They look up your dry cleaning order by your telephone number. And they seem to remember my phone number before I give it to them. If you get your things in before 9, you can get them back after 4:30 the same day. Their cleaning is very good. I am particular about how my dress shirts are pressed (spot collars and cuffs and light starch). And their prices are fair. I am so pleased with them that though I now live 50 minutes away, I save up my cleaning and take it out there when I need to visit my work headquarters.

We're a home of two adults, three kids, one dog, and a whole lot of stuff. The focus of the first visit was to organize the mudroom, coat closet, linen closet and playroom - accomplished in just four hours! The second visit focused on organizing our out of control basement/playroom, and the third visit was to overhaul a multipurpose room into a functional laundry room and office. We're planning to have them back soon to overhaul our general storage room! Not only were the women of Lessen the Loads efficient in the work they did, they were SO KIND! This is a service run by compassionate moms and it shows in every communication you have with them. Each visit brings zero judgement, kindness, and mom level efficiency. First we chat about what is a must keep, if there's anything that can be thrown away without checking with you, how you use the space, etc. Then they organize all of your stuff! For example, they emptied my coat closet and put all the shoes together, coats, hats, gloves, scarves, reusable bags, etc. Once it was all out and organized we walked through all of it to designate keep/toss/donate. THEN they took all the stuff we purged (that was in usable condition) with them to donate before putting the spaces back together!! I can't even imagine how long this work would have taken me with the kids around. Maybe a week with time to myself and no kids in the house? But who gets that? And that's not how I want to spend my alone time. I also am self aware enough to know that I wouldn't do it. But I know that I'd let the mental load of it hang over my head. Hiring Lessen the Loads was the perfect solution to tackle part of the never ending to do list that we all have as parents.
