How they can do it so quickly amazes me. Then once they hit the streets they are pressured to deliver each piece of mail at a very fast pace. There are other staff who hide out watching how quickly the mail is delivered. If you are a new employee and not fast enough in delivering the mail, you will be fired. Not to mention the stress of walking the many miles to deliver mail. And the stress on the body carrying the mail on your shoulders.it is not an easy job at all.

I contacted your office for assistance in tracking down my mailbox number. During the call, the representative I spoke with was dismissive and unprofessional. He stated that helping me was "a service" and that he "didn't have to help me at all." Shortly after, he hung up on me. I understand USPS staff are often busy, but I reached out because I genuinely needed assistance. Instead of being treated respectfully, I felt belittled and disregarded. This experience left me disappointed and concerned about the level of customer service being provided. I had a passport appointment at a scheduled time 2:15. I walk in 15 min earlier. I check in and start filling everything out. I was missing the ss#, I ask my husband to go home and get it. Mind you we live 5 min away. We get called to the front at 2:20 and I let them know my situation. The Asian lady who helped us and is always rude with customers immediately said, "no we cannot help you" I let her know my husband is on his way back and right away she said, "no we cannot help you reschedule." Ok yes I know forgetting my son's social is my fault. I get there 15 min earlier, you don't help me, call me 5 min after my scheduled appt and then say you can't help me because according to your supervisor 'you should've been halfway done with the application already.' How is that my fault?! Awful customer service.

My husband and I have repeatedly asked them to fly the flags, as they're supposed to - but each time we have received an attitude. Today, the worker even questioned if it was required by law or not. I researched online if they are required to provide receipts and yes, the post office is required to provide one if you request it. It does not matter how many packages you have. Online it says, that if a post office staff person says they will not provide you with one then ask to speak to her supervisor. It is within your rights to get a receipt. But it seems this post office does not like to provide receipts, why is that? I wrote directly to the US Post Office headquarters in regards to this issue as it is concerning to me. I know my rights but this is my neighborhood post office. I just want the staff to follow the law and not find excuses.

I needed to ship off my passport renewal application and was too afraid to do it in my own. I came into this location for assistance with shipping out my package and ensuring I have all of the right documents. The first person to help me was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, when we got to the end of my package she informed me that I have to pay either by check or with a money order as this is all the department of state will accept for passport renewals. I was forced to leave, go to the bank, and come back. At this point, I was helped by a different employee that was helpful- but a little rude. Additionally, I noticed other employees being rude and snappy to customers.
