I visited this Post office for the first time today. This is a very pretty post office with A brick veneer covered building. Parking lot is good size, I can't imagine anyone not being able to park. The inside is very clean. The person working the desk was very nice and courteous and prompt. They sell greeting cards and gift cards. They also sell packing supplies such as bubble wrap and tape. They have free priority mail items, such as envelopes and boxes. I like this post office better than the other one in round rock. I highly recommend this post office! Oh, I forgot to mention, they have a drive-through mailbox! That is extremely convenient! read more

I've lived at two different addresses serviced by this particular post office. At the first home, they hit our basketball hoop, left a note, then once we contacted them, they refused to make it right. They told us it was in the middle of the street. It was up against the curb just like the other three up and down the street. At my next address, instead of individual mailboxes we have mailbox banks. They shoved my marked-fragile package into the tiny box. I had to cut the box and get it out and as I yanked it out, the product inside was broken. There is a package lockbox as part of the mailbox! A tiny bit of extra effort would have gone SO far. And why bother to call in a complaint. They'll blame the customer. Again. read more

Like all the post offices I go to this one is aging and a little shabby, but unlike the others this has the best employees by far. There may be the occasional line at a peak time of the day or around the holidays, but they always do a good job of opening more registers when possible and are always fast and efficient when checking you out. They're also very knowledgeable and friendly, so it's a good feeling to have your business taken care of with a smile and feel you're in good hands. read more

The employees are always super friendly with smiles and small talk. But most importantly they have a self serve kiosk! so I usually use that and/or check my box. Unfortunately they don't offer notary services, so I had to go down the street to the UPS store. read more

Great customer service here today and no line! There were three customer service reps happily helping customers. I went in with about 25 envelopes needing to be weighed and the postage calculated. Next time just do your job. Stopped in to stop a forward addressed package while the package was at the facility and was told I would get a call back because "they didn't have time to look while i was there". Ok, I haven't been in a post office in many years. Since I moved in 2018 I can see that things have definitely changed. It all started with completing the address forwarding On-Line. 1. USPS now scans your mail to let you know what's coming to your box. This is great for those folks who have a remote PO Box detached from your residence. No more wasted trips. 2. The staff is very helpful now. No more DMV attitude. They helped me locate the key to my new mail box and helped me when our mailbox pod was damaged by Thieves. Mira Loma, California 3. I've had a wide variety of experiences at this PO in the past 24 years-yes THIS is my PO. Some of the employees who were "interesting" have retired, now there's a mix-new and "established" employees working at this locale. Within reason I do understand-the USPS has to compete with many others now. I wish I could evaluate my actual postal carrier-currently our carrier is questionable but friendly. The employees at this location are nice-today I heard them apologizing to customers for the wait,and another repeatedly asking if anyone was just picking up mail, etc to help move things along. Sounds like a good day. Today I was able to do everything 1-at home then 2-self drop. It is very frustrating that my mail hold (clearly done for more than 3 Biz days) was NOT followed. Heck, the mail wasn't held. I'm very Thankful that I had no packages delivered (according to my USPS Informed Mail Service). However holds should be followed. At one point this location would have received 1 star due to lack of helpful employees inside, slow processing, and-as the home of my carrier-incorrectly delivered mail. Now they are improving. I'm very happy I can do (almost) everything online and at home-I'm not running a Biz. Maybe that helps out the load, who knows. I'll keep sending (and receiving LOL) mail, so I'll keep updating this. This is very gracious to give this particular office--much liess the entire USPS----a 1 star review. This entire governmental agency needs a -10 star review (yes, I said negative 1-star reveiw, ant THAT. my friends, is gracious.) When you want to improve this office in Georgetown, you can start with the insipid pension-confident USPS incompetents who work with U.S. citizens in Georgetown who are intentionally humiliated as they await access to passport services. USPS can begin with eliminating these jobs immediately and start anew with people who actually HELP U.S. CITIZENS with renewing--and/or obtaining their passports. You have profoundly offensive do-nothings who site in these positions in this office and tell people out loud that they are "set with their pensions and don't have to do antying, and they accomplish that very,, very well: they don't accomply ANTHING. These particular employees make very, very sure they declare out loud for all to hear that they don't have to do ANYTHING...and that, indeed is what they do. They will giv e each and every person in line a well-rehearsed "run-around" with this and that phone number to call, this and that "other person" to talk to in order to get people's serious passport situations resolved, and all the while all of us fund these inept peoples' jobs... This post office is the worst. The supervisor is very rude and unprofessional. I was there to pickup a package that was delivered there. I asked to check in the back because the tracking number said it was delivered. Last two times they put it in wrong PO Box. He said he couldn't find it, I don't think he looked. Well, this is probably one of the worst post offices even by general Postoffice standards. I mailed a package which they lost. Fine. I filed the insurance claim and finally got the paperwork from claims which I had the misfortune to bring to this Postoffice. They had no idea what to do with it but after a lot of discussion they finally accepted the paperwork but refused to refund the $57 postage for this international package saying the international claims will refund postage! They took all my receipts to mail to the international post office. The international post office returned the paperwork back saying the Postoffice should have refunded the postage!! Back to this Postoffice, now they wanted the mailing receipt to refund the postage which they already took to mail to the other office. Really??? Never come to this Postoffice, they are completely clueless about their own policies. read more

