I haven't had an issue with this post office since I moved here two years ago, however, I mailed 20 college graduation announcements 11 days ago and nobody local or out-of-state has received them. My graduation is Saturday.. I'm 46 and this is really sad as I am so proud of my accomplishment and the RSVP date passed yesterday. read more

Crappy service and rude workers. "Misty" annoyingly screams "Welcome to Richmond" to everyone who opens the door (even when standing in front of her while she is supposedly helping you). And there is nothing "welcoming" about it! Hate to go to this PO. Will drive farther or use UPS to just not have to go there! read more

Lazy POS's work at this location! The only useful people are the people that work in the back. Everyone at the front desk is use less.

Worst coustmer service ever The sent us to the blue door where nobody was working for 10 minutes then sent us back in to line and didn't even try to look up the tracking number on the computer they have no clue what they are doing read more

Terrible service. Moved to Rosenberg almost 3 weeks ago. Changed address several weeks ago. I have online notifications of mail to be delivered. My mail is NOT being delivered! We have important mail that we need. Was told by contractor that others in our subdivision have complained about not receiving their mail or mail is being placed in the wrong boxes! Very unprofessional! Post office needs to do better, hire staff that can do quality work and who take extra measures to make sure mail is delivered and delivered to the right box! Have gone to post office to complain. Waiting on call from person who delivers mail in our section. If not, back to post office to make a complaint with the supervisor. read more

worst usps terrible service and self kiosk labels almost never work and takes 2-3 weeks to get it working again

It was time to get my mail. I never have to worry about packages being taken. I get all my mail and packages. Ten stars.

Worst post office ever. Worst mail carriers ever. Nothing ever get delivered. When I go to the post office they can never ever find my mail. Do yourself a favor and just don't go here read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. First, I was rudely berated by a different post office that I needed to go to my correct post office. I was not sure why this was a thing so I googled it and people were saying that you should go to your designated post office that handles your zip code so that that office gets credit for all the packages they scan. Okay, I want them to get credit so I do that despite "my post office" being 32 minutes from my house. Well I go in to take my packages and I have one package that is too large for the drop box so I take it to the counter and set it there (a common practice for those who have already printed their labels and attached them -that I have observed a million times at various post offices). All the worker has to do is scan the package whenever they get a chance. As I set it on the counter, the lady stares me down and glares at me, so I just say I am just dropping off a package. Mind you, it's taped, label is on, all she has to do is scan it. She says "Okay well I was helping this lady" and ROLLS HER EYES. I DO NOT NEED HELP I have already done almost everything I taped the box, I printed the label and attached it, again whenever she gets a chance all she needs to do is scan it. There is no point in me waiting in line and if I did I am sure she would be mad about that too because I swear a prerequisite to being a USPS worker is having a horrible attitude and just being pissed all the time about everything. It seems like no matter what you can not make these people happy. I am just so tired of using their services and being treated like I am the biggest inconvenience and like I have ruined their entire lives by walking into their establishment. read more

Horrible customer service, all those workers literally trash talk about customers on the loud especially NATALIE who was supposed to help me was extremely rude she seriously need to be fired she was dismissive on what i needed and very rude read more

Outgoing mail sits in mailbox for 4 days, no pick up. Constantly getting neighbor's mail. Its Christmas time, so i expect to see lots of christmas cards with the edges worn off so the picky fingers in the Richmond, Texas post office that have already seen several indictments for mail theft, is at it again. Ive never seen this level of incompetence in all my life, and there is no recourse. No agency to call, just that ridiculous robo-voice support system that does nothing. Not getting my mail, mail is not going out, getting the neighbors mail.. This is extremely clear to me why it is happening,, the manager at that location is a DEI hire and completely useless. read more

DO NOT USE THE DRIVE THRU MAILBOX, it seems that they never pick up. Every single time I have dropped off checks there, they never get delivered. I been giving them many chances. And still same issue since few years now. read more

Lost my small package. Manager said he would look into and call us. It's been over 30 days- no communication.

