This place is a joke! If I can leave a zero star review I would. Who ever does the deliveries for Sundays is beyond lazy. They will scan that your package(s) were delivered to your door/mail box when it wasn't. This has happened morn than once. If you're too damn lazy to do your job, find a new line of work. I realized why USPS is closing left and right! Because they're stupid. I've been tracking my package... and at 10:26am it states (AND I QUOTE) "Notice Left (Business Closed). No notice was left, and WE were open since 6am that morning till 5pm.... there was over 10 employees and no one saw any post office driver nor the notice. so later on the day I called this post office and LUCKILY the package made it back there, so I went there my self and picked up the package. This place is an absolute disaster when it comes to losing packages , and customer service . I have my own t shirt business and live right down the street from them . At least once a week I have one package that goes missing or tracking never updates which causes me to lose money and customers ! And don't even try to call them for any thing , for as long as they make you wait at the customer service door , at least you will eventually get to speak with someone . I've called them for two hours straight non stop and I just kept getting someone picking up and then immediately hanging up ! Horrible horribly service ! Ok so I came here probably 2 weeks ago after calling in first. I spoke to a man who gave me horrible attitude. I was asking to inquire about a package that had been posted as delivered but was not at my door nor at the office. The guy informs me what I already know that's the status says delivered. I tell him yes I can see that too but I don't have the package. So he asked was it Amazon they tell us to just leave it. I say no it was a private company. Here's what ensued for 5 min Him: you sure Me: yes positive. Him: oh ok well file a claim I don't know what to tell you then Me: and how do to do that? I thought when you weren't home usps was supposed to leave a note on the door? Him: maybe you should've been home and not on vacation Me: I wasn't on vacation I was working. (No attitude by the way) Him: go on the website and file a claim. Like I said I can't do anything about it. Next time you know better Me: can I do this in person? Him: no online only. Me: are you sure I can't come down there and do it in person? Him: (sighs deeply like I'm bothering him) NO. Online only. Okay?!? Me: well thanks have a great day (of course through clenched teeth at the point). Ok so I hang up and am almost in tears I'm so pissed. I take the time to drive the 10 minutes to the post office just to lodge a complaint. A lady helped me and I told her the issue with the guy on the phone she smiles and says she has an idea about who it could be and directs me to a manager AFTER helping me look up the info for my missing package. Bravo lady thanks! Anyway I see a manager go through the same Convo and he leaves to do some investigating. Literally checking All the packages they have to be sure that mine was not there. Now while I'm waiting people are coming and going and I'm ringing the bell to bring someone to the door for them. One couple (super sweet btw) was there while the manager was asking me about the package. They didn't seem to think he was very nice to which I told them he was much nicer than the guy i spoke to on the phone. And layed out the whole story for them. Lo and behold someone comes to the window to help them and surprised surprise I hear that familiar voice from the phone. They hand this guy a pink silk for mail pick up (they were just getting back in the country) and he says oh great you put your mail on hold. I had someone call in earlier crying wah wah my package was lost wah wah it's not here blah blah blah (he's literally talking like this and making the sounds yall) so the lady says you know she's right here the person you're talking about? To which I chime in yeah you're talking about me I was the person On the phone. He shuts up so fast and starts to chuckle "hehe well are you getting help" Me: yeah much more than I got from you Him: hehehehehe Me: hahahah a yeah I'm not laughing you're so ignorant. Him: hehehehehe Me: (moves away from the window) you really don't deserve to have a job you know that right? Me: ( to the lady) I'm just really glad my grandparents raised me the right way. She nods in agreement. The entire time this lady and her husband are looking at him in disbelief like are you seriously gonna talk shit about her and then laugh and try to cover it up but still be an asshole. She's giving me this look like I'd understand if you punched him. Ok so they get their stuff and wish me the best tell me to complain and leave. There's also this older guy maybe mid to late 30s who's like a silent knight in all this he was definitely ex military he's looking like he's gonna sock the guy in the mouth and giving me this I got you battle look like just keep calm just keep calm. The kicker is this guy the ignorant worker was old enough to be my grandad. Definitely older than 50 ( which is older than my daddy) he had no class no manners no people skills. Like dude this is your job you're customer service wth. So of course I go back to the lady who helped me first and i asked her for his name and tell her what just transpired. She's in disbelief and is like I knew it had to be him ok so the manager comes out while we're talking and he fills me in and then she says hey tell him what happened with the guy so you can file a complaint. I tell him and he has this look like shit again seriously. So I get his name and I file a complaint via the hotline. I hope he loses his job .....and packages for the foreseeable future. read more

