The way USPS works is the locations will get more funding and justification to stay open the more items that they intake. It may be a short line but you can be there for 20 minutes with only 3 people in line. 3. Once you see the line you realize how unimportant your package or mail is. (eh, I'll pick up my package some other time) Now, understanding that the post office will be slow. I volunteered to go with the Boyfriend and do his errands. I'm pretty patient when it comes to lines -especially when I have no place to be at a certain time. The Boyfriend how ever is incredibly impatient when it comes to lines. Within 2-3 minutes standing there and listening in on some of the people's concerns and questions at each station, he realizes it was going to be a long long wait.
