Always a super long line sometimes twenty minutes long because staff are incapable of going any faster than a snail. They ship packages out and mess it all up. They constantly are going back and forth from the back of the post office without reason. When they mess up they will just walk away because they have no patience. I needed to get my son's passport application processed before he went back to college, and called and found there were walk-in hours at the Lansdale post office. The woman there was so helpful; she got my son's passport application completed quickly and then handled my renewal as well (even though I could have just mailed mine in myself). She was cheerful, efficient and helpful and made sure that all my questions were answered. She made a potentially stressful appointment so easy! One tip for other passport applicants -- you need to pay the passport fee by check or money order. read more

The attendant there today was impatient while I was asking questions about passport cards. He complained to his coworker loudly and said he didnt want to help me understand the process of obtaining the card. The female coworker came out and unprofessionally and and proceeded to give out inaccurate information and totalopposite of what he explain to me. Neither one had name tags on and neither one were pleasant. they were goofing off n the back and laughing while there was along line in the front. I perosnally had asked him first if he was someone that could help but his attitude was very sourpuss and rude. If you can't work with the public please go somewhere else to be a jerkoff. read more

Incompetent staff. Waited 10 minutes in line while cashier went back and forth with pricing on another customer's mail while he stood at the counter deciding. In my turn, I asked for 1 piece of tape to secure a medium priority box that was already labeled, and had to return to the back of line. It took me 10 seconds to add the tape and she could have started processing the address in the meantime smh. read more

You get an email that your package is at the post office.....you go to the post office and they tell you that "that always happens it'll come eventually." Worst customer service and very unfriendly. i have lived all over the united states. this post office is by far the worst post office i have ever had the misfortune to have had to use. going there is pointless and our mail never makes it when it's supposed to. packages get to lansdale and get list of days and weeks. or even better it was out for delivery and then i get a text saying it's available for pickup. i guess the mail person just didn't feel like delivering the mail so they brought it back. like all things government they provide minimal service and can't be replaced. they have no motivation to even do their job. never mind doing it right or dare i say doing it well. i recommend having a mailing address somewhere else. read more

Had to reschedule a passport appointment because I did not have my application filled out when I arrived. I returned to the Lansdale Post Office because my mother received excellent customer service. During that time, a gentleman and my mom completed her application while am she was present because he stated that is best practice and he can confirm the person (adult) in front of him is the person the passport is for. Customer Service is not how it used to be and it is a shame. In my career field, I have to give great service so I know what it looks like, sounds like, and feels like. Unfortunately, I will not return and I do not recommend this office. read more

They always mess up my mail and my neighbors mail. Sometimes my mail is months late. My cousin sent me a xmas card and I did not receive it until Feb. It was post marked for Dec 17th. Today I received all of my neighbor's mail but none of mine. Also, my mail comes in horrible shape. Someone sent me a check via mail and the mail was soaked and the ink ran. Absolutely terrible and I avoid unless I have direct business as they service my address. SIX MONTHS to replace a broken key lock on a shared mailbox. Four different people told me four different ways to handle it. Finally thought I made leeway and went to counter to be told I needed to bring my mortgage. My original mortgage. My multiple government ID's and bills (which I was told to bring) were not good enough. My partner walked right back inside, asked for someone else, called me from inside, got my DL number, gave it to them and the order was processed. I wasn't even present. WTH???? read more

If I could give a 0 I would! Lansdale post office is the worst and that's coming from someone who lived in the city. The mail is a hit or miss if you get it or not. They make up excuses when tracking your package saying it's out for delivery and then at the time it's suppose to be delivered OH WAIT! we can't access the delivery location! WHAT!! It's a mail box you been driving to for the past 30 years! It's like no one wants to do there job right. We have a business in Lansdale. For some reason our mail carrier does not pick up our out going mail only if he has mail for us. He just walks by. I have called multiple times complaining about this. They tell me they will talk to him. I see him walk by ear buds in, talking away on his phone. You may want to pay attention and pick up the mail. I don't mind driving it over to the post office but he walks right by our office. I phoned the post office 4 times today and let it ring and they pick up and hang up. This is why my husband refuses to use Lansdale Post Office. No customer service. read more

legitimately THE WORST. We moved into the Boro in early March and I've never had so many issues with my mail. We don't receive mail for days at a time only for a neighbor to wander over with a huge stack of mail misdelivered to their address instead. I've had packages taken or stolen because they were delivered to the wrong place. We also receive other people's mail and have to go around finding if the person even still lives there. I've made several complaints and they told me to pay for a PO Box if I want my mail on time. Absolutely incapable of doing their jobs accurately or even at all. Utter nonsense. read more