Always so rude here and not the least bit helpful. Spoke to two people yesterday who acted so put out to be at work. I recently moved, and I requested my mail to be held at this location, and they had not even one piece of my mail. I am still unsure about where it all is. I arrived ten minutes before closing, but that is not a good reason to be treated like dirt. I stood in the long line, and when I arrived at a window and greeted the older, white haired woman I said I needed to pick up my mail, she replied, "You didn't wait in my line just to get your mail, did you?" I told her I had, and she snapped at me that you are supposed to pick up your mail at a specific door out near the P.O. Boxes. Well, how was I supposed to know?? I got over to that door, and the man there was even more rude than the old lady behind the counter. I said hello, and explained that I needed to pick up my mail and was met with a blank stare. I said my name, because I wasn't sure why the blank stare. I was then met with a shrug and raised brows. I stared back. The man finally spoke, asking if this was a vacation hold, and I was a little bit confused because I am not actually the one who placed my household's mail on hold, my husband did. I told him I think so. He then asked me for my address, and I explained I had just recently moved. I gave him the old address, and without saying one word, he closed the door in my face. When he returned a few seconds later, he was still rude, said he has nothing for that address, that it might be at the new address and there was nothing he could do, to call tomorrow morning and ask the carrier. read more

Lady made me pay more for postage purchased from eBay when I dropped off a prepaid package I already paid and printed label for. Later I I verified with Toll Free Post Office Number and customer service at eBay that I paid correct current rate and she made a mistake and should have taken my package and shipped it as it was. But she said no you must pay additional .35cents you don't have full amount to ship it. She was wrong in thinking rates increased and charged me more. It's not about the money. It's the principal and not assuming I'm trying to get over and paying less for shipping. She should have inquired or asked Post master if she was unsure or assumed. But she automatically told me I must pay more to ship Package. I was Not happy they don't have correct Information on prepaid labels and made me pay an additional fee for something I paid prior for. Again it's not about the money, it's about knowing facts and not assuming they were right and customer was wrong. In this case she was wrong, since I ship constantly with same rate $6.95 and it's accepted and other Post Offices say it's correct. Toll Free US Post Office says it's correct rate or else Ebay wouldn't accept it and print automatic prepaid label. Also when you call toll free number to inquire of issues it it automatically goes to voice mail. There is no number to call & speak with a person or supervise or post master. You must go to office directly. I recommend removing phone number on Listing if your unable to speak with a live person any more. It's not fair to put customers on hold to go through call to just get disconnected. Please remove phone number, and please supervisors be kind to your employees to encourage them to be friendlier and more helpful to the community. read more

