I had gone to the uptown location to get two copies of my vaccination card and to laminate it. They did it in 5 mins, it was perfect and it cost $3.56 Today I went to this location to do the same for my boyfriends card. It took over 10 minutes while the Caucasian gentleman figured out how to make a double sided copy. When I walked over to the copy machine to tell him to press 2 sided to 2 sided and offered to do it, he yelled at me to get away from the machine. (This machine is not behind the counter, it is in the main area and multiple non double sided copies were already made while he couldn't figure it out). After this was finally done it took another 5 mins for him to get the laminate machine working and cut it by hand. Then he told me it was $7. I said for 2 laminated copies.... it cost half that uptown?!? He very nastily said yes. When I saw the receipt he charged me $2.00 to cut it!!!! He Cut it by hand and not on the trimmer and he did a poor job! I used to only go to this store and just went to the uptown store for the first time last week. Now I will never go back. It's not even the double price and the crappy job but the attitude and not knowing how to make a copy... when that is what is supposed to happen there. I added a pic of my good card that I didn't ge to cut and the bad job they did with the added fee. It was a normal Thursday morning around 11AM when I walked in with 3 people in front of me, I thought it was going to be quick and I was so wrong. I used to return just Amazon packages here and there was never a problem with a drop off but this time I was sending an overnight package instead. But it turns out the store was already in lunch break mode already and employees just move slowly as if it is a Saturday night hangout. Only one register was open and when I complained about it the lady at the only register said everyone is helping others(which I mind you, is not very persuasive given the fact one of her colleagues had an wireless earbuds on meanwhile another's hands were still in pockets). When I said maybe I can go to FedEx she said I should because she did not like me giving her an attitude after waiting for half an hour, what a marvelous experience. I understand they are not well paid and how much I spend here doesn't really affect their salary however the blatant way of handling customers is simply unimaginable, I'll continue to complain by all available means. read more

Two stars bc this place is close to my apt but for no other reason. During COVID the only option to print a label is to have them do it or go and use a computer on premises. It's 2021, allow for Bluetooth printing. The staff here is rude. Please pay them more or find other help. They were playing music in the back office and in the main business space and are short with you. The store itself is the sloppiest UPS store I've ever been to. I rarely encounter situations, or people, causing me to come online to inform others. I hope my experience is an outlier. Last week (presuming manager) the employee who is fairly muscular, had a strange look when I walked into the building and moved towards the computer/printing station. I'm a transsexual & going through my transition - He asked me to leave & said the facemask I had on didn't meat UPS Standards. I let him know I wore the same cloth mask into my doctor several times & the hospital staff has never said anything. As I starting typing - he immediately left from behind the counter and rushed over to the station. He demanded I leave as he, *literally*, put his hand in front of the computer screen to obstruct viewing of the screen. My mask was more than appropriate and it seemed this was classic transphobia - I hope this wasn't the same experience as others have had but I hope something changes read more

What an awful experience. I've brought in an envelope that needed to be delivered within two days. They said they could do it by USPS. The envelope was not delivered on time. I called them and found out that what they did not tell me is that they have their USPS letters and parcels picked up the NEXT day. As a result of this, I missed an important deadline. All they had to do was tell me this, and I would have just walked to the US Postal Service and mailed it there. Someone should sue their butts off because of this. This location is great. The only ding on a star is because parking is a nightmare here (walk or take public transit-there's a bus stop right outside). This place is always fast, efficient, skilled at amazon returns which is a plus for me because I buy so much from there and often need to do returns! They have extended hours vs a post office, which is great, and a computer where you. An print out labels, etc (for poshmark or amazon returns or anything else). Just be careful because they charge an arm and a leg for the time utilizing the computer in addition to the print out, so if it have the option at home or work-do it there. read more

Shipping? Printing? Anythinging? Go here. The staff are the nicest people you'll ever meet. I came in with a prepaid label to ship a faulty pre-lit christmas tree back to Frontgate. I threw away the box back in December when we got the tree, only to discover a lot of pre-lit lights not pre-lighting only a week after we put it up. So yes, I had a three part fake christmas tree with stand squished into the backseat of my car. I fully expected to park far, and make multiple trips out to carry increasingly large pieces of fake tree down Washington Street. Not the case. I managed to park pretty close, but went in the store first to make sure they had a box big enough. They didn't, but they said they would make one out of two of their largest boxes. Awesome. When I told them what I was shipping, they offered to come outside and help me carry it in so I didn't have to make multiple trips. (It is 19 degrees out and windy, so that was a huge win in my book.) We dropped everything off on the counter, I paid a standard pack-up-the-box fee, and then they said I was all set. All set? For some reason I fully expected to have to stand there and watch, or at least help them. Nope. They assured me it would be done and all of the small parts and return paperwork would be included in the box. I was in and out in 5 minutes and fully prepared to spend at least 30 in there. I even paid for 45 minutes of street parking just to be safe. I celebrated with a Starbucks on my way back to my car and went on my way. Awesome people, great service, no stress whatsoever. There are a couple of shipping places in Hoboken, but this is the only one i'll be going to from now on. read more

I'm not a regular shipper like many, so I appreciated the professional demeanor I received when I called the store to get information. Worst staff ever and taking advantage of customers during the current COVID-19 pandemic. I went there yesterday to send brownies to my sister in south jersey for her bday they indicated it will take upto a week to get there given the current circumstances if I do ground delivery and then quoted me the cost of $45+ for next delivery to get there in the evening and $80+ for the morning baffled I walked out. I called the uptown location they were courteous and assured me that there are no delays w/ ground transportation will be at most 2 days to deliver to south jersey....I went there and sent it for $12 and today got confirmation that the package was delivered within 18hours! They say hello when you walk in and all the staff is hard at work helping customers. It was honestly refreshing to see. The woman who helped me today really put a smile on my face. Having just started an eBay business, I needed a box - just the beginning of about 450 shipments. The total, with tax, came to about $8.50. I attempted to use my Amex card - only to be told that I needed to spend at least $10.00 or else I had to use cash. I tried to insist that I will not use cash, and they insisted that they won't sell me. Their calm arrogance at reciting their rules to me of course ignored my own - that I only use my credit card as it is an accounting tool as well as a method of earning "points". Finally, my raised voice was answered by being told I could leave. And so I did - leaving my other 449 shipments to be given to someone else. read more

My experience with this store has been a nightmare. I spent thousands of dollars to ship my boxes, insuring all of them. Multiple boxes were damaged and their contents destroyed. No one at this establishment, least of all the owner, was effective is remedying this situation. Six months, many unreturned phone calls and emails later, and I still have not received remuneration for my destroyed goods. I don't know how they've stayed in business this long. read more

All my previous trips to the United States Postal Service are filled with miserable, angry, rude, and unprofessional workers who just scare me. But that does not exist at this UPS Store, even though I was sort of preparing myself for it. In fact, I got the complete opposite. The staff welcomes you with a smile, they don't yell, and they answer all your questions without an attitude. It seems like they are happy individuals. My kind of people. It's a clean place, everything looks organized, and there were no long lines. Seems silly to be so enthusiastic about a UPS store but when I experience amazing customer service, I have to spread the word (same goes for bad service ;) This place is run by SUPERMAN. I think his name is Jon (Asian/American guy). He is so swift, efficient, polite and helpful. He knows how to run a business. My toddler fell onto a metal shovel at the front of the shop and he was extremely helpful, getting the first aid kit and showing that he did care.
