Ok I'm about fed up.. I'm awaiting a package and I get a no access to delivery location alert. There's one in particular a sometimes lazy mailman and I think I know who it is... some ____ dude with dreads..where I don't see him on our side of the street but on the opposite side and he's always coming up after 6:30pm.. route city 16..I got mail incoming today too based on informed delivery. I always get my packages for the most part but since this happened I'm just gonna have them delivered to my PO Box if at all possible. This is bullshit. Last November we were missing some jury duty summons. I get that some missing mail shows up the next day or two or three but nothing. I went to the arch airport window and gave them my info and copy of my informed delivery highlighting the mail pieces. Also at the same time waited for the mailman that day being a different guy that also is a shop steward and had much better demeanor.. gave him the same info. I get no callbacks. Mail service has been on a bitch ass decline prolly since 2023-2024 and counting and it's just getting worse. I'm about to call customer service or just email. Hopefully the next day it won't be the same POS mailman because delivery will be attempted again. read more

This place honestly needs to close down. They don't ever answer phone calls, they don't respect people's time and they are terrible at customer service. The delivery mailman that looks younger is always slamming our mailboxes, he flips them open and closes them very rough, not sure who you are but respect other people's things and not try to destroy our mailboxes. When you walk up to the person they don't acknowledge you and just throw it into the mailbox and disregard you standing there. Like I said everyone that works here is horrible and it seems like there is. I management because if there is then they need to get a replacement. Get rid of everyone and get new people that care about the community that they serve. read more

The worst USPS Postal service in Stockton. They are outdated and very rude. My mail has not been delivered and or being stolen or put in the wrong mailbox and the employees seemed annoyed that I went to try to retrieve my mail and find out why I'm not getting certain mail like My Damn Check. Then one of the female employees slipped me her number with a note reading what I should do and the steps I should take. I called the Inspector Generals office and filed a complaint. a few hours later I received a threatening phone call from someone who works for the West Sacramento office On industrial blvd. I was in there March 15th to send out a package. I dropped it off got my receipt no problem. But the lady who grabbed it from the counter walks into the back and tosses it somewhere. Came to get postage & drop off a package. Just as I get to the front of the line, the only cashier/worker helping anyone goes on a 15min break. The catch is there is no one to take her place. WTH????? There's another woman walking back and forth but she says she can't help anyone in the line that's formed unless they're ONLY "picking up" or just "dropping off". They were simply supposed to deliver my package to my front door. It didn't get delivered rescheduled my delivery still didn't get delivered. Next I called them they said they would send it out the next day still no delivery. I don't understand how they can't do their job. It is impossible to reach a human being when you call (209) 9836422. Atfer listening to their outgoing message, you are told to stay online while your call is being tranfered to the operator. The phone then rings to times and then disconnects, with no chance to even leave a message. I called on 5/15/2024 10 times and got the same result. Also called on 5/16/2024 and got the same results. I was trying to talk with them about the US flag at the front of the building, its ripped and faded and it disgraceful that they would let the flag get in that condition. They keep raising the price of stamps and the service gets worse. Bad management and leadership, lack of attention to details. Maybe they should upgrade the phone system so you could leave a message, so hopefully some might be able to call you back. Maybe their strategy is if we don't take customers calls we can say to higher up that we never get an complaints. When stamps were just 3 cents things were much better customer service wise and there were alot fewer problems with the post office. This post office did not even attempt to retrieve a package after they failed to forward it to an address on file. They allowed whoever is living at the address to keep it. When you call the automated message lies about being answered promptly. This has never happened. Instead after 7 rings the call is dropped. This is the worst service I've ever experienced at a USPS facility. read more

Had a package that was suppose to be delivered but was late and could not find any information on the tracking so I decided to just call my post office, they never pick up the phone like they are to busy. You can access your po box on Saturday till 4:00pm. The main office is not open. You can't access your box 24/7. Not open at all sunday.

Terrible service at this post office. Seems like anytime you order a large product online they never deliver it. I have cameras on the perimeter of my home so therefore I can actually see the mailbox and/or mail carrier when they arrive. They posted a note in my mailbox saying they "attempted to deliver" when clearly they never walked to my house... I don't know if these workers are just lazy or don't even have the package to begin with but seems like a lot of fraudulent activity when they put one thing and do another. The WORST post office. My mail and packages constantly get lost and misdelivered. I try and call in to check status and they never answer unless it's one minute after they open. I have had to chase down the post master numerous times and called in to get situations right. Post master has even told me that it would be easier to get my money back if I ordered through amazon. The audacity of this system. How hard is it to READ the darn adress rather than guessing it? I hate to be the "can I speak with your manager" type but you really have to wonder. Awful doesn't begin to describe this post office I have packages delivered to home on a constant basis and for some unknown reason the post lady always scans my items as delivered and says she left them with an individual at my address I have security cameras and the shared mail box is in front of my house and not once has she come up to my door to deliver my packages personally she is being very Deceitful when she scans packages and marks them as delivered before they are even delivered Then a EUGENE from the Sacramento office keeps sending me emails claiming that the post worker was right in what she did I tried calling the phone number that I was given in the email and it just rings and hangs up I hope this post office gets shut down I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and unpleasant postal service If anyone has gone through the same thing call the corporate office I'm getting an attorney and see what I can do read more