Our community mail box was broken down into on February 18th. They ripped off the entire front door. Our marriage license was mailed to us from the court house on February 22nd so it would have been held at the post office. They lost it. I have received other neighbors mail when picking up my mail at the post office and expressed my concern because I had not received it yet. I spoke to the manager and he said there was nothing they could do. He said he wouldn't even apologize because sometimes mail gets lost. He said they would not pay to get it replaced because the post office "doesn't do that". Really? The other employees apologized but the manager was a jerk about it and didn't care. I hope they look at the hundreds of video cameras to see him jumping around like a jackass. When I asked for his name he wouldn't give it and hide his badge. I am a shipping manager and have the unfortunate job of dropping off packages to be shipped after our 3pm cutoff. I have to come here 6 times a week and have had too many uncomfortable encounters to ignore. I come here enough to recognize the 4 faces that work the counter. And one of them is extremely rude. She once went off on me when i used the package drop. A package i inserted was stuck. The line was long. I tried knocking and ringing the buzzer. When i tried to shake the package loose she left the counter and opened the door i tried knocking on telling me (very rudely in front of customers) to drop it off on the counter instead. I would lady but the effing package is stuck. Please forgive me for trying to drop the package in the package drop. I totally effed up. But yea every time i deal with her shes cranky and rude. She seriously should be delivering mail or working in the back rather than working the customer service counter. Eff this post office. One of my favorite movies is "The Postman", and I sure wished Mr. Kevin Costner would've delivered my package instead of USPS. Trustworthy guy that can ride a horse. That's all you need. [Parking] Not the best or much space. [Service] Everything seemed fine and efficient when I went. [Shipping/mailing] Because I rarely send out packages I utilized the "Priority Mail 2-Day" option. Not sure where the ball was dropped, but my package was and one of my items had been damaged. Didn't know it was estimated "2+ days" leading to case investigation/consumer affairs. Luckily, my point of contact kept me in the loop about procedures and such. Situation was really the same, but at least someone was reaching out until they locate the misshipped item. My recipient contacted me when it was finally delivered before USPS and about the damage. Again, can't point fingers really and it does happens (sucks) throughout the shipping process. For future reference/classes of mail (not all listed): 1. Priority mail (depends on status for eligibility of refund;maybe) vs 2. Express Priority mail (the guaranteed one that will give refund if something happens) 1.http://pe.usps.com/businessmail101/classes/priority.htm 2.http://pe.usps.com/businessmail101/classes/express.htm *I'd go with the guaranteed option next time if I had to. Overall: -Decent location. Be informed. Very useful in case entering tracking # online is worth crap. Great service and you have the option of leaving your # so they can call you back in 10-15mins so you don't wait on hold. So long that you will find yourself surrounded by PO boxes... funny, because the register is on the other side of the building. -Extremely friendly but excruciatingly slow and elderly Postal workers. -The self help kiosk *YAY!* which is almost always broken *BOO!* -The self drop off swinging bucket thing *YAY!* which also is broken 98% of the time. -The *smallest* and most confusing parking lot in Texas. Wait, is that a space? Where? There! Wait, why are you cutting me off? Shit! It's gone. Why are you trying to turn your extra wide, extra long EMPTY soccer mom SUV around? You do know there are two exits? Excellent, now you've lodged yourself across the entrance so no one can get in and the next group of people headed down Sam Bass Road can no longer move. Hooray! -No pens. Ever. And you can't get out of line to get one or the seemingly sweet elderly woman behind you will immediately take your spot. You're SOL. -People who cause the lines to get longer and longer because they don't bring a pen, don't ask around for one and fill out pages and pages of paperwork upon arriving at the register. I think this teeny tiny post office was magnificent in it's day... 20 years ago. Now with Round Rock bursting at the seems expect to spend your entire lunch break waiting to buy a book of stamps. It's always busy no matter what time you go, don't people work anymore? I have my PO Box here and continue to get some other family's mail. I've told them this about 10 times and they do nothing. Especially that "Tiffany" or "Loring Sneed" depending upon which name tag she decides to wear that day, one of the most unprofessional and miserable people I've ever dealt with, avoid her at all costs. I felt like I was back in catholic grammar school and being yelled at and having everyone one of my questions answered with another question by her! It was like she was my boss. Unfortunately, I have to agree with Mimi. This is the worst service post office I've ever had. Since it is close to home, I am forced to use it. I ordered something on December 5, online, that was estimated to be here by December 19. It did not arrive to our post office until today at 10:30. Instead of having someone on duty to work the drops that came in.they are leaving them there. They closed at noon and the packages will not get delivered,or slips into our mailboxes get delivered, until Friday. Woe be it to the rest of us that have to work all the way to five today, but of course, NOT the US Post Office. read more
