First off, they don't answer their phones here, for when you have had a problem receiving your mail and need to speak to someone. So, I had to call the 1-800 number and wait 22 minutes to speak with someone. Then THEY called them, and they answered. Our postal carrier was supposed to deliver our mail after we had it placed on hold when we were out of town. He didn't for 2 days. When I spoke to Mike at this office, he apologized and told me I could come pick it up, as the carrier was already out delivering mail. I told him that I was not able to drive over there before they closed and that our carrier had gone 2 days without bringing us our mail. I insisted that they deliver it today. He said they would. Well, I guess I am joining the club of non-delivered parcels being marked as "delivered". Two parcels in less than 2 weeks. The 1st was supposedly put into a parcel locker and the key left in my mailbox to retrieve the package. When I opened the parcel locker NOTHING was there. How does that even happen!?!? The second was marked as "placed in resident's mailbox". Never showed up. I opened case files with USPS. Do I think they even looked into it? No way. After reading all the negative reviews about this office, THEY NEED TO OVERHAUL THIS OFFICE. Super disappointed. Wish I never had to use them again. read more

Never know where anything is, never answer the phone, it's an awful post office. If you schedule for redelivery it won't be redelivered, if you call to ask where something is they won't know or you'll just never get ahold of someone. Going to the location is a frustrating experience as well. They kind of force you to go there just to get any information. Half the time the package is just sitting in their location for some reason and the other half is just a waste of time because they lost it upon delivery. They don't answer the phone though so you can't call ahead to check. You just have to waste the time to go and if you work a 9-5 just give up on the missing package. You won't make it to the post office in time and it will never get delivered. read more

probably is the worst office out of all USPS. Aside from that which I have to send text to my neighbors and ask them if they found my packages in their mailbox, these notorious liars sent me an email saying that they made a pickup attempt but there was no package there. I was at home the whole day, mailman never showed up. I have the ring cameras in the driveway as well as at the front door, anytime someone walks up to my door the alarms start buzzing. i also reviewed all of the motion detected recordings on both cameras ring and Lorex cameras, there never came any mailman to my front door to pickup the package. additionally they were supposed to deliver 2 packages from different companies with different tracking numbers, but for some reason they returned them back to the station and noted under the tracking status saying DELIVERY EXCEPTION WAS MADE. THE PACKAGES WERE RETURNED BACK TO THE NEWHALL STATION AT THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST. So, I didn't request any returning of the packages back to the station, nor the companies (shippers) could have requested because they had no reason to do so. The only thing I can think of is that they loaded the packages onto the wrong truck that doesn't cover our area, and then returned back to the station, blaming the innocent customers for their failure. that's how they get away with, thinking that most customers don't know wha's going on with their stuff. in the past i've filed many complaints and the manager always came up with some excuses, saying that the regular delivery person had been out on disability for almost 6 years. I don't think that lady is working with post office anymore. I haven't seen her since the last glacial period. but they are keen to excuses for overloaded delivery routs. boloney, boloney, baloney. read more

