I sent out my first batch of wedding invitations 2 weeks ago at a different post office in Houston, and they charged me $.20 something cents per invitation. $1.50 to Canada. This post office charged me $3.50 per invitation to send them out DOMESTICALLY. I moved here 2 years ago (Richmond Tx) and ever since absolutely everything that gets sent to me via USPS with a tracking number NEVER gets delivered when it notifies "DELIVERED" i always either get it days later, delivered to someone else or just never get it. The USPS has always been and always will be a busy place. But this location handled my situation with over 20 incoming packages with ease. They held it for me, and the wonderful lady at the Dutch Door was always working with a smile on her face and helping me out. I appreciate their service. This post office is the worst part of Richmond, Tx. On multiple occasions, they have lost my mail. Most recently a really large check that I have been waiting for. I received a call from them today stating that they can't find my check and that I should have the company re-issue another. read more

This office has delivery drivers that steal Amazon packages. I had two packages scheduled for delivery. Driver delivered one and then hours later changed the status of the other to delivered when it was never delivered. My doorbell camera shows only one delivery. Would never trust this office as they hire ppl that have no morals. read more

The mail carrier has stopped delivering packages to my residence. The keep marking them as undeliverable and forces my wife to lose income to go pick up the package from the post office. I complained the USPS website about this and the manager from there called me, yelled at me and hung up on me. Then she proceeded to abuse her power and marked as lost, then changed it to undeliverable, then marked it for return to sender...all of the same day we received the pink pick up slip in a community mailbox. The office of my RV community refuses to deal with packages since they lost some and even if they did accept packages, they are only open 3 hrs. A day. This manager at the post office insists the delivery driver must be delivered to the RV office, but that is impossible for them to do. So basically this office is telling me that won't ever deliver a single package to my home. I wonder why they are getting paid when they are refusing to their job. My RV is small two road place. It is not hard to deliver here. It is not a crime infected area. There is simply no excuse for this kind of behavior from ANY business. I am closing my P?O? My apartment complex has a package room for packages and yet any time I have a package they mark it undeliverable and I have to go pick it up. The workers are rude and they just have you wait at that window endlessly and it's entirely unnecessary. There is a room and lockers dedicated to packages and they are simply too lazy to take them there. It's absolutely ridiculous. read more

I have been getting postal service from this location for the past 35 years and I have seen the service drop from excellent to piss poor in the last two years. Mail put in neighbors boxes, late delivery, no delivery at all, and mail not picked up with new delivered mail piled on top. My normal carrier seems to be great and doing a great job but when a supernumerary or other carrier fills in the service is sub par. My regular delivery person exhibits extra effort when delivering packages and places them by the front door. I have found packages dropped by the mail box beside the road, in the bushes, and at neighboring addresses lately and I sure it isn't the regular route carrier doing this. I guess this is what you can expect when testing is no longer conducted for civil service positions and hiring standards are lowered to the lowest common denominator. Quite possibly the most inefficient and unfriendly office I've had the misfortune of dealing with. On multiple occasions now they have marked a package of mine "delivered", yet it's nowhere to be found in my mailbox or around my home. Trying to call them for anything is a multi-hour activity as no one ever answers the phone, and when they do you'll either be put on hold ad-infinitum or they'll just plain hang up. Needless to say, after a morning of listening to the ringing of a phone over and over my patience has been thoroughly tested. And this is to say nothing about the overall service you get from the USPS as a whole, which is an issue unto itself. Good luck to you if you need anything from this place. read more

