Ordered death certificates from the funeral home. PAID for certified delivery. Never got any notice or delivery. Ring doorbell proves the postal worker lied about attempted delivery and notice left. Certificates returned to the funeral home 350 miles away. They expect me to pay for certified mail again. Postal worker said it was only about $4. I paid once for complete incompetentance and won't pay USPS again. Would rate USPS zero stars if possible. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. I moved to the area recently and my package was lost. I understand the possibility of it being stolen but this office isn't even there. I am always receiving some one else's mail. I hardly get a package delivered. When I do they leave it in the middle of the driveway at the street... guess what, it rained that day. Had a package I've been waiting on that was out for Friday delivery... Why is the after hours drop box always locked? I had no choice but to ship an item for my business from one of the outdoor boxes and it never arrived, costing me a sale and an important customer. My packages are still not being delivered reliably and when they do arrive, it's days and sometimes weeks after some clownshoe has marked it as delivered so they don't get in trouble with the supervisor. Terrible customer service!! The worst...I unfortunately had to deal with this location multiple times while ordering things for work. First time after standing in line for an hour. I was told the credit card machine was out of order. Ok! Not their fault...Second time after standing in line 45 mins some guy comes in throwing a fit about his key....I'm next in line but the pretend Mgr. allowed the guy that hadn't spent any time in line to go before me. Ok! Not their fault right? Third time! I paid for package intercept for a package that was returned. To have the package return to its original destination anyways!! I have made a complaint against the Pflugerville PO and the mail supervisor "Vanessa" because I didn't receive my mail for 11 days. It was marked as "delivered" by the postal carrier July 20th at 1:16 pm and I had 7 packages form July 20 - July 27 that came up missing. Until I filed a formal complaint against the mail carrier then miraculously the next day my missing mail was recovered and I was told it was due to a full box. This is INCORRECT because last Friday after it was missing for a week I went to the PO and Joseph the door supervisor checked in the back for my mail and it was not there. He said he would start an investigation and I would be contacted 24-48 hours later. No go, so finally, after almost 2 weeks, I went online and filed a complaint with the Post Office General and now Vanessa is leaving a rude message on my phone saying my mail has been sitting in the post office for 11 days now and I need to come to pick up before they send it back. When I do go to pick it up today the first thing Vanessa says to be is "I don't appreciate you filing a complaint against this PO and the mail carrier. If it wasn't for him you wouldn't even have your mail." WTF? Really Vanessa? Is this a veiled threat? When I told her my mail was n't there last week because Joseph checked, she started talking over me and closed the door on me making me wait for 5 minutes at the door. Then when she opened the door the said "I'm making a note in the future we will not hold your mail, it will immediately be sent back". Another threat Vanessa? I told her this would not happen and that I would be filing yet another complaint and this time she would be named for her threats. All I was trying to do was pick up my mail which has been "lost" now fr 2 weeks. I did NOT need her rude attitude. Who does this lady think she is? (A Karen at the post office? ) wow. Next, I told her I wanted the name, phone #, and email of her supervisor because I would be making that complaint today and she refused to give it to me. She started on waiting on other people while I was still at the postal door so I got back in line to get the information from one of the clerks. Luckily Joseph heard the entire conversation and asked me to come up from and he would provide the information which he did and was very respectful and mature. Vanessa needs to learn a thing from this guy. She is beyond unprofessional. I think she is "mental". Before Joseph called me up front Vanessa starting talking loud to the next customer saying "some people just get mad when they don't get their way" Really Vanessa? At which point did I get my mail...for the past 11 days when my mail was NOT delivered or when I had to deal with you and YOUR attitude. I guess she thought I wouldn't say anything but I yelled out "Oh you mean when someone doesn't get their mail for 11 days with no notice and then has to deal with attitude?" Vanessa gets quiet, maybe she doesn't know how to deal with this. Then she says sarcastically "ma'am you have a nice day" and she slams the door on that customer. At this time, Joseph asked me to come up to the counter and he provides me with the information to file the complaint against Vanessa which I have done. Vanessa is a Supervisor? really, she should be FIRED because she doesn't know how to handle customer complaints, and then she threatened me twice first with the "your lucky you even received your mail" and then the "next time your mail will get sent directly back, I'm making a note". Well, Vanessa, now YOU take note, you have a formal written complaint against you personally with the Post Master General. I have your rude voice mail on my phone, I have pics of my mail being tampered with holes where someone has tried to open it, and everyone in the post office today heard the way you disrespectfully spoke to me and threatened me and slammed the door making me wait for 5 minutes for you to get control over yourself. I hope there is an investigation into this and I hope you lose your job over this. Affirmative action and taxpayer dollars in which I have contributed has paid for your salary, you certainly don't deserve to be in this job and you have shown you can't even handle the simplest of customer complaints. It's illegal and a FEDERAL offense to tamper with mail. It is ILLEGAL to mark the mail as delivered when it was NOT. Your attitude toward the public in your supervisory role should be illegal...too bad it is not. read more

