As expected from USPS, the employees are rude, slow, lazy, arrogant, and entitled. But USPS still trumps all other common carriers for reliability, security, timeliness, and value, at least in my extensive experience. I am still a big fan of registered mail due its security but one such shipment recently sent took nearly five months to travel 20 miles, from the top of 19116 to the bottom of 18938. Yes, nearly five months! But all registered mail sent from this post office arrived in 13 days or less. Go for it!

This post office is the closest to me so I usually come here, but just to mail letters. While this…read morepost office is small, on the older side (does not have self checkout) it has some of the best staff around. They have a small amount of check out booths, but they make due. The lines here move quickly even when it has around 5 people. It never gets too long though. The staff here is just fantastic, compared to some other post office locations. For example, one time during the rare occasion that I actually had to mail a package, I ran late. The store was closed, but the staff members were kind and courteous and told me that they would be fine taking it to the truck, which just arrived. That is some of the best customer service that I have ever received.

Most probably do not even need Real IDs because they have passports. This is ridiculous. There should be a system where if you are not getting a Real ID, you go to the front of the line. The bottom line is the bureaucracy is uncaring and I hate coming here every 4 years. Stay far away if you can.