The staff at this USPS location are absolutely rude, and they clearly they don't care, and are not at all interested about providing the worst customer service they show customers. They are only there to collect a pay check. USPS needs to open another location and retire the staff at this location. read more

I have put mail in the drive through mailbox that people NEVER receive. I don't know if the just throw the mail away or if the mailbox is being compromised, but please, don't ever use it. I have also had a package mark delivered in my locked home mailbox and it was not there when I went to get it. I think I will have to buy an ups mailbox. read more

Literally the worst post office in the world is in Richmond, Texas. Package takes weeks to get to you letters never show up. The postal employees don't even care and no pride working for the US post office. If I could give him a zero, I would. I wish someone would do something about this. read more

Rude and dismissive as hell.. went in bc of package delivery issues as my address needed to be updated, but the site keeps declining every single one of my card info, so I go into the place because I don't have my tracking number and just wanted help finding that so I can just get my damn package. I walk up and say "i need to pick up a package, but-" and cuts me off and tells me the pick up line was "over there" with no sign that says pick up packages, only passport photo taking in which that line was long, there was no other line. Dude didn't even let me finish what I had to say before interrupting me and dismissing the help I needed. He has twists and they're shoulder length. Rude as hell. Go anywhere else read more

my mail has been tampered with and Im not getting it delivered in a timely manner according to their email notifications

I have a package there that was to be returned to me. It has been 14 days now and it's just sitting there. There is no reason for this,, how hard can it be to send it back to me. I try calling all day at different times and no one answers phone, this is crazy. You would think with all the bad reviews something would be done. Janet Taylor. read more

This post office truly sucks! I have a kid in the military and their letters keep getting "lost." I am signed up to receive email notifications of all mail being delivered yet the letters remain floating in space. Same with several packages that come up lost. I switched to UPS for packages but now I cant even send a letter thru the local post office. Customer service just tells you, "well hopefully it shows up." Are you kidding me? read more

It took me 5 moths to get a set of mailbox keys when I bought my home. 5 months that's one e a week 25 min from home. Every time I went they lied to my face saying the person who changes the locks is on vacation or I'll make sure I tell them. 5 months later same thing. I'm in line right now waiting to speak with the manager because I'm Tired of the rude attitude and lies. side note if you hate your job get another one. No I pick this job path but you. read more

I have been to this location numerous times and yes, they are very busy. They have always been helpful. I have to leave a glowing comment on Xavier. He was very helpful at the post office and came to make sure that my lock was installed at my new residence mailbox and that I received my keys. This was truly something that was unexpected. He went over and beyond to help me. He is a valuable employee that the USPS should be proud of. Thank you Xavier! This location is 5560 FM 1640 RD RICHMOND, TX 77469-9998 read more

This isn't the first time, but now the PO is 10 days late on domestic mail. I've had items shipped on 1/9 & 1/10 and today is 1/22 and all the info site says is arriving late...I've had issue with this PO ever since I moved here. Richmond PO is the worst by far. They just don't care or bother to show up for work. I've called numerous times and no one can give an answer. I'm moving out of this city 99% because of the post office. They do have individuals who are cool and helpful, but the back office folks who sort they suck and the mail when it does come will arrive about 5PM which is ridiculous!!!! read more

I've been in the service industry over 40 yrs, so I Do keep in mind "having a bad day" or difficulties with a department being poorly ran by say a manager and having to adjust to a poor work condition. Having said that the only consistency of this location is the poor treatment of its customers. Is being an employee of an independent agency of executive branch of the United States federal government getting payed $17- $45 (usps handler) post master ( $81.000 average) SUCH a Terrible job that you treat 'the people' with such disdain and hatred for using your facility for the very reasons it was established for !!? Mail service I would like to edit my comment by adding there does seem to be one gem among this mix and his name is mike... the gentleman at the service window, he is pleasant, Helpful and kind. God Bless Him I don't know how he does it ! Those woman though.... whew read more

I went to pick up mail keys at this post office located in the middle of Richmond city. Even though there were post offices closer to my residence, this 10 miles away location was the only location that could issue keys and assign mail box for my zip code. The office was not busy and there was a dedicated window to pick up mail keys. The masked lady that helped me was friendly and quick. Six feet distance was strictly enforced. read more

US Post Office - Post Offices Near Me - Richmond, Texas

At this point no one should be surprised of the rating. When mail carriers are too lazy to bring an occasional package to the door it's a problem. Stuffing a box in a standard size residential mailbox is just plain dumb. I could go on but I'm sure those who have to receive their mail from this location can all relate. read more

