I'm a professional artist and have had many prints done over the years(mail order & print shops). I don't know how they do it, but I've never had prints done with colors as true to the digital source image as the ones I just got back from Giclee Today. Ordering was simple. Delivery was faster than expected. And the quality was exceptional. Even the packaging was thoughtfully done. The product had the feel of a high-end boutique printers, but with the convenience/low-price of a mass market/online store. I'm an artist and a regular customer of Giclee Today. I think I placed over 50 orders by now and I keep ordering. The quality is great, and the prices are reasonable. Production time is reasonable as well. When I need something rushed, there is an option to rush an order and they ship it the next day, which worked out for me well. However, the website is outdated and I wish it was more clear regarding shipping. You can only choose standard shipping, but you have to put a note somewhere if you want a shipping upgrade. Also, they never answer the phones. That's not good. Though, I do have to say, that when I did have concerning issues, I sent an email and got a quick response. The print looked like something I could print at home with a crappy printer with ink running out and the tray being dirty. Used to be good service. Not sure if they have new people working for them, their customer service seems super rigid these days, and feels like robots are responding. They won't do the combined shipping, due to the orders I had to do separately within a minute difference and needed them in one shipment but they won't budge. Also, their online photo editing tool is super limiting because I had to exclude the border on my painting, put in a request if they could do it on their end and they said no. So here now I am scissoring out the borders manually after I received my paintings, what a bummer. And for some weird reason, they won't accept CMYK picture uploads. I am vehemently looking for other alternatives, and would no longer recommend their service. read more

I have ordered prints from Giclee Today multiple times, and have always been fairly happy with the service and product. However, on my most recent order, I was incredibly disappointed not only by the product, but by the customer service, as well. Multiple of my prints had black ink splattered on them, and even more had black ink smudges across the backs. The colors were also much darker than the file I sent, to the point where you could not see important details. I emailed the company, explaining the problems and asking if there was a solution we could figure out. I was emailed back a cold, short response that did not at all address the specifics of my concerns and instead copy/pasted their info section on how to prepare files. I was told in subsequent short emails that I prepared my files incorrectly because they were not Adobe RGB or sRGB. I informed them that all my metadata says sRGB, and that I was super confused. They told me to open the file in photoshop, which isn't the program that I have and shouldn't be a prerequisite for ordering from their site. I got help and advice from a close friend who spent nearly a decade in professional art printing and, after checking my files and Giclee Today's responses, they said they were totally in the wrong and were probably trying to cover up a quality control error on their end. I emailed back, again respectfully trying to get a thoughtful and helpful response, and was talked to like I was annoying and stupid. I tried calling their offices, but no one picked up. When I told them via email that I probably would not order with them again because of the customer service, they deleted my account so I couldn't even go back to document the types of files I sent them as the continued to insist I messed them up. They agreed to refund two of the prints with ink on the front, but refused to even have any discussion about the coloring. I just kept receiving several cold, short 1-2 sentence emails in a row like I was in a text chat, not emailing a company. I bought 15 prints in this order and have paid this company hundreds of dollars. Even if this wasn't an issue they could fully refund, just being communicated with like I wasn't an idiot would have kept me as a customer. But whoever was on the other end refused to give me any common decency. From the beginning of my interaction with Giclee Today's customer service, it was hostile and seemed like my business was not valued at all, even though I am a repeat customer. I imagine my complaint will receive a similar response to other negative reviews, which seems to be totally gaslighting the consumer. I am super disappointed because as I said, if I had just been talked to politely, I would still be a customer. I am someone who will still give a big tip to a bad server because everyone has rough days, and I've done all kinds of customer service. It can really suck. But this was totally unacceptable. If a customer reaches out, try to find a solution with them. Don't talk to them like they are stupid and worthless. And be professional. These customer service emails seemed like they were from a jilted ex who wants to get around giving you your belongings back, not a company who according to the many emails, prints "over 20,000 prints a month". If I could give 0 stars I would. I have ordered from this company 12 times Going on 13 times now , this is the first time EVER I have needed to cancel an order and guess what ? I've called them multiple times no one answers it will go right to voicemail. I've emailed no email back. I finally got a call back after multiple calls and voicemails left to be told my order was already printed and I couldn't cancel the order! Now keep in mind I placed the order Friday the customer service line and email is only available Monday-Friday ! How am I to cancel when they are closed yet they were in the center printing them? Also keep in mind I've ordered from them before many times and you always get an email when they are being shipped I still have yet to get this email and in fact when you go online and type in my order number it shows it's still in process. Now if they had already printed a couple of this large order I'd be happy to pay for the difference but no they took the full amount and are unwilling to talk to me there is absolutely zero communication. I will never be ordering from them again and will never recommend using them. I'll definitely be finding a new company. Not happy at all. From reading some of these other reviews, it seems like my incident with a rude email from them is not an isolated incident. After 8 business day and my order still in production mode, I sent them the following email, then read their reply below it. Yes there was a question about one of my prints, to which I replied immediately since I was in front of my computer when the email came in. I basically told them to go ahead and print as is, I just wanted to the see the quality of their printing before committing to work with them. My Email Hello, I need to know what's up with my order, number XXXXXX, placed on XX/XX/2023. It's still stuck in "In Progress" status, and it's been 8 business days. When is this going to ship? I ordered these items to check your product quality before committing to using your company for my online print store. Quality matters a lot to me, but this long wait is making me rethink things. Tell me what's happening, and if it's going to be much longer, just cancel the order and give me a refund. Awaiting your quick response. They blamed me for a 'bad image file' and refuse to give any refund or reprint. i've tried to reconcile by asking for reprints and paying extra for shipping but they refuse. not only did they refuse a refund, they villainized me, misquoted me, and talked down to me in our email exchanges. do not buy from this company period. as a professional artist who makes their livelihood on prints like this its a slap in the face and a total disgrace to the industry. get your prints made anywhere BUT here. period. bad quality and even worse service. read more

