I've used this location for many different things - shipping, notary, printing, and as my home PO Box. The shop is always clean and tidy. And they have plenty of supplies, if you don't have your own. Mr. and Mrs. Patel are so helpful! They've gone above and beyond for me on several occasions - including helping me figure out how to nicely print some documents that I couldn't figure out at all. They often have a line in the store because they're the best and everyone goes to them! But no worries, they have a pretty efficient system and handle their customers really quickly. This location is extremely frustrating to deal with. Everything has to be perfect for them to accept a package. You're required to pay for tape, use a specific box, and follow rules that other UPS Stores don't enforce. I tried to return a package using the same box it was originally delivered in, and they still refused to accept it. No clear explanation, just constant pushback and upselling. This does not feel like a standard UPS Store at all. It feels more like a family-run franchise making up their own rules rather than following UPS return policies. If they deny your return, go to another UPS Store. I did, and the other location accepted the exact same box without any issue. This place is an absolute rip off. I usually don't post reviews but the people must know. Brought my package in to be returned to Amazon already boxed up the only thing I didn't do was tape the box down and that's only because I didn't have any tape and in the past when I have had to send something back at other ups store the worker just did it so I thought the same courtesy would be applied here WRONG! When I took my package in the owner assisted me I handed him my package along with the printed barcode as the instructions instructed me to and right off the bat he told me that the box I had it packaged in wasn't going to work because the content in the box was lose and it would move around. Side note this was the original box it was sent to me in. After explaining to him that this was the original box the package came in he then ask if he could fix it for me I ask how could it be fix and he said he would add some bubble wrap and packaging stuffing in the box. I said no thank you I'm not trying to pay anything extra he then said he wouldn't be able to send it if he couldn't fix it. I explained to him that I felt that was crazy and I would just take it to another ups store because clearly he was trying to make a sale. I ask for a corporate number I could call to make a complaint he then said well I will send it for me but he would need to tape it down I said ok then he said I would have to charge you for that I ask how much he said $2.80 cents. I said for 1 small piece of tape. I politely declined grab my box and walked out. As I was walking out I overheard the other guy in the there tell this elderly lady that he couldn't scan her barcode through the phone and she would have to go email it to the store and have them print it off and charge her 2 dollars. I called to check on a package that was supposed to get delivered there and the lady that answered the phone just told me she couldn't help me unless I was there in person. The absolutely rudest stuff I've ever been to, I do everything I can to avoid coming here, but the Stafford shipping center is extremely inconvenient to get to. I came in and tried to do a prepaid return level from Amazon. Amazon said that all I had to do was bring in my package wrapped and labeled and they would take it as a drop off. Anytime I try to use this location they have a list of excuses why they can't take my package, saying it has the wrong tape and they will charge a $1.00 to retape when it should be free. They scam and charge you for free items. I have complained about 4 or 5 times to the UPS home office and they say that this is a franchise and they can do nothing about the rudeness of the staff. But in my opinion if they are using the UPS logo and name you should be able to complain about them to UPS and have them do something about it. I love this UPS store, they've made incredible advances for my business. They're very respectful. Their staff is amazing. I've never had an issue with any of my packages being scanned or delivered on time and they've always processed everything as fast as they can. This is a hotspot in the area so the store will be busier than normal locations. That being said the service is insurmountable I really appreciate everything they've done for me and my business. My husband and I were moving from Fl to Tx, the cost to ship a 40 pound box was over $110, when we were finally able to pick up our box after it it was absolutely destroyed. Nope No interest in helping me even for an additional charge. They are a packaging company for heaven sake. I was happy to find out the Postal Plus on the other side of Town Centre is now an authorized UPS agent--he always takes care of me in that store and was happy to assist! I had a package I dropped off one evening but realized the next day I needed to stop the delivery. The absolute worst UPS store to ever go to. How this has a 5 star rating is beyond me. They charged my wife $73 to ship 1 small package. When I found that out I went down there and got my package back. They did refund the money and gave me my package back. I went to another UPS store the one near Clancy's and they charged me less then $20 to ship the exact same package. I do not know what all they had on her bill but just the shipping charges alone 53 vs 20 , they also said they had to package it to insure the package. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! I noticed in the reviews other people complaining about the owners raising their voices on customers and I'm not surprised at all. I came in to return an Amazon package and the woman in the store which I assume is the wife of the owner started yelling at me that my package won't fit in the box they have. She literally created a scene till her husband stepped in who sounded equally annoyed and not helpful. They were extremely rude and very unprofessional. I had a great experience here recently. I priced a print job online and the owner of this location matched it. I went and bought special paper to print on. He personally managed the entire process to make sure it came out right. He gave me advice on the right paper to buy, an helped me box it up to be presentable for my customer. Everyone that walked in, the owner spoke to like they were long time friends and customers. Even though this is a franchise, the experience was really like working with a small business. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. Their pricing is 60% cheaper than Office Depot in the same parking lot. The service is way better and my experience was much faster I printed hundreds of copies and the entire process took about 30min. I will definitely use this place again. The staff here is friendly and professional. I understand that lines form, and people get impatient. This would be reduced if people came prepared as much as they can. Have the amazon return code pulled up on your phone. Don't sit on your phone at the counter trying to get a shipping address. Try to do all of this before you get to the counter. I have used this location in the past to send packages. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful. Today I went in because my wife and I were having problems calling UPS to correct an address error so the delivery could be deleted. The website told us to call the 800 number. The 800 number would not connect us with a live person or give us a way to make the correction. Although this had nothing to do with him, Mr. Patel took the time and effort to reach an actual person for me (although it wasn't quick and easy for him either) which enabled to to resolve the problem. I could have been told that this was an issue that I had to handle on my own but I wasn't. This is how you treat customers that come into your place of business. This is service that goes above and beyond. This is concern and helpfulness that is so lacking from many businesses today. I will continue to come here for my shipping needs. Well, first of all I love this stores location, easy in n out and the guy in there is awesome. I am an artist & sell my paintings on line and some of them are huge. When he could NOT find a box that large, he said hang on a minute and went in the back. He came back with two large boxes and then tried to put them together and it worked)))) For the amount of time, material, tape and whatever, all he charged me besides the shipping was $22!!!! That is incredible. BTW sir, sorry I should have asked for your name but I wish to thank you and will come over personally cause my package reached New York, as scheduled and not a dent.
