Even though Post Offices are closed on Sundays, their drop off boxes and PO Boxes can be accessed. We had several pieces of important mail the send. We wanted to drop them off at this main post office so that the mail could get a good start toward its destination. It's easy and quick to use the drive through. This post office location gets really busy around 12:00 noon. Just be aware that you may have to wait in a long, slow line to get your items processed. I've never had bad service when I've used this post office and they have a nice variety of mailers and cards for purchase. read more

They keep sending someone else mail into my mailbox. I complained many times but I still receive someone else mail almost daily. Not sure how they keep their paycheck. Terrible. read more

Never had an issue here in over 20 years; staff is friendly, helpful, even funny at times! Line goes quickly unless people are unprepared, which isn't the USPS's fault. Nice variety of commemorative stamps to choose from, easy to deal with. read more

This has become such a bad post office-service wise! I arrived at 2:45 on a Saturday-I am #10 in line and there is 1 clerk working today!!! Unbelievable. I feel bad for the one clerk that is working. Awesome place, local, quick and easy. As far as the out of town negative reviews, these folks need to get a life. Why in the world would you ever try to CALL a Post Office is beyond me. Friendly staff but the lines inside are always long at this location. Our mail carrier is very inconsistent. I think it's time to end government run postal service. WAY OVERDUE!!! I have had tenants pay extra for USPS quick delivery and many timers it will takes weeks instead of days for me to receive rent. read more

This is the worst post office ever! The mail carrier is terrible. Half the time I don't receive my mail or I receive the neighbor's mail. Also, I'm tired of the carrier stopping my delivery for no reason. No note indicating the post box is too full. I leave mail in the box for them to take and it will sit for days until I leave a freaking note. Since we are living in a COVID world, I have tried to call the post office 5 times and every time I wait for 4 minutes then I get a fast busy and get disconnected. This is unacceptable. They need to dismantle the postal system and start again. So inefficient! read more

Carrier too often puts neighbors mail in my box. Carrier arbitrarily stops delivery when he feels mail box is too full. As per USPS regulation, if box is too full, he is supposed to remove all the mail from the box, place a notice in it indicating the box was too full with other information regarding what the owner of the box needs to do to resolve the issue. read more

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Scottsdale Road is the USPS Kachina Station. The post office is a veritable oasis for sending packages, submitting passport application, practicing philately , and receiving mail in a sea of businesses that, well, just don't accommodate such services. Fine during slow times, this location has a tendency to get quite busy. Use the Automated Postal Center, you think. Sometimes that's fine but I've been in line for the APC and seen the desk service go faster. In short, this isn't the best or quickest post office but it's the closest to me so I keep going back. read more

This place is pretty fast compared to the Post Offices I have worked at. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the public these days. They do pretty well. I hate this post office the people are rude and the delivery man never delivers our packages and just leaves notes to pick up at office or they get delivered to the wrong address. This time we didn't check our mail for two days and they put it on hold for a full mail box yet the junk mail was 99% of the mail. When asked if I could stop junk mail they said call those places and check your mail every day so it won't go on hold!!! I don't get packages addressed to me but yet the junk mail they fill my mail box up with and even mail not addressed to me!!! This guy and usps is a joke!!! Lousy service. Post office only picks up 50% of my pick up orders. The rest of the time, they don't come by.

Gated community secluded area. USPS according to tracking gave 2 packages 'to an individual at the address'. No one was at the house the alarm was set from 0600 to 5pm and the delivery took place at 1PM when no one was home. I am guessing that they delivered to the wrong address. Tough to know who what where how. They need to get a better tracing system since who knows what address or if the carrier took the product for themselves. Their claim system sucks too. read more

Postal service in the Boulders - North Scottsdale is the worst service I've ever had from any post office. The carrier for our address in the Boulders DOES NOT PICK UP MAIL THAT IS LEFT IN THE MAILBOX, EVEN WITH THE RED FLAG UP. This happens quite frequently and is not appreciated - nor is getting other peoples mail in our mailbox . It's not my job to deliver the mail - it's his. Workers here are so unpleasant. The lady behind the counter yelled at me "Does the package deposit work, that's where your package goes!" I said I don't know if it works, I always set them aside on the counter like everyone else. She screamed "Put it in the deposit!" In front of 6 people in line. Cannot get an update on a package to be delivered today. Tried ten times with the correct tracking number, but it says there is no status available. These asinine people working here will NOT pick up the phone. I have now dialed them ten times, and get bounced to operator. It rings 10-15 times and disconnects me. If it were legal I would take revenge. As it is, I am now a convert to sending anything important via UPS. read more

The drop off bin for packages is always full and jammed. Numerous trips at different hours to drop off packages after hours, and usually have to return a second trip. This post office has close to 1000 post office boxes, but only one drop off bin for packages. read more

This is probably one of the most friendly post offices I have ever been to ... Great customer service and very efficient! I have never felt like I had to be wait in line forever ... The staff/workers here are really what makes things very smooth - all the counter staff is very personable and cool personalities! I would highly recommend coming to this post office. read more

Considering all the other Post Offices I have been to in or around Scottsdale, this has to be the best. I stopped going into the one located on Rose Garden Lane by Desert Ridge to drive a few more minutes out of my way to this one. Why? Because the employees are knowledgeable, helpful and actually run a pretty decent USPS location, which is mind blowing, I know! I have never waited longer than 15 minutes and that's even with a super long line. I think they run this location pretty efficiently and add cashier's as needed, i.e: if there is a long line. read more

They just go about their business at the same speed day after day. I don't think there is any management here and if there is they never come out to the front to see what is going on. Considering my affinity for the post office is akin to a root canal, a four-star review is sayin' something! I have a PO box here, and upon sign-up, the customer service agent took me to the box to 1) show me where it was in the rows upon rows of boxes, and 2) to make sure I, with my small stature, could reach it on the top row. Much appreciated. I occasionally get mail for the apparent last owner of my PO box, and that appears fairly normal considering the random other pieces of mail sitting out. They SHOULD have a PO box reject mail drop because it appears most people are just throwing that stuff away... For regular PO use, expect long, but decently fast moving lines at busy times. read more

I ordered a very expensive item from a company that delivers through USPS and First Class only. My package took a week to tell me it was a failed delivery because of an invalid address. Okay... odd, so I reschedule the delivery and input my address again to the right one. Come today I still haven't received my package that was supposed to be delivered twice. Another thing is we just received another package from USPS today with the exact same address as my package. How can you deliver one and not another to the exact same address... now I have no idea where my package is because I haven't received it, the tracking info doesn't say anything or where to pick it up and I'm out a lot of money with no item to show for it. If I could leave a negative review I would but 1 star is as low as it goes. read more

This post office exceeded my expectations today. I had a missing package (that said it had been delivered already) I spoke with a USPS employee there at 9am regarding its status. By 4pm, the package was located, transported, and delivered to my doorstep. Great accountability and I appreciate the work they put in finding a missing Christmas gift.
