People that expect them to tape up their packages for free are living in a pipe dream. Most post offices do have supplies but they are available for purchase. (The cost of being unprepared) I went around 2 today and they had about 4 people ahead of me in line. Although there was only one woman working, the line moved quickly. I had prepaid packages so I'm generally in and out. The woman working was pleasant as well. It's not a huge post office but it does it's job.

However, this is one post office that I don't mind going to. John, the counter clerk, is always courteous and friendly. On this particular trip, he also saved me a great deal of cash. I was shipping a dress to Quebec, Canada via box (the only thing I had since I usually ship flat rate) when John informed me that it would cost $32 and there would be a more cost effective way (since the item was so light). So he pulled out a manila shipping mailer and sure enough it fit! In a matter of seconds, he reduced my bill from a possibly $32 to a mere $5.60! It's no wonder that people come from other areas (mostly Norristown and KOP) for the service John provides. Top notch!

The lines here move quickly even when it has around 5 people. It never gets too long though. The staff here is just fantastic, compared to some other post office locations. For example, one time during the rare occasion that I actually had to mail a package, I ran late. The store was closed, but the staff members were kind and courteous and told me that they would be fine taking it to the truck, which just arrived. That is some of the best customer service that I have ever received.
