service here is TERRIBLE. Any request I have is greeted with annoyance. Is it really so terrible to ask for a particular stamp? Any question I asked was met with a response like I was a moron. I just wanted some of my letters to be hand canceled and not only did he refuse, he argued that nobody does that anymore, machines are used and that he could but it would be ran through the machine anyways. I still said I would feel better knowing it was hand canceled and he yelled back "IT WONT MATTER!" Then why would you even offer if you're ultimately going to say no? I left so upset and I will NEVER visit this post office again. read more
