Only one window open. --I got there at opening time today and was looking around as I was waiting for them to open the big metal divider. The floor is filthy. Looks like it has not been swept or mopped in months. --The place is in terrible disrepair. Tiles missing, chunks of wall missing. --Today was fine (not hot out), but the last time I was there-- NO A/C. Unbelievable. I feel bad for the people who work there. I had to pick up a certified letter here, but normally I go out of my way to go to the West Orange PO. They are always so much quicker.

It appears as though she is going out of her way to purposefully inconvenience the customers and I have observed this on more than a few occasions. I personally believe that she might have a mental health issue because she seems "off." Something is definitely not right with her. My advice is to just go to another location and not try to confront her. It's kinda sad for me to say this but I think the USPS hires a lot of shady people because there are plenty of "Kim's" out there.

Although there is no designated lot for customers, there is plenty of street parking nearby. Please note that there are no kiosks to purchase stamps or express mail postage; you will need to go to the counter. The hours here are limited than some of the other locations - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (M-F) but they do open earlier. For example, the Bloomfield branch doesn't open until 10:00 am so this is a good option if you need something before work.

They say just leave it here and your photo is your receipt. Well, I returned an iPhone to Apple here and stupidly didn't take a photo. Apple never received it and since it was never scanned into the Fedex system, I was out over $800. From now on, smaller items go into the Fedex dropbox a little bit further South down (and on the other side of ) Valley. For larger items, I bite the bullet and go to Kinko's in Clifton. When possible, I ship at the UPS Store. I am not accusing the staff of taking my phone. Someone else could have bene dropping off something, recognized what was in there, and pocketed it. I don't see how Apple can't block the IMEI or serial number as stolen, but they didn't. In any case, I am out $800 because I couldn't prove I dropped it off and until I hear from Fedex that a photograph is sufficient proof or Montclair Shipping Plus changes its policy to "scan when asked," I will not be dropping off anything at this center and I strongly discourage anybody else from doing the same.