My husband got there at 5.01 and stood in line for the next 15 mins or so. When it was his turn, the staff turned him down saying that "Rules and rules, we can't give you the package after 5"! This post office is the worst I have ever dealt with. Every single service they provide has issues. The Saturday carrier lies about attempting to pick up packages when I schedule a pickup. I have cameras with person detection so I know 100% they didn't show up. . The box for drop off inside this station is often stuck closed and they let it stay like that for weeks preventing anyone from shipping without handing something to an attendant. They also do not replace community boxes after they are vandalized beyond use {doors ripped off package cubes} . Our community mailboxes which are the property of this post office and the responsibility for them to fix were vandalized, left in disrepair for years and packages stolen. They've never fixed it but packages continue to be delivered in unsafe boxes that could easily be opened. I've reported them to the postal inspectors over and over and am going to continue reporting them outside of my district until I get someone that will listen. They cause my business losses because of their horrible service and they make mail theft easy because they will not replace these boxes that are falling apart that were installed in the 80s. . . They have had a piece of particle board nailed over one of the windows for over two months at their station. I will also be filing a complaint with the cities zoning commission about the disrepair left unattended for months. This post office and its administration needs to be investigated. I suspect the funds are being pocketed instead of used to run this station and sserve the community that depends on them. . . My suggestion to everyone that lives in the community and is forced to deal with this station for mail shipment and mail delivery is to call and report a complaint. Ask to file a complaint and speak with management outside of the region, because speaking with someone at this station will not result in anything. Keep reporting them and keep demanding that this station is investigated. Postal stations are notorious for employing admin and management people that don't do their jobs and commit fraud and I want this station and their neglect investigated. . . I feel sorry for anyone that actually tries to do a decent job at this place, because I imagine it is also just as miserable to work for this mismanaged station. read more

after purchasing my house here in pflugerville, I went to the post office to get a new set of keys for my mailbox at my subdivision. They handed me new keys and I filled out a request for a new lock. They told me it would be about a week. I came back a week and a half later, and told him my lock has still not been changed. A girl at the front desk told me the request was never filled out by the carrier, which means it was never processed. She handed me a new set of keys And I filled out the request for a new lock again. A week later, I was able to catch my carrier at my mailbox and asked him if he had the keys to change my luck? He pointed to his headphones which were in his ears, and told me "I am busy working". He continued to ignore me so I left. I came back the next day to see if he had changed my luck, in which I encountered a Woman carrier and asked her if she knew anything about my lock change. She managed to use a screwdriver to pry off my lock and change it for me! I gave her my old set of keys which was my first request that never was processed. Fast forward a month later, I go to get my mail to pay my first month mortgage, and lo and behold my lock is changed. I went to the post office to ask what had happened. They told me they changed my lock from my original first request that was "never written down or processed". He told me to give him a week that he will relay the message to my carrier. I came back today to see if I could pick up any mail for the past two weeks, in which I was informed that my mail has been shoved into my mailbox for two weeks. This is route 17 here in Pflugerville Texas. I filled out a new lock change request, fingers crossed I can get this processed so I am able to check my mail for the first time in two weeks. This is the most chaotic situation I have ever encountered with anyone, or any service in my life. Something needs to change! read more