I have purchased Items online to be delivered to our business office and the postal carrier couldn't figure out where our building is and or the main enter entrance was when it was marked with arrows pointing in the right direction. Instead she marked it undeliverable and sent it back to the sender. Now I have to go down and demand answers on why she didn't do her job and why I have to wait now for over a month because she couldn't read or perhaps understand the English language. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service! My handicapped husband had to jump thru hoops just to send off a CD. He had his package and the Asian lady says it needs to be tapped, you can buy tape for 4$ or one of our packages so he goes to get one of their packages, the lady send him back to write the address well of course none of the 7 available pins work so he gets back into the line for the 3rd time and asks the lady for a pen and she says there's plenty at the counter and he tell her they don't work and she acts like she doesn't believe him and refused to give him a pen. So he is forced to buy the 4$ tape to tape up his original package and the he asks her to verify the shipping address and she say NO USPS Doesn't do that, hello it's available online everytime lady!! I have used this Post Office for the last 21 years, I have a PO Box and use a my home address, gone there numerous times for different reasons, always received fair service! Maybe you guys should try to approach them in a different way, it's not always easy to be behind a counter serving people all day who have different attitudes, some hardly speak English, and they all want something now ( can't always be me, me, now, now )! To all the people behind the counters at the Post Office on Sylvan once in a while you have the right to tell them to wait or f_ _ _ off!... Out of all of the post offices, this is where I prefer to go. The postal workers in the lobby have always been pleasant and helpful. One of them went out of their way to cheer a little girl up by giving her a sticker, which immediately ceased the crying and helped the mom out a great deal. I hear a whole lot of people complain about lines at the post office, especially during the holidays, but I expect that...because it IS the holidays. There are times that they could use more lobby clerks, and sometimes the ringing bell for assistance by the blue door goes unanswered for quite a while, but overall the transactions here are smooth. read more

Wouldn't ever go back. I only went to this office because it was close by to where I was at the moment. I couldn't believe how bad the customer service was. I was packing my package there since I had just picked up a dress from the dry cleaners that I was sending out. And I had just finished packing it when the lady called me up, all I needed to do was tape the shipping label on. So I was doing it quickly at the register and this lady gives me attitude that if I'm not done packaging, I need to continue doing it at the counter. Even though all I had to do was tape on a label. It would have been totally fine if she said it more nicely but she was so rude about it. Never going back here. Wow, so much for great customer service in Government business! I can't believe how nonchalant they can be when it comes to mistakes they make that affect us. All I heard was "the forwarding order is correct and I don't think that your mail would have been forwarded too." Well it has and I am pissed! The carrier obviously isn't reading it correctly because my mail just stopped coming and probably got shipped to my son's new address. The wait was long, the answer wasn't satisfactory and now I have to take a day off work so that I can stock the carrier and find out what is going on! It's a typical post office... That being said, it was spacious and clean and the sales associate that helped me was great. I mailed a package here and the sales associate was kind and asked if I needed help and then answered my questions happily. I had forgot to bring my own packing tape so he tried to find me some leftover pieces to use, which was very nice. Didn't have to stand in line long and they had a quick checkout for those people who were using credit cards, which was nice. Great service overall. read more

I AM SO FED UP WITH THIS PLACE! I don't know that it matters to give it a bad review. Seems like they haven't read previous ones. Constantly putting my mail in other people's boxes.I have complained, neighbors have complained, but to no avail. In the past, I have been lucky to have had neighbors that were honest and brought me my mail. I have also done the same. BUT a few weeks ago, I found that a box of DVD's I ordered for Christmas had been delivered to a parcel box at our locked mail box days before. GUESS WHAT, not my box! No honest neighbor this time. The company resent them and hopefully this the idiot carrier will put them in the right box. But this is what really PISSES ME OFF! I order my many prescriptions online, and they are mailed to me. It seems that all SEVEN of them were mailed to me on 12/12 and delivered to the parcel box on 12/13. NOT TO MY DAMNED BOX! The same dishonest neighbor? Obviously the same IDIOT carrier. Horrible horrible customer service! The staff here are so rude it's unbelievable! When my mail box got broken into I was forced to pick up my mail at this station! Every single time, they took forever! Even when there were zero customers ahead of me. They move slower than snails! One time I rang the bell, someone answered said they would be right with me, closed the little door, I waited 10 min the guy got my name and said he would be right back to get my mail, 15 min later he still did not return so I rang again. This time a girl answered and said " yes?" with the usual attitude tone right off the bat. I said " yeah he was getting my mail, just wondering what was taking so long" she then tells me " oh he went on break" I'm like r u serious right now?? No apology and still same bad, non efficient attitude I got from the first guy. Now that my mail box is fixed, I still don't receive some items and always receive someone else mail.
