Avoid if possible. The workers here do not do their job.
For outgoing mail, there's a sign on the wall that says to bring mail to the window if you want/need it postmarked. I stood in a long, slow line to bring my mail to the window. Then the woman told me, "just drop it in the slot over there." I told her there was a sign that said to bring it to the window. She responded, "Drop it in the slot. That's our job, we'll do it." So why is there a sign? "I just don't want to take the sign down. But you can put it in the slot." Seriously??? You won't cover up/take down a sign, but I'm supposed to believe that you'll postmark my mail if I put it in the slot?
I've also dropped off packages here with pre-paid shipping labels and asked them to scan them and give me a receipt. Sometimes, it's not a problem, but once a postal worker told me that if I wanted it scanned, I would need to bring it to another post office, since this post office was just going to send it there anyhow to get scanned. Complete BS. Then I used online tracking to check my package and it took them ONE WEEK (7 days) to scan my package. What the hell?!?! This place gives me stress ulcers. read more
