However instead of shrinking the bodice they just pulled the whole thing up by the shoulders. (this moved the bust hip and waist line up making it fit even less well). When I showed up at assigned time to pick up the dress and my daughters pants, The dress was not finished and the pants were wrong. I was then rushed in the day before the due date to get the hem re pinned as they said the pins had fallen out. I picked up the pants that were re done but not pressed. The following day I picked up the dress and it was a disaster. Too long to walk without tripping and as suspected the bodice was way off. I found another place to fix it all in rush job and paid a fortune. The second seamstress suggested that I get a new dress cause it was so badly botched (actually longer in front than back -full length gown) All this just days before my son's wedding. Do not use them for alterations!

This was the cleaners that was recommended to me by a friend and mentor that actually lived in Pottstown. The owners are kind people who learn your name. They look up your dry cleaning order by your telephone number. And they seem to remember my phone number before I give it to them. If you get your things in before 9, you can get them back after 4:30 the same day. Their cleaning is very good. I am particular about how my dress shirts are pressed (spot collars and cuffs and light starch). And their prices are fair. I am so pleased with them that though I now live 50 minutes away, I save up my cleaning and take it out there when I need to visit my work headquarters.

I hope I'm in the minority with this experience but wanted to share a word of caution.

I did previously give this place a raving review but I take it ALL back! I can't say enough about…read morewhy you should NOT bring your garments here for alterations. Dry cleaning is decent but nothing above mediocre. The alterations are an absolute nightmare!! I cannot warn you enough to save yourself time and energy please don't use their services. Long story short- took two dresses to be altered. One needed the straps taken up and the other needed the hem taken up. When I dropped off I asked if it could be done by a specific time and they promised it would. Well what do you know, right as I am on my way to pick up they call and say they left the dress at "home". Seriously? I told them I needed it that day for a wedding. So I wait the extra couple of hours and go get my dresses. First dress that they took the straps off they totally butchered and made if WAY too short and it was not done as we measured, they also took a short cut and cut the straps instead of the normal tuck under so the dress is ruined. This beautiful dress can no longer be worn. Second dress, which cost me a lot to TAKE THE HEM up was a shotty job- rips frays and all. Take a look at the pictures and tell me you think this is a decent quality hem. Seriously cannot believe I trusted them with this simple job. I could have done a better job. Worse part of the whole experience was the owners nwphew who was the only one working told me there was nothing they can do. He didn't even look like he cared. It was unbelievable how bad the customer service was and how they didn't care. The owner didn't care either. Moral or the story is that dry cleaning here is a maybe at best but DO NOT have alteration done here unless you want your clothes butchered!

I dropped off multiple items to get dry cleaned, and specifically said that I would need the items by Thursday morning as I was planning on leaving town Friday morning and needed the items to take with me. (For context I drop the items off on a Saturday morning.). When I went Thursday morning, they did not have all my items, I ended up having to cancel an appointment to make it back Thursday before they closed at 5pm in order to pick up the remaining item after I called them multiple times and was told they would "see" if the item would be available. This is not the first time this has happened there. Because it's a family owned business, I have given them multiple chances to do better and for me the last straw was the owner literally yelling at me to get out, when I gently asked if she would consider reducing the cost of the dress cleaning ($26) for the inconvenience of having to come back for one item. The woman yelled at me like I had suggested she refund my entire almost two hundred dollar service. I will NEVER be going back here, I had originally lived this area and have never dealt with such rude behavior in the service industry.