The worst post office in the area. I do daily shipping, just need to drop off items at the post office. This post office consistently has overflowing or locked mail bins. Here is the kicker, you can wait in the main line and try and drop off a package, but they won't take it. They instead tell you to wait in line at the door for package pick up notices, which takes on average about 30 minutes. You can't make this stuff up. This post office is run horribly and staffed with miserable human beings. I've decided to go out of my way henceforth and use the post office in Sugarland instead. Absolutely the most negative review I can possibly give, and it leaves no question to why the USPS is failing as a business. read more

this is quite possibly one of the worst post offices. the package drop off has been "broken" for months now which means having to drop it off via standing in the longest line possible. the staff is slower than a sloth. their is no efficiency whatsoever. read more

Oh my gosh!!! My fiancé and I just moved to a new house and needed to get the key from the post office. Went Wednesday and we're told that although online it says they close at 5:00 that we'd have to wait because they "have to shut everything down at 4:45 and the only thing that is technically open is the door"!!! Make it make sense! If you close at 5:00 you close at 5:00 not 4:45 just because you don't want to complete your shift. Went back today to get the key and they gave us the wrong key! We've called 3 times to get the key back and NO ONE answers the phone! Absolutely ridiculous! It is very unfortunate that it takes all that just to get our mail. And to the older black woman who lied and claimed they close early you should be ashamed of yourself. People work and sometimes that's the only time people can get off to get their mail. Shame on you for treating people this way. read more

the worst ever!!!! been waiting on my package for 3 weeks now smh. Still stuck in transit. I have my tracking number but it says by 1/8/24 now it's 1/22/24 still no updates read more

I went online a little more than a month ago and put in a change of address. Three weeks ago I went to the Richnond Post Office and paid $25.00 for a new lock and key for my new mail box. On March 1, I went to the post office in person and was inquiring about my mail and the key to the new box. Not only did they say I had no mail, they didn't know anything about the key that I am needing to get my prescriptions by mail. I ask for a supervisor, the door clerk went behind the door and I could hear some loud conversation, she came back out and said the supervisor would not come to the door and to leave my phone number. Totally nonchalant and defensive attitude. I will be inquiring with the Inspector General about why this post office is run like this, and why I still cannot get my key. I have been going to this post office for 40 years and nothing has changed. read more

This location is one of the worst ever! Every time i go service is super slow and no one seems to care. Their self-serve postal machine is always broken or having issues. If this was working, it would help out a lot with quick transactions! You would think a location this big would have at least a working stamp machine. Many times we wait in long line to buy stamps when other customers in front have bigger, larger transactions. A stamp machine would really help speed up the service. But honestly we feel that no one even cares and they do t appreciate our business. I Will always just try to avoid using the post office at all cost and use online payments as much as possible. read more

I can't lie both post offices in the Richmond Rosenberg are in poor condition, however the employees at the Richmond location has always been friendly. They try to get you out as fast as they can . It's so sad USPS can't remodel these facilities. I would hate to be in place that was so old, dirty, and ran down for such a long period of time read more

Service at the package pickup window is awful. Was there for 40 minutes. Woman at the window was very rude. I do not want to give this post office one star, but had to give it one, by the rules for posting a review. Definitely need more than one person at this window. Management must be bad, or have difficulty getting employees who know how to deal with the public. read more

Just left this location with terrible experiences. I was mailing a document to the other state. The clerk, Natalie (08) was very impatient and told me the overnight mail is $26 if I want or no, I asked anything less expensive. She said just a dollar without giving me any options in between. I paid and left but feeling it must be some other options in between so I swung by asking why she didn't give me the options. She said you say CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. I never used the word 'cheap'( this is absolutely not my word choice) An Asian USPS worker is not authorized to overrule another Asian in the name of United States of America. She was prepossessed with the notion of her own superiority and violated my civil rights! If she has mental issues, I understand then the question is why USPS put a mentally unstable employee behind the window. read more

Is it possible to give a zero star? I sent out my first batch of wedding invitations 2 weeks ago at a different post office in Houston, and they charged me $.20 something cents per invitation. $1.50 to Canada. This post office charged me $3.50 per invitation to send them out DOMESTICALLY. Ummm? why?I told the man that last time I sent them out, I was charged $.20 something cents and he looked at me like I was lying. He said they made a mistake by charging me that low. WHAT A RIP OFF.
