I came here to get an immunization exemption form notarized. The notary there told me they aren't allowed to do that anymore, and I could "go ask at the school district". Well I went to the notary 5 min away at UPS, who had no problem notarizing my document. I even had her check with her boss to make sure it was legal. It is legal. The notary at the Postal Annex refused service because he disagreed with my medical choices, which is discrimination. He lied to me. And he was condescending and rude. I plan to file a complaint with the Secretary of State, which is where you file official complaints towards notaries. read more

I have been to this place many times over the years and it is my understanding they are under new ownership the last few years. I do not know the new owners name, but the last three times I have been in there he has been exceedingly kind and helpful. They've taken packages and taped them up for me and shipped them at no additional charge when I already came in with a prepaid label. I feel bad about that since they are not making money on it, but their attitude and customer service will keep me coming back for years. I will make sure that I buy labels from them and shipping boxes every time I need to. This place always beats going into the USPS office which is always a nightmare. I've had a PO Box here for over a year & a half, and have also used their many services. This is a great place with great people! Never have I had an issue, and they're always extremely friendly & helpful. However, I'd just like to state for the record to the poor review provided by the entitled young lady regarding the taping of your shipping boxes...NO PLACE...that's correct, not even the Post Office itself...tapes your shipping box(es) for you. So, please be sure to do this & do not leave a bad review because you are informed of this. Nice enough staff, but they are not practicing co-vid social distancing like they should or wearing face masks even though they sell them. I was concerned because as I was working with one staff member, another staff member sneezed and joked that he must be allergic to one of us. That could be funny to some, but since he didn't cover his sneeze or wear a mask I was not amused. I just wanted to get out as soon as possible. When I asked if they had hand sanitizer, they only offered it for sale...with all of the handling that happens in a postal service, you would think it to be necessary. This postal annex is the best. The employees are always super nice and helpful. I love that it is a family owned business and that the customer always comes first. They usually stay open until 730 so that's helpful when you have to ship something out late. I appreciate their kindness and willingness to help me carry heavy stuff in. I have been coming in here for years, but their new employee has made this my last time. A previous time, this kid gave me attitude because I needed to add some postage to a parcel that already had some postage on it. He couldn't work out the difference that I would owe hime (simple, basic math on a calculator) so he charged me the full amount. I let it go because life is too short. Today, I had two packages and needed to tape them more securely. I walked in and he was serving someone, and there was another person waiting, so I took a roll of tape off the wall and taped up my packages while I was waiting. I then waited in line to pay for the tape as my packages were pre-paid. He took my packages, saw they were pre-paid and started to walk away. I said, "Wait, I need to pay for the tape." At this point he said, "You mean to tell me you just walked in here and took tape off the wall without asking me?" I replied, "Yes, it has never been an issue before." His response was, "Don't ever do that again!" OK, kid, I won't do that again because I won't ever be coming back. read more

Customer service is amazing! These men are kind, helpful, efficient, and generous! I was at the post office trying to get a passport for my son. The post office required a photocopy of my drivers license and I didn't bring one. They don't have one for customers to use, so I had to run over to the postal annex in a BIG hurry to grab one and get back before my appointment for the passport was up. Those guys had me in and out in under 5 minutes. The most amazing part... I only had a CC ( no cash), so I grabbed a bottle of water to at least spend more than $ 0.35 in the stop. They kindly informed me that the can't charge less than $5 on a CC. I started to put the water back and head to the car to dig for change, but the man just politely said, "don't worry about it. You'll pay me back." I know it sounds small ( I think my total was $1.35) but this floored me. This kind of service and trust is unheard of these days! I definitely made my way back with cash a little later and will find my way back to this store for any postal needs. Just, wow! Go there! read more

complete rip-off. I have shipped twice from this place and you have to beg to get the USPS price instead of FedEx and UPS. Once the price was $10 more than est using the web. The 2nd time the "lowest" price was FedEx and it was over $20 (the package was small and light). I asked why and she said "because of the time of year" (it was near Christmas). Avoid! Probably all of these positive reviews were faked by the owners. The lady at the front desk promised 'professional passport/visa photos' but made several mistakes with their sub-par camera and printer (dots, imperfections, and wrong dimensions - all points for rejection for a visa/passport application). I asked for a re-print and re-cut of the photo but was given the 'look' by the lady and told me to cut it myself. The 2nd photo came out with a smudge on my face and she refused to re-print when I politely asked (even offered to pay extra), and she got angry and offered to refund my money and basically said "we can't help you". What an attitude. I practically had to beg for a final print and cut them myself, realizing later that the pictures had shadows in them anyway due to poor picture taking and lighting. So had to discard and go to Walgreens. Would never come here again for any important photos for passports/visa or any postal for that matter, it's never worth paying $15 for poor photos and so much attitude. read more
