Rude is all I can say. I've been in several times to ship return packages. It always seems like a burden to them. I called recently to see about notary services and because I would not arrive until 10 minutes before they closed, the lady told me not to come and literally said, "No not going to work." And then hung up. It was one signature and a verification of ID. Would have taken 2 mins top. I do mobile notaries, so I knew this would not be a lot of time. She just didn't want to bother with it. So sad to not be able to support a small local business, but at this point, I'm done with them and will stop referring them to my customers for mailing and notary services (when I'm not available). One star bc I do tend to buy cute things when I go in, but I won't be going in anymore. read more

The most convenient option when shipping - so much better than the post office! They work with USPS, UPS, and FedEx so they can tell you the best option for pricing, delivery, etc. Addresses you've shipped to in the past are also saved in their system which makes mailing my Christmas packages so much more convenient! The shop is also very cute and a reliable place to pick up a gift. I love having a little boutique right next to my neighborhood. read more

Came to leave a bad review and saw the other bad reviews - not at all surprised. Had a box for my business here for a year. During my contract I was never once contacted if any mail or packages arrived, and when the box expired and I did not realize it, every one of my packages was discarded and I was never contacted by the owner. They just threw everything out. Hundreds of dollars worth of product. The woman I spoke with at the front desk, who emphasized that she is "not the owner," at first tried to say that they email you regarding packages - but I never once received an email much less a call. Then she went into "it's not my responsibility" mode. They don't care about your mail or your business, they just want your money. Rather than pick up the phone to call you (I double checked they had my contact info) or even email you, they're happy to throw your mail out. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not give these people your business. read more

It's been a while since I've been here. And again, it was really cool to walk around and see all their items. They have clothing, baby clothes, jewelry, candles, greeting cards, kitchen towels, perfume, and a lot more. This is not your every day post office. They even have a beautiful chocolate lab that just chills under a table on her own little bed. read more

Customer service was very poor. I needed to mail a package and I wasn't sure about the instructions but instead of the lady trying to help me figure it out, she just went and started talking to another lady that I guess was more interesting because she was probably going to spend money there, so the lady ran off, ignored me and just let me know that they don't have anything to do with the way things are handled. I simply just needed some help, figuring out the instructions for mailing it out.. she immediately walked off and started shopping. ( literally)with the other customer . absolutely atrocious and disgusting. I stood there and asked the other lady if I needed to do anything else with the package and at least she let me know that they would tape it up and she gave me my receipt. read more

Friendly staff. Short waits to get things mailed. They have a person who notarizes on site. They office dog is sweet. A great specialty gift shop too with jewelry and tshirts. Amazon sent the wrong item, and approved a return through a UPS partner. They listed this location as a UPS drop-off point, and when I tried to bring the box in for return, an incredibly grouchy, older woman read me the riot act about how they don't have time or space to deal with me, and invited me to go to another UPS location. It's easy for me to see why this place is always desolate: come for the pointless trinkets to trash up your house with, and stay for the berating by an old woman in Woodstock gear. ‍ Apparently, hippies don't need money, and by her own advice, you should go somewhere else! read more

I've got no complaints at all about this location. We go here for the majority of our mailing, and weather I'm sending something to family in California or my family in CP sends something to me at school in Nebraska, it always gets there on time, if not ahead of schedule. Their prices seem very competitive as well. Whoever's working the counter is always polite and funny. As others have said, there's plenty of odds and ends here to do a little shopping while you're waiting in line. read more

They charged me 2 dollars for a piece of tape that was about 6 inches long lol. She said it's Bc prepackaged items now have a 2.00 fee she said due to how much of their time and their tape is used... which also they charged my 1.00 to print my label from Their printer. I get charging MAYBE 50 cents for them to tape a package of it's a large one but 1.00 for a piece of paper and 2.00 for taping something small shut..? Definitely tacky! I've never "gone postal" here. Nope, never used them for mailing any items, altho it seems like they have regular customers that do as there are always folks in there that they know by name, which is cool. I go here to SHOP. And, hopefully, my W3 trivia winners can attest to the fun stuff you can find here. I originally found them when I fell in love with Fleegal Farms sugar scrubs and despaired of finding that item anywhere but at Christmas fairs. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I checked their website and found that they sell outta this little mail joint not two miles from my house. Fate, I tell ya. Along with the FF, they have all kinds of other lotions and candles, locally made jewelry, wind chimes, and quirky little gifts. But, my best find so far is Poo-Pourri (http://poopourri.com/). This stuff is amazing and it works and now I can truly say my poop don't stink (not that it ever did, of course!)! Ahh, some lucky trivia winner may find that out for herself too, lucky girl! In fact, I think "The Royal Flush" may be my big stocking stuffer gift this year, make the world a better place. I'll be takin it with me on my cruise, too. The ladies in this store are EXTREMELY rude. I went to drop off package the other day and I think her name is Hope or whatever the business owner is. When she saw me coming in, she didn't even greet or say hi or anything. which isn't a big deal but when the other lady tried to help me. Hope told the other lady "oh she's just doing a drop off." This place clearly lacks customer service and is very stingy. They charge a dollar for "TAPE' yes a little piece of tape to put on my package they charge for it. They charge more for the regular stamps. Charge additional dollar for drop off. Do yourself a favor and go to government funded one or UPS. I hope this places goes out of business for being so rude to customers and so stingy. You should ALWAYS greet t he customer when they come in the store instead of ignoring the customer and TELL Your employee that "oh she's just doing a drop off" instead of asking of they have any needs. GRIFTERS OF THE HIGHEST ORDER! I mail packages here (small eBay business) when I'm too lazy to cruise over to the official operation on 1431. I knew that they probably raised their prices a little bit to support their small business.. that's fine, no big deal. However, I just mailed a package there which clearly displayed on the screen 3lb 13 oz , and got charged $19.50. This being the most I have EVER paid for shipping I asked to woman if that was the cheapest option, to which she told me that shipping was usually pretty pricey for 4lb boxes going that distance. I don't know whether the screen for some reason displays a different weight or the woman was out-and-out lying but I thought that was pretty sketchy. Then when I got home and got on the UPS website, I did a quick price comparison and saw that for that distance even if was for 4lbs (which I kind of doubt) it still would've only been $16.00. Meaning they got me for $3.50 extra on ONE package. Wow, I will not be going there again. read more