I mailed letters out to all my students across Montgomery county. They all contained the same things; a motivational quote, note, a lollipop. I personally weighed each one to ensure it was under 1oz. This post office was the ONLY one to RETURN them and damage the envelopes in the process. These were supposed to be my way of supporting students during this difficult time. Horrible service I've been standing in line for almost 30 minutes just to ship out one small package!!!!!! When I walked in their was only 10 people in front of me and then 5 more came in after me and the line wasn't moving. Their was three employees behind the counter and only one working! Since it is Saturday afternoon this is the only post office in town that still open but still the two other employees could've at least opened up one extra line. Not trying to be impatient but 30 minutes to ship one small item is unacceptable. Now I know for the future to ship items out on Friday and never come back to this post office ever again. wish i could give this ZERO stars. today, i brought in mail. the girl at the desk (12/20 @3:45) looked at my mail and said "you can go to UPS if you want to deliver that" with an attitude. so i politely asked if she knew where is the closest one because i'm new to the area. she rolled her eyes and said "why don't you just look it up on your phone".... such a MISERABLE worker. other customers in the store were taken back as well, and quickly chimed in to help direct me. the whole time she was mumbling under her breath and rolling her eyes. Waited for people who hadn't prepared packages to prepare while people waited in line instead of asking them to step back in line when packages were ready. No sept serve option either. Wow. I thought I was the only one that had an issue with this post office. From the previous reviews it seems like I am among the many. Horrible customer service. Very slow. They also will try to rip you off if you have a P.O. BOX through them. I would say try the post office in North Wales but they aren't much better. They always give me a mix of my mail and my neighbors mail. I'll give my neighbors their mail that's in mine but I have no way of knowing if important letters I'm waiting on have arrived at someone else's door and I'm not going to get them because my neighbors has them and doesn't think to give them to me. Post offices should put the right mail to the right place. Mistakes now and then happen but his is EVERY SINGLE TIME. Please fire the sorter and get one that can do it right. read more

The mail has gone from arriving at 2:00 to 7:00. I called asking about it and they said they just can't keep up with all the Christmas packages. This is true as 2 of my packages were marked as delivered but we never got them. We have gotten packages for other people that live on the next block so maybe someone else has my daughter's birthday presents. read more

I asked if I could pick up mail that was on hold and the lady behind the desk rolled her eyes and said "there ain't nothing here". Well how would you know that without checking? I asked her nicely if she could check because my husband put our stuff on hold. She AGAIN rolled her eyes and walked at a snails pace to the back room then came back and just starred at me.. didn't say anything. If you can't be nice for a customer just asking a simple question then why are you even employed. Your job is to look things up for a customer, do it with a smile for Christ sake. While my mail was to be forwarded from Lansdale to my Florida address, my real estate tax bill and my sewer rental bill from Towamencin were marked by the Lansdale Post Office as "Temporarily Away" and were returned to the township office. As a result I never received these bills and had to pay penalties! There is NO excuse for this mishandling by the Lansdale Post Office! Meanwhile during that extended period other mail addressed to me was properly forwarded and received by me. What's going on here Postmaster?? Do I need to contact my Congressman? read more

I had constant issues with my mail when I lived about 10 minutes away in Blue Bell, ever since I've moved to the Lansdale zip code it's been WONDERFUL! I'll admit I've never been to their physical location but they are pleasant and go above and beyond on the phone. I requested to get my mail delivered to my door due to a temporary disability--I had read online it was extremely difficult to get and would take weeks to have the change put in place. The woman I spoke to was very nice and made sure to let my mailman know immediately and within a day I had my mail at my front door! It is extremely rare that I get other people's mail or any mistakes are made. This is the best mail service I've ever had, thank you for going above and beyond :-) read more

The parking lot is a disaster! More than 13+ pot holes. You hit them coming into the lot, parking in a spot and then leaving. I wish they would do something about this. read more