I have no issue with the quality of the prints. The one test I did in late November 2022 took 14 calendar days to get to me (10 business days). Status was changed to 'shipped' within a day or two but their delivery process needs much improvement. Their "mail innovations" vendor had the package ping-ponging all over a tri-state area. As I write this, I'm waiting for my 2nd 'test' which was done with hopes of better delivery outcome. Today is the 8th business day and I'm still waiting. First class USPS mail would have already reached me by now..... and likely to have cost them less than the $7.50 I paid. Good quality and competitive prices. Perfect for personal use. For drop shipping, their wait times are too unpredictable. Sometimes it's 4 days sometimes it's 10. They cover themselves for this possibility on their website but to sell a product you at least have to know approximate wait times to tell customers. Every month that I choose to use them I lose my star seller rating on Etsy. Time to switch to a different company until they find a way to keep up with demand. read more

When I've had questions/concerns, they've been quick to respond to my emails too. Chris the owner is shady. I submitted two photos to print. 3 weeks later, no update, no tracking number. I tracked down his personal number and he dodged me and avoided answering any questions when asking for a update or refund. Then he blocked me. PA DA's office will be notified. I tried being reasonable but people like Chris need to be held accountable. And if he responds to this with anything like " we have no history of this customer in our data base" he is lying. I inadvertently made an error in my order. I order many Giclee's as I'm a busy artist. I always order stretch canvas never rolled canvas which I cannot sell. I had orders waiting for Mother's day. I asked for a rush order, I paid more to facilitate the order and was told Giclee's cannot be rushed and I was supposedly credited for it. I did not receive a revised statement. I contacted customer service and received a rude, terse comment. The customer service department needs to read replies their employee's send to customers. Ordering on an i-phone can be difficult but admonishing a client is not ok. This person did not identify himself/herself and continued to beat me down with rude & harassing comments. I made an error, no one is perfect. Kindness matters in business......Sometimes it's worth losing a hundred dollars to make a thousand. I will never deal with them again!! read more

