Yet another post office that somehow operates with one counter person, which just doesn't seem feasible or useful. It means that there's constantly a line that wraps from the counter itself to the exterior line, filled with annoyed customers talking mess loudly on their cell phones. It's sheer inevitability if you don't have enough folks to serve your clientele. I'm not sure why everyone working at the post office is so angry and/or miserable, but I imagine working with the public hoists a significant toll on anyone, so I'll cut them a lil' slack. Definitely bring your own shipping materials, people! The postal palace done got expensive as all heck! I wish I could suggest going to the nearby Atlantic location, but it's pretty much the same. So, whenever you plan to go to the post office, just plan to spend some time. Maybe bring a book or something. read more

Willette is the most unprofessional, rude, condescending and unhelpful employee I've ever dealt with. Every single time I come in, she has an attitude and is unwilling to do the simplest things such as scan PAID FOR packages to get a receipt. I run a small business and I need proof that I dropped them off. I've had a few issues with this post office. 1. Not so friendly staff and not willing to help thoroughly 2. P.O. Box mail is not always up on time. 3 days maybe out the week it is. 3. P.O. Box is supposed to give customers peace of mind that mail will be delivered accordingly and without error. Whole point of having a box is peace of mind. Right? No, not here! This place is horrible! I had my appointment and was in line to get helped. The person who does your passport paperwork is also helping the other costumers send mail, buy stamps.. while your time for the appointment been passed. I went to the Post Office to drop off my daughter's Birthday Card around 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023. On the way there, I realized that the envelope did not seal properly so I went inside and ask the male attendant for a strip of scotch tape. He said they did not have any - and I can see that he had a lot of scotch tape on a dispenser on the top of the counter to his right. I came in to do a passport renewal in person because I'm not eligible to do it by mail and on the the usps website it says to come in person if you're not able to renew by mail so that's exactly what I did. Well I would definitely have to disagree with the other yelpers, I actually live in Antioch, near the Tregallis post office which is extremely slow and always crowded, I have dealt with this particular location several times and always been treated kind. The young-lady Willette is extremely knowledgeable and proficient at her job, and seems to be on the ball every-time I have been there, multi tasking and helping as many people as she possibly can. I think people really need to lighten up and look at the situation that these employees deal with all damn day long. Yes they are public servants, but they are human first. So let's give them a break folks before the post office gets shut down and we all have to go to the at Century Plaza. read more

Came here one morning at like 9am to get my package through the express. I was sending a gift to one of my long distance friends on the east coast. The line wasn't long. Well, it didn't look long. There were only four people in front of me. Two people were already being helped by two post office employees. Turns out my wait lasted twenty minutes. Maybe it was longer. All I know is that I was bored and my feet hurt and the people in front of me were getting pretty annoyed. Finally do get service and it wasn't my favorite. The guy didn't even look at me for the first two-three minutes I was in front of him. He was busy doing something else. The office is clean for the most part. There's a lot of paper left on the tables that people didn't want to use or were too lazy to put in the trash. The pen was running out of ink so it was hard to write things down. Not my favorite place to be at. It's better to have things already prepared and mail it off through the Dropbox than by going in yourself and dealing with the monotony and the other stuff. 2/5 read more

Willette is one of the rudest people I have ever met. Whenever I go there she purposely gives me a hard time and the attitude she gives customers is so unnecessary. She yells, cuts you off, rolls her eyes, and she even lies. I've caught her lying on multiple occasions. She makes it seem like you are a nuisance for being there. I am a business owner and know how shipping works pretty well and the other employees always are much nicer and I've never had a problem with them but with willette it's a different story. Came here to buy stamps and drop off a package. The girl in front was so rude. First of all, the place was not busy at all. There was one other customer who was busy wrapping a package so there was no reason for the clerk to be stressed or in a hurry. Anyways, her demeanor was so abrupt, it felt like you were a nuisance to her. I came up and didn't realize the pre-printed packing label for the company said "FedEx" but all she did was point to it and walk away. I told her that I still needed stamps. She proceeded to yell out "Can you help this customer?" to a non-existent co-worker. No one responded so she decided to ring me up. I took my stamps and funnily enough, when she handed me my receipt, she circled the barcode on the bottom to complete a survey- underlining "your opinion counts." Did she think I was going to give her a good review? This was my first and last time at this post office. read more

I delt with three different employees on three separate occasions. Two of them were very very very slow, I seriously do not think I have ever seen someone who was supposed to be working move at such a slow pace. One of the employees was a little rude, he really didn't want to be at work that day, but then again who does? The third employee was very nice, very helpful and seemed like a genuinely nice guy, he is the reason I am giving a 3 star review, if I hadn't had the pleasure of dealing with him they would be getting only 1 star. Worst customer service. I had to keep calling the place for 3 days. The first day no answer it kept ringing for 30 minutes &the place wasn't even closed. The second day there was a lady who answered she put me on hold for so long &when I called back to confirm she sounded more annoyed than wanting to help me. I got the same experience with the same woman on the third day at least I got response quicker than before. Now I'm just waiting for my re-delivery. I have had several packages from this post office delivered to the wrong address. Recently, I had another package delivery coming from UPS that was delivered to this post office and then shipped to my address.Once again, it was given to a neighbor, but fortunately they were honest enough return the item to the proper address. The address was completely different from my own, so I am not sure how a postal worker made the mistake, but it is worrisome to know that these kinds of mistakes are being made. The holidays are right around the corner and I am definitely going to be looking for other options for delivery, because last year none of my packages that were shipped to me through this postal office came. I had to quickly pick up the items, that I had ordered, from the stores and paid quite a bit extra in order for these gifts as well. More money than I paid for them through online purchase and I had to contact each merchandiser to get refunded money for missing purchases. The post office itself was no help. Absolute incompetence from this USPS location. The customer service is poor. I'm not at all surprised to see so many low ratings and I too would give a rating of zero stars if the option were available. read more