I've been trying to call the Pflugerville Post Office for 4 days now with no contact. They were supposed to reroute my medicine to me at my new address, not the old one. The Pflugerville Post Office confirmed everything over the phone since it was rejected on line. "Don't worry, Sir..... Everything is taken care of, I've got your information in the system and we see your change of address. Your package will go to your new address." I already had mail forwarding on for more than a year. But all I could do is sit and watch my package continue on and be placed in the street mailbox of my former address. It's ashame what the Post Office has been reduced to. They no longer live up to their Constitutional mandate. How could they, with poor leadership. I'm younger and I can only think of someone older depending on the Post Office for medicine or benefit checks. They should deregulate the post office and let FedEx, UPS, DHL, and Amazon run it. I sent an important letter Priority 11 days ago, and the person I sent it to still hasn't received the letter. I go into the office and have them track the letter down. Supposedly it's sitting in some warehouse since "business was closed" the day they delivered. How about... go back and deliver it the following day!!! Came in today to have a package sent internationally. I was received by Gina and I asked how hoe much would it cost me to have my package in hand sent to my destination. She answered me in a very disrepectful manner "Really?! Do you want me to go all though this?! " Those were the exact same words she said. Then she handed forms told me just to fill it up not explaining what is it for. So I read the forms and went ahead and filled it up. I went back to her again and she told me to go to a different associate. A very loussy customer service experience I had with her. Looks like she doesnt want to work there and just sit on her bum trying to look busy while getting paid. Everytime I come here I always get excellent service. The drivers that work at this post office obviously can't read addresses. I have lost count of how many packages don't get delivered to the correct house or mailbox. You would think that since the addresses in the entirety of the neighborhood are permanently affixed to the house by way of an engraved stone they'd know which address they were at. But no. Concerning lost mail: the USPS has 100% responsibility and liability to ensure that EVERY article of mail arrives safely and efficiently at its destination. I think this Post Office has an Issue with Priority Mail. I have had not one but TWO envelopes say they were delivered, but were never received. And One of those envelopes required a Signature. You cannot get through the 800 number, and they want a Tacking Number to 'Assist' you. But if it reads Delivered and you do not have it, then you are stuck. I have filed Claims, and will file a formal complaint directly at the Post Office, but in the meantime, so Extremely Important Documents are gone. read more