Single worst USPS experience I have ever encountered. A package I sent to a customer was lost in the mail for over a month and being forwarded over and over to various locations. I inquired about the location of the package and this post office provided no assistance whatsoever to help track it down. In addition to ignoring my emails and calls for weeks, the response I got from a "customer service" manager Jon Jon Rodriguez was a useless apology and no action taken to remedy anything on their part. 0/10 would never interact with them again. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received. I would give them no stars if possible. I was calling them in regards on a case that I have filed on a missing package worth over $100 of merchandise, so you know you would want some answers/help too. The lady that I spoke too was very unprofessional. She was not helpful at all and hung up on me without saying anything. Just bought a home at the end of January. I'm still waiting for a key and locks to change at this slow post office. This is ridiculous they would think while I commute from the Bay Area I have time to run in and out checking for my mail and key from them. The worst post office you could ever go to. We moved to Stockton about 3 months ago & we still haven't received our mailbox key. The first time we went to go pick up the key they told us that our key was the first one at the top of the list to be made and to come back tomorrow then they'll have it. We go and of course they don't have not only that but they were having an office party during hours. While talking to the lady manager about the issue she starts directing people to where to put the cake and where to put the pizza. After weeks going back and forth with all the lies and excuses they make up I finally got fed up because the carrier left my mail in my mailbox that has no lock so anybody could have gotten into the mailbox and taken my mail! What in their right mind would they leave mail in a box that has no lock at all! As I went in there today the manager lady makes up the best excuse ever! Saying it's taking so long because our lock is special! It blew me out of the water so I asked what could be so special about the lock that's taking so long, she then says it's because the type of it (they're all the same!!!) . She also said that she'd personally come down and put a note on the mailbox so none of the carriers would put mail in it. & she promised our lock to be fixed by tomorrow. Let's see if she'll personally put that note or if that lock gets fixed tomorrow. WORST PLACE EVER. read more

When I first moved to Stockton it took over 3 weeks to get my mail key, when I went to pick it up the guy gave me an attitude and one excuse after the other of why they probably wouldn't have the key. After listening to him for a few minutes I finally asked him to go look and see if they have my key. They did. Why was that so hard? Why couldn't he just go look in the 1st place. I had my mail key for a few weeks then randomly one day the key no longer worked. I called and called an called finally for someone on the phone a few days later (post office is closed on weekends so have to take a day of work to go in) when I finally got a hold of someone they said they key wasn't working cause they had just changed they locks. I was told they didn't know if they had already been changed the lock. so just in case they changed it again! They have my phone number from the original request form why couldn't they just call and ask?!?! The lady on the phone was at least polite and said that she would have the mail carrier place the new mail key under my door mat. I waited a few days no key. I called multiple times a day for the last 3 weeks trying to get a hold of someone. I was finally able to take the day off work today to try to get the new mail key. Of course I don't have the request form because they already did the lock change once but the lady gives me an attitude because I don't have it. I FINALLY get the key. Guess what there's no mail in my mail box because they were holding the mail. I go to the post office wait forever for them to look for the mail and then am told "we can't find it" ummmm excuse me how did you lose my mail?!?!? Worst post office ever! read more

Zero stars if I could. I applied for my CA ID 3 weeks ago and it never came. I called DMV and they said the post office had returned my ID and I have to wait another 2 WEEKS just because the post office randomly returns people's IMPORTANT MAIL. Such a disgrace to be even called USPS. But how funny all my non important mail arrive except for the mail that I NEED. The post office also tends to put rookie mailmen to do our route. Be mindful of your important mail. I had a new SS card mailed to me and was diligent using the Informed Delivery to know when to expect it. Once the Informed Delivery email showed me the envelope, I checked my mailbox and nothing. Nothing for 7 days so I put in a claim for them search for it. Never heard back about it. Called the office that handles the mail delivery for my address and was told that "oh it happens sometimes, just have them send you another ss card". Really?!?! So I called the main number and opened a fraud case with the USPS. They were prompt in responding and looking into the mailbox being vandalized but that was not the case. I kept calling regularly questioning how it could show on the Informed Delivery but miraculously not show up even though it was confirmed the box wasn't vandalized.....well another 6 days later it shows up, TAMPERED WITH! It was obvious the envelope was attempted to be opened. Meanwhile, I had already received the 2nd *(&^ SS card that I had requested without any problems. I don't trust the employees at this post office and find it very questionable their lack of concern of deliveries being made. read more
