Terrible service. Moved to Rosenberg almost 3 weeks ago. Changed address several weeks ago. I have online notifications of mail to be delivered. My mail is NOT being delivered! We have important mail that we need. Was told by contractor that others in our subdivision have complained about not receiving their mail or mail is being placed in the wrong boxes! Very unprofessional! Post office needs to do better, hire staff that can do quality work and who take extra measures to make sure mail is delivered and delivered to the right box! Have gone to post office to complain. Waiting on call from person who delivers mail in our section. If not, back to post office to make a complaint with the supervisor. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. First, I was rudely berated by a different post office that I needed to go to my correct post office. I was not sure why this was a thing so I googled it and people were saying that you should go to your designated post office that handles your zip code so that that office gets credit for all the packages they scan. Okay, I want them to get credit so I do that despite "my post office" being 32 minutes from my house. Well I go in to take my packages and I have one package that is too large for the drop box so I take it to the counter and set it there (a common practice for those who have already printed their labels and attached them -that I have observed a million times at various post offices). All the worker has to do is scan the package whenever they get a chance. As I set it on the counter, the lady stares me down and glares at me, so I just say I am just dropping off a package. Mind you, it's taped, label is on, all she has to do is scan it. She says "Okay well I was helping this lady" and ROLLS HER EYES. I DO NOT NEED HELP I have already done almost everything I taped the box, I printed the label and attached it, again whenever she gets a chance all she needs to do is scan it. There is no point in me waiting in line and if I did I am sure she would be mad about that too because I swear a prerequisite to being a USPS worker is having a horrible attitude and just being pissed all the time about everything. It seems like no matter what you can not make these people happy. I am just so tired of using their services and being treated like I am the biggest inconvenience and like I have ruined their entire lives by walking into their establishment. read more

Outgoing mail sits in mailbox for 4 days, no pick up. Constantly getting neighbor's mail. I have put mail in the drive through mailbox that people NEVER receive. I don't know if the just throw the mail away or if the mailbox is being compromised, but please, don't ever use it. I have also had a package mark delivered in my locked home mailbox and it was not there when I went to get it. I think I will have to buy an ups mailbox. read more

Literally the worst post office in the world is in Richmond, Texas. Package takes weeks to get to you letters never show up. Rude and dismissive as hell.. went in bc of package delivery issues as my address needed to be updated, but the site keeps declining every single one of my card info, so I go into the place because I don't have my tracking number and just wanted help finding that so I can just get my damn package. I walk up and say "i need to pick up a package, but-" and cuts me off and tells me the pick up line was "over there" with no sign that says pick up packages, only passport photo taking in which that line was long, there was no other line. I am signed up to receive email notifications of all mail being delivered yet the letters remain floating in space. Same with several packages that come up lost. I have been to this location numerous times and yes, they are very busy. They have always been helpful. I have to leave a glowing comment on Xavier. He was very helpful at the post office and came to make sure that my lock was installed at my new residence mailbox and that I received my keys. This was truly something that was unexpected. I've had items shipped on 1/9 & 1/10 and today is 1/22 and all the info site says is arriving late...I've had issue with this PO ever since I moved here. Richmond PO is the worst by far. I've been in the service industry over 40 yrs, so I Do keep in mind "having a bad day" or difficulties with a department being poorly ran by say a manager and having to adjust to a poor work condition. Having said that the only consistency of this location is the poor treatment of its customers. Is being an employee of an independent agency of executive branch of the United States federal government getting payed $17- $45 (usps handler) post master ( $81.000 average) SUCH a Terrible job that you treat 'the people' with such disdain and hatred for using your facility for the very reasons it was established for !!? I went to pick up mail keys at this post office located in the middle of Richmond city. Even though there were post offices closer to my residence, this 10 miles away location was the only location that could issue keys and assign mail box for my zip code. The office was not busy and there was a dedicated window to pick up mail keys. The masked lady that helped me was friendly and quick. Six feet distance was strictly enforced. read more

The worst post office in the area. I do daily shipping, just need to drop off items at the post office. This post office consistently has overflowing or locked mail bins. Here is the kicker, you can wait in the main line and try and drop off a package, but they won't take it. They instead tell you to wait in line at the door for package pick up notices, which takes on average about 30 minutes. You can't make this stuff up. This post office is run horribly and staffed with miserable human beings. I've decided to go out of my way henceforth and use the post office in Sugarland instead. Absolutely the most negative review I can possibly give, and it leaves no question to why the USPS is failing as a business. read more

Oh my gosh!!! My fiancé and I just moved to a new house and needed to get the key from the post office. Went Wednesday and we're told that although online it says they close at 5:00 that we'd have to wait because they "have to shut everything down at 4:45 and the only thing that is technically open is the door"!!! Make it make sense! If you close at 5:00 you close at 5:00 not 4:45 just because you don't want to complete your shift. Went back today to get the key and they gave us the wrong key! We've called 3 times to get the key back and NO ONE answers the phone! Absolutely ridiculous! It is very unfortunate that it takes all that just to get our mail. And to the older black woman who lied and claimed they close early you should be ashamed of yourself. People work and sometimes that's the only time people can get off to get their mail. This location is one of the worst ever! Every time i go service is super slow and no one seems to care. Their self-serve postal machine is always broken or having issues. If this was working, it would help out a lot with quick transactions! You would think a location this big would have at least a working stamp machine. Many times we wait in long line to buy stamps when other customers in front have bigger, larger transactions. A stamp machine would really help speed up the service. But honestly we feel that no one even cares and they do t appreciate our business. I went online a little more than a month ago and put in a change of address. Three weeks ago I went to the Richnond Post Office and paid $25.00 for a new lock and key for my new mail box. On March 1, I went to the post office in person and was inquiring about my mail and the key to the new box. Not only did they say I had no mail, they didn't know anything about the key that I am needing to get my prescriptions by mail. I ask for a supervisor, the door clerk went behind the door and I could hear some loud conversation, she came back out and said the supervisor would not come to the door and to leave my phone number. Totally nonchalant and defensive attitude. I will be inquiring with the Inspector General about why this post office is run like this, and why I still cannot get my key. I can't lie both post offices in the Richmond Rosenberg are in poor condition, however the employees at the Richmond location has always been friendly. They try to get you out as fast as they can . Just left this location with terrible experiences. I was mailing a document to the other state. The clerk, Natalie (08) was very impatient and told me the overnight mail is $26 if I want or no, I asked anything less expensive. She said just a dollar without giving me any options in between. I paid and left but feeling it must be some other options in between so I swung by asking why she didn't give me the options. She said you say CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. I never used the word 'cheap'( this is absolutely not my word choice) An Asian USPS worker is not authorized to overrule another Asian in the name of United States of America. She was prepossessed with the notion of her own superiority and violated my civil rights! I sent out my first batch of wedding invitations 2 weeks ago at a different post office in Houston, and they charged me $.20 something cents per invitation. $1.50 to Canada. This post office charged me $3.50 per invitation to send them out DOMESTICALLY.