Went here because I knew they were an authorized ship center for FedEx, instead of going to FedEx store because this was on the way to where I was going. They have no tape you can use. I had 3 packages, and had to buy 5 dollar tape, which was the small tape that would have costed 2 dollars anywhere else. If I would have went to the FedEx store then they would have taped it up themselves (which I had prepared for). The packages weren't checked into a FedEx facility until late the next day, which leads me to believe the packages had been sitting there overnight unlike at the FedEx store which would have been taken to the sorting facility at 4 pm that same day. In conclusion, they have lost the business that I would have given them because of things as simple as tape prices, and shipment times. read more

This is interesting! Either 1 star or 5 star reviews?? Hmmmmmmm....I wonder who the 5 star reviews could be from??? I would also give zero stars if possible like the previous reviewer. I have been here twice. I don't live in Cedar Park but am in the area often for business so have stopped by here for mailings and even bought a gift the first time in. That first time in they charged me $1.00 for taping my box shut. I thought it was a bit rude, especially since I was purchasing something... but okay, whatever. Of course I've never had anyone charge me for taping my box shut ANYWHERE before and I mail packages weekly. Today, my second time there, my box was sealed and ready to ship! Soooooo I was completely thrown off when she looked at the package closely and said "we charge $1.00 for packages mailed through UPS"!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. It became obvious to me at that moment they make up a reason to charge you $1.00 fee for anything!! They sure didn't mention that fee the first time when they charged me that $1.00 for the tape!!! I was appauled and told her no thanks. I was even buying stamps! I will never step foot in this place again!! I'm sure UPS will not be happy when they hear their clients are being charged fees on top of postage they've already paid just to drop off!! They should be ashamed of themselves. You would get more business by treating people fairly and you wouldn't have to make up fake charges. read more

I had to return a piece of jewelry and I assumed I would have to pay a little extra for the convenience of it be close to my home but I returned item, way less than a pound (a ring) had it insured for $1500. Going to NY. It cost me $56+dollars. Later on I was at USPS and while I was there I thought I would ask a question about shipping the item I just referenced and he said it would be around $20. So much for inconvenience, i'll Be going to post office. That is ridiculous. Save your money and take yourself out to lunch with the money you saved. read more

If it was possible to give zero stars, i would. This store obviously makes most of their money off overcharging for postage. While it may be convenient to mail here, you will pay dearly for it. They even charge a fee to dropoff prepaid packages! As in, a box that is already postage paid is charged a fee simply to let it sit there until pickup! No competitor of theres does this, including the store right across the street next to Randall's. I highly recommend avoiding this store and its owners, drive over to the similar store across Cypress Creek Rd next to Randalls, they deserve your business much more than the misers at Not Just Mail!!! read more

I went here to buy a box to ship my friend some chips. I handed her my credit card and she said she would have to charge me an extra .50 something cents to offset the credit card charge HELLO ILLEGAL. She turned to another lady and said that it was okay not to charge. I said because its illegal? She said she knew that it was not right to charge me extra to use my card. Lady you accept cards because its an extra option for customers so you can build your base. Im all for keeping it local but not if you are screwing your customers. I was not charged because I knew the law, alot of people DONT. I will NOT be back. Get your head out and get into the business of serving your customers with a smile and try not to piss them off to offset your cost. ... Charging Extra For Credit Card Use In Texas, a business can not penalize you for paying with a credit card. Businesses that add a surcharge to those who pay by credit card might be violating provisions of the Texas Finance Code. However, businesses can discount the regular retail price of an item for consumers who pay cash. Hope runs a great boutique and convenient mailing center. It is near the house, but I'd go out of my way to visit. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about, but I've been coming here for months and was ALWAYS treated as a guest in the store. Only had positive experiences. I was willing to pay $1 drop-off fee for some packages I was mailing back to Amazon, but she did not charge me. They were large, too. Made the mistake of stopping in here for the second time, b/c I had forgotten that they charge $1 for simply dropping off a UPS shipment -- all ready to go, just needed to drop it for pickup. Really? No thanks. I drove one block down the road and saw a truck. The driver was happy to take it. He said he thinks they only make $.80 a box to put it in a stack -- guess that's not enough for such hard work.
