This location desperately needs to hire more help. The line is always 20+ people out the door, parcel bins overflowing, self dropoff jammed full, countertops so full you can't fit anymore boxes. I dread having to come to this location. 6 registers with 1 person helping customers. Line is always 10 people deep. Occasionally there will be a second employee helping customers. I have a P.O. Box at this location for my business and have to come here multiple times a week. Mail to the box gets returned to the customers regularly stating the address is invalid when in actuality it's correct. I get no answers for as to why this is occurring. They act as if you are retarded. I gave two stars because they finally fixed the parking lot. read more

Maybe people tend to leave reviews when they are disappointed? But I'm going to make a point of reading this review because I noticed a number of low star reviews based on things like people being upset because the computer was down for long lines or whatever. My experience has been very different here. Today I went in to sort through a problem with the package that have been returned and every step of the way The dear woman who is helping me kindly explain, gave me some tips, reminded me what to check for and then double check the postage amount. She smiled. She was efficient and kind. I had come in here periodically over the last year and I've been through several difficult situations including having moved into a condo where there was no key available for the mailbox, and they walked me through the steps and notified me when it was ready. They were patient with my grumpiness about having to pick up my nail a couple of miles away for the first six weeks. And every other time I've come in here to see that it worked out well. So. There. Not sure what all the grumpiness is about but everybody else run into here has been helpful, efficient, and more or less friendly. Sometimes very friendly. Amazing how much of a smile you get when you say something nice to the person helping you! read more

Are you kidding me? I walk in to drop off Mailing material for my Business exactly at 4:30 and the door was locked. As soon as I tapped the window politely, and yes I am saying politely because I tapped it with my finger nail not to be rude. This lady comes around the corner and yells Rudely "Were closed, sorry!" The customer service here is horrible and the worst part - they don't care that they provide horrible customer service. My package was not delivered to my home - I was outside and saw the mailman drop off my mail but no package - I got my mail, walked into the house and checked the informed delivery app only to learn that the mailman scanned said package and marked it as delivered - but it was not. The staff at the post office insists that because their GPS says it was delivered then it was delivered. It's taken 3 weeks for them to basically tell me "too bad for you lady" file a claim and maybe we will pay you for your package. Don't try calling this location - the phone rings 28 times and then hangs up. There were days I tried 5 or 6 times and no one answered and then the phone hung up after 28 rings - trust me, I counted! When they do answer, they are not helpful - the standard line is "I'll have someone call you back today" - but they don't. I did not receive a single return phone call from the Greenway location. When I finally spoke with someone with authority there - I got the same run around - GPS says it was delivered lady, so it was delivered. When I asked about why they have such poor customer service and would this person put up with this if it was HIS/HER package that was lost the answer was - "I can't say, all I can tell you is that the GPS says it was delivered". Good job reading the card of responses that someone put in front of you! Well, I hope the mailman's dog, or whoever got my package is enjoying the Superchewer Barkbox that my dog was supposed to be enjoying. read more

It's a post office... what is there to say?? I didn't have to stand in any lines or wait for anyone, as I printed postage out online. All I had to do was drop it off at the counter. It was perfectly clean as well. Yes there were people in line, but my tip (as with any post office), purchase and print online (plus you can usually save a bit of $$ as well), and just drop off. read more

They were very helpful as to what I should send and the guy even made a xerox copy for me, even though they are NOT supposed to! After using this post office for about 20 years, I find the customer service, attitude, and ability of the workers to be outstanding.

You have to feel a little sympathy for postal workers. On board a slowly sinking ship. It's little things that private package companies seem to do better. Or at least do with more flexibility. One example: No dogs allowed in the lobby of this Post Office. So Postal Service, you want your customers to leave their pets in hot cars in Phoenix? Seriously? Do you want Sheriff Joe to arrest them all for animal cruelty? Or do you just want your customers to go to the UPS store? Or FedEx? I understand the historical friction between dogs and mail carriers, but its time to rethink strategy and better consider the needs of customers. read more

The friendliest people ever that I've met at any post office. Seriously so much smiles and friendly humor. It makes me want to send more mail. Clean building, only a 5 minute wait at 3:30 pm on a Tuesday. They are alert and aware and are all about saving your money too. One of the ladies in black curly hair and glasses helped me. She even congratulated me with my engagement because she figured i was sending out save the dates. She made sure I had the love stamps!! She just made my day and this engagement more fun! read more

Why am I posting a review when I am almost sure nothing will get done about it? Probably because we have no other choice. Our mail carrier to 85028 near Golddust and Tatum consistently fails to ring our doorbell for registered mail and it goes to the Cactus Station after two days. Then more fun begins. If you do not get to this USPS facility at the opening, you'll be waiting often twenty deep in a line just to pick up packages with only one or two people on duty. Occasionally they will ask if someone is "just picking up," but this is inconsistent and a rarity. It looks like I'm going to have to start using the UPS Store now for inbound registered mail. I would gladly tip the mail carrier if it were one or even two people consistently, but you just can't easily tip five different mail carriers! read more

I do much eBay shipping and don't own a printer but the Post Office HAD this simple to use self service machine until recently. The new machine is horrible and isn't working half the time. As a result I've been forced to try and get in to mail my packages during business hours which is difficult when working 9-6 m-f with a commute. When I do manage to get in, the staff is always helpful and quick at getting me in and out which is appreciated. I'd use them all the time if they were as available as the previous self service machine!!! If I could give them a negative score I would. Got to the Post Office yesterday with 2 packages and a large envelope only to find that the office was closed due to Bush's funeral. He was a wonderful man, but what does that have to do with a post office closing? I tried the auto shipping machines and after 15 minutes of frustration (what you key in is not what shows on the screen) it would not work! I get there today a 4:31- I'm knocking on the window and the staff refused to let me in to do my business. She kept telling me she Can't open the door as she's standing there with the door open. The lines here are always long, they never have more than 2 service clerks available at a time so anyone needing to get in and out can be sure you're going to invest 30 minutes. The parking lot is a disaster and seems like it needed some attention a few years ago (been going to this location for over 20 years). The worst part? Got a problem that you would like an answer to on the phone? Forget it. They don't even bother to answer the phone. My mail hasn't been delivered for a few days, and if the postal person is out there doing deliveries they just drove on by, not leaving anything or picking up my outgoing items. I have had some issues with mail delivery (incorrect mail, packages that have a delivery confirmation but aren't in my box, my mail being delivered to neighbors).
