Was there a reason to be so rude? Another day, the website was giving 404 during online label creation, so I went with my package to the office. The man working there refused to take the package because he wanted me to go back home with it, create a shipping label online and then drop it off. Can you believe this? I'm avoiding this place at all costs.

There are no postage machines. That would probably help out with some wait time. There are never any working pens to use. Numerous times I've had to lend mine out to customers. I went in today, 10 days before Christmas and they had ran out of Christmas stamps. Their stamp options are highly limited and that's a bummer in my eyes. Worse time I've been here is during lunch time as the line can be super long. Yet, the workers make this place better!! They're always friendly with me. They're knowledgeable of all packaging transactions. I've seen them do their very best to even communicate with people who do not speak English. During one visit where the closing time is 4:30pm I arrived at 4:26. Doors were still open and as usual I was attended. 4:30 doors closed and they patiently waited for me to finish what I was doing. Great service!!

They said that they were going to redeliver the next day, and my son waited all day for it, and it was never delivered. It's important for the public to be able to trust the post office. While in Newark I had to send a document next day air to Atlanta and no copies , emails , scanned ,…read moreetc , is allowed .The document must be the original and arrive the next day or else I am screwed so I was lucky to visit a us post office that actually has normal, friendly , courtesy , professional postal employees. I filled out the correct label and handed the window clerk the correct next day envelope. Damn 25 bucks for a letter that weights less then 6 ounces but it arrived the next day in Atlanta before 12pm and I ain't screwed . Don't be shocked but this US POST OFFICE IN NEWARK GETS 4 STARS .

Review of Passport Services:…read more The Federal Square post office location offers passport services. I went here to replace a lost one. I recommend that you go to the location as early as possible, so you can be one of the first seen. There is a specific service window for passport services. You'll need to queue up there and sign your name on a list to be seen (each line is an estimated time slot). Then they'll ask you to fill out forms and then ensure that you have the right form of payment. A postal worker will call names off in the order of the list. When your name is called, you'll be taken to a seating area outside of the office where your passport picture will be taken. You wait there and then you'll be called into the room. After you get your picture taken, you'll then wait again for them to process the paperwork and then mail out your application to the Fed (you pay for postage). The whole process took about 45 minutes for me.

It'll update in their system stating that the delivery was attempted, but I don't have any slips to pick up my package and I'm 100% sure that they did not attempted the delivery due to the fact that I work from home, these guys are at the absolute worst in the business and I would feel much better if they just shut it all down in my area for this branch only