Worst location in history. I've been unable to get our mail consistently for almost 3 years now. I've gone to their pick up door every week asking to talk to the post master and have been told to leave my name and number and they will reach out to me. I haven't received ONE SINGLE CALL. After 2 years and 8 months that means I've been there over a hundred times and left my number. To top it off, I live across the street from them. I know you may be thinking this review is a hoax, but I represent the storage facility across the street from this location and have over 1,000 tenants that mail in their payments, have packages delivered to their units, and all of our business mail. We get mail once a week if we are lucky. Payments, packages, important letters all just returned to sender saying we are inaccessible. WE ARE ACROSS THE STREET! This post office is unusual. They dont answer their phones and dont have a customer reception function whatsoever. The carriers at this location regularly deliver our mail to neighbors (we are a business, and some of our mail is CRITICAL to operations). We have recieved "undeliverable" notes when the carrier was too lazy to get out of his little truck and put the mail in the box. Here is the WORST thing: $500,000 worth of federal tax refund checks for our business were stolen from this post office while we had our mail on hold, to avoid having them delivered to the wrong address!! The checks were used in an organized crime scheme as follows: fake versions of these checks were created, using the same account number, check number, and same amounts, but made out to different people in different cities, and then cashed. How could this have happened without the involvment of at least 1 USPS employee?? This is the scariest and most scetchy USPS operation one could possibly imagine. Now, 8 months later, I am STILL working with the IRS to get my company's rightful tax refunds replaced. I have 26 employees at risk of loosing their jobs, and I may very well lose my life savings, because we may go under without this cash that we had planned to have eight months ago. Well... once again the carrier delivered someone else's mail to our address. This is constantly happening, even after I reported it to the new supervisor at the station on The Old Road. For a while the problem was corrected because the supervisor said she would stand by the carrier and look over her shoulder making sure she was correctly slotting the mail. Nope, the carrier is at it again. The excuse from the supervisor was that the carrier had a lot of mail to deliver. I told her that is not our problem and that I had seen the carrier racing through our neighborhood. OMG!!! I can not believe that people are that lazy in this location. They just do not want to work. Had missing mail for some time and even though they knew that it was lost in their possession did nothing to help. I must have come here a half dozen times with no result. They just send you around and around in circles. Tiffany and the plant manager, Eileen are a complete nightmare to deal with. In fact they do not even call you back at all. Tiffany recommended me to the better business bureau. Like they are going to do anything for me as far as my lost mail. I ended up having to file on line and got Jesse one of the supervisor's to get involved in order to get my money back. My package was insured and they still did not want to help. They REALLY do not care either way. Keep an eye out on your package and watch the tracking if it does not get there, get on it immediately. Came here to grab some mail that I owed postage on. You walk up and ring the bell, depending on how busy they are you will either get helped super quickly or not. They only accept cash though so keep that in mind if you have to pay for shipping, and no bills over $100, so try to bring exact change. They don't deliver pckgs properly. Won't deliver them to your door if your in a townhome, but also won't put them in the designated mail/pckg room that our homes provide. Then when having to go pick up your own pckg because they refuse to deliver there's hardly ever anyone available. Constantly having problems with packages being delivered by this office. Previously I wasn't home for some packages I needed to sign for, so I requested redelivery online. The redelivery never happened until I asked the seller, and they called to get it delivered. This happened with another package, so I put in another re-delivery request through the online system. Again they didn't re-deliver, so I put in a request by phone. Again they didn't re-deliver. Finally got the package almost a week later, right before they were about to send it back to Japan (and if this had happened I would have had to pay $20 to get it shipped again). We've missed packages even on days we were home all day, because the carrier fails to ring the doorbell. We had to put a sign out for them to ring, which helped some, but there were still a couple times where they didn't. I had a package a couple weeks ago come a week late because they delivered it to the wrong people. The people were nice enough to bring it over, but it took them a week and they had opened it. Another package was supposed to have Sunday delivery (with their deal with Amazon). It said "notice left". There was certainly no notice left and we were home all day. Saturday there was a package out for delivery, but then a couple hours later, with no delivery attempt, it says available for pickup. It specifically said at CANYON COUNTRY, 91387. So we go to the post office in a rush because they're about to close, and the lady says "it's not here, it must be at Newhall." They can't put the right post office in the tracking? Today a package was delivered, but once again not to our address. I wonder how long it will take to get this package. I hope whoever got it is nice enough to bring it over. We've also had 2 packages delivered to our address that were not for us. The address wasn't even our address. How can I trust my mail with USPS if they are delivering to the wrong people or never delivering when they are supposed to? The local office here is really the worst. This place is the absolute worst. As others have said, they NEVER answer the phone. The mail carriers are incompetent. They can't even be bothered to look at the mail they're delivering to make sure they're delivering it to the right address. One day I received all of my neighbor's mail and none of mine. They do call back every time I file an on-line complaint and EVERY time their excuse is that my regular mail carrier wasn't working that day. Really?! Are these substitute mail carriers picked up on a street corner to fill in and have absolutely no idea what they're doing? She gave me her email address, told me to reach out to her if I had any more issues, and everything seemed fine for a while. Twice this month I haven't received my supermarket adds. I emailed Priscilla both times and she never responded. I filled out another online complaint and someone from the office did call and fed me the same BS about how my regular carrier wasn't working that day. I don't get it. So, there is 2 male mailmen who work out of this office and deliver mail to my neighborhood in canyon country. They are the MOST CARELESS AND INEPT INDIVIDUALS!! I havent received any of my mail since 09.24.16, its been 21 days! I called the 1800 number and all they did was opened a case to investigate and no one even called me to getback to me as promised. I called their local number thats posted here on yelp and on google but both numbers are just ringing and no one amswers the phone... i went to the newhall, CA office to see a superviosr to check why my mail is on hold since it was the instruction on the note that was left in my mailbox... BUT GUESS WHAT? Even the supervisor is not aware why my mail is on hold and i dont have any mail in the office! The supervisor even told me he will call me but nobody called back. I have the same complaint as everyone else on here (it's not just me, it seems to be a constant problem with this location). (We have a community mailbox) I too receive mail that isn't mine (and I'm sure neighbors have been getting mine also) and put it in the outbox for the mailman to redeliver. I have had packages say "delivered" on their shipping status (and never received the packages). We had our lock broken and paid for a new lock ($85), it took months for them to replace the lock, meanwhile they continued to deliver mail (disregarding our "hold mail" request) to a broken box (mail was stollen, bills were late). Unfortunately, not every neighbor is good and honest and could care less. I really hope they clean house at this facility and get some new staff that deserves their paychecks. I have also received 3x someone elses parcel...mind you these are parcels not mailers that can get stuck in the wrong mail batch! It has been 4 months that they have not delivered our mail because they said that our main mailbox key is broken. The property management offered to fix it but they told them that they are not allowed because it's government property. As if right now they still have not fixed even though we already filled several reports, we went today after 3 weeks of not been able to get to that office there were only 3 junk mails for us.