Seriously the worst post office I have ever been to, I would avoid this location at all cost. I ship several times per week, at least 3-4, and unfortunately at times this is the closest one to me. They are unorganized, slow, rude, and offer no help. I will go as far as saying lazy and not even willing to try. I spoke to the manager a few weeks ago and he told me something that even I, not being a postal worker, know is not true. I am ASTOUNDED by the collective incompetence here. My package was placed in a parcel locker on my street over a week ago. The key didn't work. No big deal, stuff happens. I called in on Monday and while explaining the situation was cut off and instructed to place my key with a note addressing the issue in the outgoing mailbox. Whatever, people are busy. I do as I'm told. Nothing happened. I go back Wednesday. Some 40 year old ginger dude says he'll tell his supervisor in the morning as she just went home for the day... Fine. Next day. No package or new key yet. I go in. I'm annoyed, but I'm not going to yell at a postal carrier. That job is hard. I mean, if you do it, it's hard. Nobody here appears to be doing that job. I go in and explain what happened. The woman I'm speaking to suggests leaving my information and I'll get a call from the supervisor, so I reiterate that that is exactly what I did yesterday and that won't work since I don't do the same thing twice when it didn't work the first time. Lo-and-behold, the manager Roberto is there and can speak to me. He says he'll take care of it personally. I look in my mailbox today and there's a note that reads, "Your key will work. Key does not go fully in. After inserting key push key in harder and it will finish inserting all the way." In-f*cking-sane. So instead of putting it in a new locker and leaving me the key, you're telling me how to jimmy they lock for the key that I ALREADY PUT BACK IN THE OUTGOING MAIL BOX AS I WAS ORIGINALLY instructed. Since moving to Pflugerville in December I have noticed that the post office and mail carriers here seem very rushed and sloppy. I have always recived a note in the mail if there is a box at my apartments office to pick up, well not in Pflugerville. 3 times this month my daughter and myself have recived packages that have just sat at the office due to us not being informed. I also had trouble from February to May with all my mail being returned to sender even though all proper forms were done in December and my name is on my box. It took calling for 2 weeks straight and countless times of hearing we will call you back later today when I finally went in person, from there it took another month to be fixed. While they almost redeemed themselves, the fact that they dropped the ball AGAIN earns them a 1! It all started because a lazy mail carrier brought a letter to my door because it needed a signature. Despite there being 6 people at home and 4 cars in the driveway, he/she decided not to try to knock or ring the doorbell and instead just throw a notice at the door (I say this because they didn't even take the time to stick it on the door; it was on the ground!) I immediately went to P.O. to get it...my bad! The carrier still had it so I couldn't. I explained, to the rudely nice (I should say condensending) employee at the window that I wouldn't mind being asked to come back if the carrier had made some effort to actually get someone to the door and we were now being inconvenienced because of it and we were going into a 3 day weekend so I couldn't get it until Tuesday. She finally said she would have the carrier circle back and redeliver it. That would have gotten them a good review but of course, that did not happen so they get the 1 they deserve. I went in to get my keys to my new home I bought, the clerk was not very nice. She continuously told me my street name sounded stupid (very unprofessional!) They did not know where my keys were for my new mailbox. Then told me they would look into it, but didn't take my number or any of my information, I asked how I was supposed to know when I had keys...was I supposed to just continuously come in? Call? what? They then told me to call back after a few days and gave me what I thought was the post master's number. It wasn't! The phone number happened to be just the post office's number, when I tried to call them to get more information, the phone would just ring, no voice system, nobody answered, NOTHING!! I put my phone on ringer at my work desk and let it just ring for 10 minutes and still NOTHING!! Horrible customer service! When I finally did talk to the post master he was very rude, instead of waiting to hear the details of my problem, he just said he didn't know anything about it (which is why I was trying to explain to him the situation). Buying a 1st home and moving is stressful enough, they did not make it any easier on me. I also work 60-70 hour work weeks, I cannot just come in to a post office once a week. Not a very empathetic staff and does not explain well. Then try to go in on a Saturday. Get there right before 1 and try said they were already closed. Not helpful. I don't go inside the post office very often. That's true for any post office. I came inside to pick up a package that required me to sign for it. I came on a Saturday morning around 9:30. There were about four people ahead of me in line (including two at the counter). I was at the counter in hardly any time at all. The worker who helped me was very friendly and helpful. I noticed while I was there that the workers seemed to have developed relationships with other patrons (possibly people who come inside often/frequently). That gave me warm fuzzies because I like community. And how cool to be able to possibly build that at your local post office?! read more

Ms. Angel Brown made getting a passport fun today (May 8th) her and her colleague displayed fun/ happy attitudes at work which is hard to find these days. Very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and quick. She even made sure that I was going to get my sons passport in time, by reminding me of the deadline and how close it was. We were in an out of there in a jiffy so I was able to get my son back to school quicker than I thought. What a pleasant time @ the Pflugerville Post Office (#USPS), it just made my day! read more

I love to post good reviews but unfortunately the bad far out weighs the good here. I have been using this neighborhood post office for over 6 years. The staff greeting the public is super friendly and usually quite pleasant. They work hard! However, the quality of mail delivery is sorely lacking. I have 2 receipts right now for over night packages that got delivered days after the guaranteed date. Another package that was shipped from Texas and has been lost for 3 weeks! I can reach any other post office by phone, but NOT this one. You have to drive there, with no promise that you will get answers. I eventually resorted to using another post office to over night, and even they had negative words about this location. What needs to change? read more

Nice and easy to deal with staff. They helped me to open a PO Box remotely when I was in another state. Not every USPS location is so good.

We all know shipping packages around the holidays aren't usually easy or pleasant, but this post office is far from that. You could feel the positive energy from the staff by how they carry themselves, kindly working and helping each other and friendly to the customers. The parking lot was full but I was in and out.
