Third time I go there. I've used them successfully for cleaning and alteration at this point. So I'm confident to bring in my high value items. Drop off clothes end of April. This is a load of designer stuff that needs alterations and then some of my regular cleaning. This includes an irreplaceable vintage Chanel blazer and other delightful goodies. The lady and her mom are talking about my clothes in their language almost the whole of my fitting. I take it as a compliment. My clothes are nice and I worked my azz off for them. I have a very curated closet. Get my ticket. Don't even look at it. On my merry way. Some work travel passes, I realize I've left my clothes almost a month. Go to pick my clothes up without my ticket. We have nothing. Says she doesn't remember me bringing this stuff in (it was her and one alteration was VERY specific so she's either lying or has zero memory). I'm on the verge of tears in disbelief. She's stone faced. I don't immediately leave and she's kind of like, what do you want me to do? She flips through one reel of clothes but how do you find a black jacket amongst a million black jackets? I leave stunned. Devastated. These clothes have importance to me. Go home. Find the tickets! They are UNDER SOMEONE ELSES NAME. Go back (I live up the road). I sh*t you not, she says, oh. You found them. Literally ZERO apology. No, oh, I'm so glad we found your stuff. Salty AF. Then she has the audacity to ask if I'd like to refit one pair of pants they couldn't do before because the pants got longer when ironed. Ummm, that's a heavy pass. I hired Angelo's for carpet cleaning and air duct cleaning at my new home, I'm EXTREMELY UNHAPPY…read morewith how the services went and here is why: To begin, when they pulled into my driveway they ran over the end of my sidewalk with their vehicle and popped off one of the bricks which I now have to re-glue. Air Ducts: They began the air duct cleaning and shortly into the service they damaged one of my air ducts behind the wall, thus leaving me with a now broken airway to my powder room. The technician's equipment and large hose was shoved into my vent with no pre-examination of the sizing and now my flexible duct does not reach as it once did prior to Angelo's showing up. By shoving their equipment down improperly, they popped off the flexible duct even though it was zip tied (as it is supposed to be) and shredded it. They said they would have a manager come out to speak and review the issue that day and that never happened. Carpets: They arrived with equipment that was very different than what I was expecting. It did not appear to be commercial equipment rather something similar to what I could buy myself (like a Bissell). The carpet did get cleaned, but to me it seemed very odd that their equipment wasn't what I'm used to seeing. Several stains are still on my carpets (which I know sometimes they are very hard to remove), but most times they are able to at least be lessened. I give them a 7/10 on the carpets. I have been in contact with them about a refund and they only gave me $50 back for the 2 vents they charged me for! that they broke and weren't able to clean. Now I need to go to Home Depot and spend more $$$ to try and correct this duct problem they created. Their fine print states that they "aren't responsible for damages behind walls" which is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. Only good thing is that they were responsive to the email complaint. DO NOT USE THEM for your air duct cleaning. I should have gone with Stanley Steamer instead and will never be using Angelo's again -- you shouldn't either.
