I walk up to the counter and explain to the lady sitting in a chair... that I have pre paid label I need printed out for my boxes. She rolls her eyes and gives me attitude when I tell her I just need them all printed out & I'll put the label on each package myself because I have the names written on each package to make it easier because that's what you do when you use the self service kiosks. Instead of just having some patience and thinking about it for 5 seconds to understand what I'm saying she uses attitude to get through her day. Grow up and learn how to work in customer service. Learn to adapt to the younger generations we don't know about your usps guidelines ma'am. Not every one was born in the early 90s :) . I'd rather travel an extra 30 minutes to a concord usps to have a better experience with a self service kiosk and then they wonder why robots take over their jobs :) store Managers should really start looking at reviews to better manage their business. I went in January 29th, 2024 to seek assistance with shipping several small packages, 22 to be…read moreexact. Before I could approach the desk, the postal worker was rude to two other customers. One customer didn't fill out a form correctly and when informed of doing so the postal worker told him he couldn't give him another as there wasn't many forms available. The postal worker proceeded to tell the customer it was his fault (the customer) and that he couldn't assist further. Another customer was checking out with this same postal worker and when her pin didn't go through the postal worker said "you need to know the correct pin, this never happens to me". Insinuating that she was incompetent for the error. When it was my turn with the postal worker, I informed him (older man with glasses and head covering) that I tried to process my postage online but did not have a scale to accurately weigh my packages. He then interrupted me and said "well you need a scale to do this online". I informed him that I didn't have a scale at home which is why I came to the post office. He then proceeded with "I can't weigh your packages unless I do the postage here". I replied "great, I have 22 small packages that need to be shipped." His response was then "there's a long line behind you, you need to do this online." Taken back by his rudeness I asked, "if that's the case can you weigh one package so I can continue to process my postage online?" He took my box and began the weighing process while slamming on his computer screen. Once I was given the weight and my package back I left. My overall experience at this post office with this postal worker was less than acceptable. I understand that not everyone can be in a great mood but brushing off customers the way he did me was uncalled for.

Absolutely Pathetic Excuse for Customer Service -- USPS Should Be Embarrassed…read more This has to be one of the most infuriating, incompetent, and flat-out ridiculous experiences I've ever had with any service -- let alone one that claims to be "reliable." My package was supposed to arrive last week. It never showed. The excuse? The delivery driver couldn't access my apartment complex because of a gate code. Here's the kicker: THERE IS NO GATE CODE. My complex does not have a gate. No keypad, no access code, nothing. Just open access. So why lie? Laziness? Incompetence? Both? And somehow, this same driver who "couldn't deliver" the package managed to leave a pink slip in my EMPTY mailbox. So let's break that down: they were capable enough to access the box and leave a useless slip of paper, but not capable enough to walk 30 feet to my front door with the actual package. Make that make sense. I scheduled a redelivery. Surprise -- it never happened. No update, no delivery, nothing. So I go to the post office in person to fix their mess. I get stuck dealing with an employee named Elizabeth, who tells me -- with zero emotion or care -- that I can't get my package without the pink slip. The same pink slip they left instead of doing their job properly. I explain everything. Doesn't matter. She stares at me like I'm the problem and repeats the same useless line: "Sorry, can't help you." No effort, no workaround, just cold dismissal. I ask for a manager. She hands me two numbers: One is the national USPS hotline (800-275-8777) -- pure scripted hell. The other is their local number (925-432-2741) -- which, of course, no one ever answers. So I have to waste more time driving all the way home, grabbing the stupid pink slip (which proves nothing by the way), and driving back just to pick up my package -- which turns out to be WAY too large to fit in any standard mailbox. So the excuse about not being able to deliver is even more ridiculous. It was never going to fit. They just didn't want to bother. And it doesn't stop there. I ask again for a manager's number -- this time Elizabeth gives me 925-432-8858. I call it. It rings for a long time, then just clicks off. No voicemail. No answer. No surprise. Let me be absolutely clear: This was one of the most frustrating, dismissive, and poorly handled experiences I've ever had with any business. USPS at this location doesn't just lack customer service -- they lack basic human decency and professional effort. There's no urgency, no responsibility, and no one willing to fix anything. Everyone you talk to just passes the buck, shrugs, and leaves you hanging. The people here either don't care, don't want to work, or are too comfortable knowing no one holds them accountable. It's completely broken. If you're expecting actual service, good luck. You'll get nothing but excuses, unanswered phones, and wasted time. This location is a joke. And the joke is on the customer.

The line grew as we all waited while a woman was expressing her discontent about not receiving her mail to Gigi. Gigi was supremely polite and incredibly patient as she explained to the woman in multiple ways (because the woman was just not understanding and continued to be upset ) that she could not do more than she already did (by taking the woman's name and phone number to give to the supervisor of the mail carriers) And that all the supervisors were gone for the day. Then, when the woman left and it was finally my turn, Gigi helped me understand the most economical way to send my gifts. She is just awesome and if I lived closer, I would go to this post office more often because of her!