Idek where to start. Lost my package with vintage watch and filed a claim for it and lost. Next I go in person for the same problem again claiming they don't know where my package went. Most rude workers in the whole city here. Extremely unprofessional just a joke honestly the whole logistics system needs help. Don't even bother dropping your Mail off in the blue bin outside it will be stolen. The WORST experience. Called to confirm if my package was at their location- was put on hold for 15 mins. Ended up driving to location, stood in line and then when I got to the counter it took Travis 15 mins to come back and tell me the package is on the truck to be re-delivered. Worst post office Ever. Rude, steals packages or sends them back just for fun. when I confronted the mailman about missing packages (5-6 packages) from weeks prior, he then handed me a notice saying packages are at post office for pickup when in fact they were already mailed back to sender and I wasted an hour round trip to the post office for them to tell me "it's your word against his" and I don't understand how they were all sent back anyway when I check the mail at least 2-3 times a week and received letters with no problem. If I could give less than one star I would. This is the worst post office I have EVER seen. No one ever answers the phone. One month ago there was a problem with mail boxes being switched. I thought my box had been broken into, so after I drove 30 minutes to stand in line to get the lock changed (because they won't answer the phone), got switched from window to window, finally set up to have my lock changed. Turns out when the two community mailboxes were removed to replace the concrete underneath, the two boxes were switched. AFTER I spent a whole afternoon trying to take care of getting my mail, they called me and said it was the boxes being set wrong and it would be fixed. I was assured they wouldn't change my lock. Now, almost 30 days later, they've changed my mailbox lock without telling me! Now I have to drive back out there (because they don't answer the phone) and try to get the key for my mailbox. I am to pick up mail at post office until this is done. Also paid $25. Was told that it may take up to 2 weeks to get lock changed and receive key which I opted to receive at my door. A week later I am trying to pick up mail and packages that I see have been delivered through my USPS account and the female states I have nothing there. My mail is being delivered to my mailbox. ??? Is someone not doing there job or is it they can not read? I sent my daughter again today to pick up mail and she got the same thing... Dear Postmaster: It is after 9:00 PM. After waiting all day for a package that was designated as "out for delivery", a mail truck drove up to our mailbox pod, picked up only the outgoing mail, and drove away. No mail or packages were delivered. This is not the first time this has happened. Sometimes packages designated as "out for delivery" don't arrive until the next day or later. I forgot to mention that there is no problem with the weather that could have interfered with delivery. On the contrary, the weather today was beautiful...a nice day to spend not working. We are tired of having to endure such shoddy service, and it has been going on for years. How many people can get away with this behavior, keep their job and still get paid? I have been trying to get a package that should have been delivered to my house, but was instead diverted to this office. I spent over an hour trying to pick it up, only to be told it had been put on a truck and was out for delivery. When my mail was delivered, the package was not there and the tracking still shows it as at this post office. I called the office to try and find out what is going on and have been on hold ever since. Terrible service, shame on them. read more

I walk in with a face mask on and I ask for a pen. Immediately the Asian coworker jokes on the side with her African American coworker 'oh she's sick ' and continues to gossip. Then she proceeds to joke and be funny , 'it's break time for me it's break time', they all start laughing. Then , one of the male coworkers sneezes and the African American coworker and Asian coworker begin to joke about me being sick telling the male coworker oh you're getting sick because of her. My package gets handled by the African American coworker and I tell her, 'you know I wore this to protect y'all because the person who didn't wear it got me sick. Now I didnt have to wear this but I did' HOW RUDE. These ladies are in their 50s acting like they are a damn high schooler. I overhear their convos when I go in about their daughters getting married etc. GROW UP AND QUIT MAKING FUN OF THE CUSTOMERS IN FRONT OF THEIR FACES. Karmas a bitch. Last week our friendly USPS mail carrier out of the Richmond office left us a little more than just mail. He got sick in one of the USPS letter totes and left the whole mess in the middle of the street right in front of our home. When I went to the post office to complain and request a new carrier i was told there was not much they could do because these guys bid on the routes and are contractors. I told them they should prosecute for misuse of government property and littering if nothing else. I will refrain from posting the images of the incident. The package drop is always blocked because they're lazy about emptying the bin behind it when it's full and things get stuck. I had to drop off packages twice today in the morning and afternoon and both times I had to wait in line despite doing my postage online so I could just drop it in the bin. It's been a problem as long as I've lived here. The counter employees don't care and have an "uh huh whatever" attitude about it. What is the point of having a self service kiosk and package drop if you can never use them? Are you really happier with me adding to the long than asking the back room employees to keep the dang bin clear? read more

They are putting a note on packages that it is on hold at Richmond post office as per customer request, which I never ever did. You guys should be shameful of your lies and unprofessional services. If you are living on either coast I would not recommend sending anything through this post office. I recently sent a package it got to the Richmond PO within a day or two. On April 6 2017 it was "out for delivery" according to tracking. On the same day it changed to "delayed in delivery" As of April 12 it is STILL "delayed in delivery" the person I sent it to has not received it yet. I will have to resend the package but will finding other ways of getting it there rather than through the Richmond PO. read more

I would give it a ZERO if possible! The worst post office in America.I have dealt with this unbelievable PO for eighteen years and four homes in their area. Employees(carriers) were fired ( I know that is hard to believe) for being stupid! They delivered soaking wet mail. Lost checks, lost bills, they delivered mail belonging to other residences. The latest. I moved from Long Meadow Farms in June 2021 to Fulshear Tx but kept the cursed 77406 Richmond Post Office. They cannot forward my mail for some reason. I have the consumer affairs person for the USPS Sonya Mackey after contacting the Post Master General. She has been of little help. Who ever is in charge (manager) at the PO is brain dead and so are most of his carriers. The latest a neighbor that lives one street over (just moved in) same number address but the wrong street found 12 pieces of my mail which was mailed in August 2021. They lose (5) five billion) a year. I want a drone to deliver my mail. One other thing the employees at this PO are extremely rude and have a very bad DUDE. read more