I saw a recommendation for Giclee Today somewhere and decided to try them. I ordered a small run of prints for a commissioned piece I recently did. I received a shipping confirmation and a tracking number. Well, the prints have apparently been sitting at the Pottstown post office for OVER A WEEK. I can't get anyone from Giclee Today or the post office on the line. I have clients waiting. I don't know what to do. Very frustrating. Oh, and they are also not responding to email. I ordered a proof of a print through this company. Ordering a print ensures that if the color is not accurate, they will reprint at no charge, according to the website. The highlights were blown out and the color too warm. I emailed asking about a reprint and received an automated/formulaic response that had nothing to do with my actual question. I responded again with the same question, then was told I would have to order a reprint for comparison. This is not what their policy states: "We WILL only reprint your product at no charge, if it is a technical print quality problem or if there are damages during shipping." Their customer service is extremely poor. They do not listen to the customer and are not helpful throughout the printing process. read more

Great quality prints. I drop ship to my customers and use the "rush" option. Prints go out next business day and the price is very reasonable. You can't reach customer service by phone but they are responsive to emails. I have tried other Giclee printers but haven't been able to match the quality and value. Highly recommend. read more

The staff are friendly. However response times are slow. I've called 2-3 times and not one time did they pick up the phone immediately. When you leave a message, you can get a call back anywhere from 1-3 days later. In terms of ordering-- the feature that shows you what size your photo is naturally is very nice, so you can pick the right size without anything getting cropped. In terms of quality though-- I ordered 10 prints (of larger size) and only 2 of the 10 turned out well in terms of quality. I do not know why only 2 turned out well since they were all about the same size and the file size I gave were large enough to produce quality prints. I spent $100 and wasted $80. Also production times are slow. It took about a week and a half to produce. Shipping for me was pretty quick though-- not sure if that is the norm. I produce art prints for sale and wanted to try a new print shop to see if I can cut my costs to the customer. However I will never sacrifice quality for price. It looks like in this case you really do get what you pay for. Until I find a better print shop, I will be sticking with mpix. I'm just bummed I wasted $80- it's a hard hit for an artist. read more

If you need something basic, have time to wait and don't need to speak to anyone, you're probably ok. If you need to speak to anyone, or have any issue, forget it. It took me a week to get a (simple) answer to a question - several emails and phone calls. I should have taken that as my neon sign and gone elsewhere but I'm an artist on a budget and was trying to get some prints for a show and save a little money. Never again. Their site isn't the most user friendly, they don't have easy cropping options like others, you have to do alot of editing on your own. They rely on their gobs of disclaimers and resources on their site vs their customer service and printing services to provide actual good products. And if you have a problem, too bad. We told you all the things you need to know on our site. That is if you can get in touch with anyone. So now I'm left with unusable prints and I have a show in a few days. The best they could do was free "rush" and shipping for me, not even reprinting. If there is an issue with a file, instead of reaching out, they just print and ship. I will be going back to my other printer without looking back. Sorry giclee, you can do a lot better. Stop hiding behind your website and disclaimers and BE a resource for your artists if you truly want to be an artist's printer. read more

The color is vibrant and rich, the tones match my monitor perfectly, and the prints arrive quickly and in perfect condition. Terrible and customer service, slow and outdated. Yes their print quality is great, but is it worth the awful outdated customer service? It takes weeks to start on the print, and even after they provide your tracking number, if you don't message them, they will make no effort to ship it, maybe until couple of weeks later and even so they will mail it with regular mail which would take more weeks before it is delivered. I supposed if you took your business to them in person they'll get the work done. But they are not cut out for online services. Their online ordering platform is easy to use, and they are detailed and informative in their guidelines and what they offer directly within reach on their website. I am always nervous ordering from somewhere I just found on google, and have always had issues with getting my work printed correctly locally, but wow am I glad I gave it a chance. My first order of prints came in less than 2 weeks without rush shipping, I ordered prints of digital paintings on watercolor paper that look like they were painted right on.
