She is knowledgeable and helpful and I have witnessed her be oh so patient with people. 3 people in line and it's crowded. Worst delivery in the US. Been waiting 2 months for a refund check that has been sent to me 3 times.

A much smaller post office with only one worker in the front but you'll get the customer experience that is severely lacking at all the other nearby post offices. The postal worker today was amazing. She was very nice - explained everything with detail and patience when I had questions. This office is a little more out-of-the-way for me, but I'll be using it regularly. read more

This is usually my go to post office. Um, but things aren't so good these days. Are they going to be closing this place soon? I just don't understand whats going on here. Parking is terrible. I understand that there is other businesses around there laying claim to parking spots to but you would think they would be more of an effort on their part to get more parking for their customers. For the past two days they haven't had credit/debit card service. I have to pay for my company expenses with a credit card. I cant effectively do business this way. That must be why there has been front parking everyday, because people cant do business here. They also don't have the express packages available for one to use without having to stand in line and get one then get out of line to write the address on it and put your goods into it. Other PO's have them available to use then get in line. Efficiency? The drive by mail boxes were also taken out. So you have to park and go up and put your letters in the box by the front door. Adding more to the parking problem. I was so irritated I left and drove up the street to FedEx. I was in and out in two minutes there. read more

This is the main post office that I go to because it's located really close to my work. It's really small and I have never seen more than 2 employees working behind the desk. That is fine, because they have such a small amount of customers that goes to this location, which is another reason why I enjoy going here because there's never a crowd. When there's 4-5 customers (which is rare), that is considered busy for them; but for the most part, the line always seems to move faster here than your typical crowded post office. The most irritating part about this location is their ridiculous parking lot. It's rare that they will be busy, but it only takes 4 cars to make this parking lot crowded. Most of the time it's not an issue because their amount of customers are so low and their service is always fast; but looking for parking, when there are more fingers on my one hand than dedicated slots to this post office, is an absolute joke! read more

I am SO dissatisfied and disappointed with the lack of service I received here. It's the holidays, so I came to have a few packages sent out. I walk in and there's a line of about 4 people. Denise is no where to be found until she comes out from the back a few minutes later chewing food. She starts helping customers as she's chewing. I'm in the back of the line and it's finally my turn. I tell her I need some shipping labels created for packages I need to send out. She tells me it'll be too time consuming for her to create the shipping labels. I have the packages and addresses all ready. She tells me she can't help me because it'll take too long. Isn't that what a post office is for??? It's not like I was getting the shipping labels for free. This post office desperately needs new staff. Since when did people get so unfriendly and LAZY? I am so disappointed, she should be ashamed of herself. Refusing to do her job because she is too lazy to do it. read more

It's small & the line can be long at times. You can pretty much gauge it by the parking spot availability. There are only a few spaces, so if people are circling it's best to go on to Concord or try again later. They don't have all of the inventory of supplies. I don't mail anything complicated, so that doesn't affect me. Overall, I prefer this spot over the bigger locations. read more

Oddest little post office I've ever come across. Seriously, I couldn't figure out how to actually go in, so I threw Chick in reverse and hit hwy 4 to the other end of martinez to a different one. And, yes, parking is a nightmare here. read more

very small postal office. with the covid i'm shocked they allow 10 pple at a time. it doesn't fit 10 at 6ft but that's what the signage says. the postal gal is slow but not sure if it's her or procedure. there's always a line. they are closed say/sun and no pobox's. it's a great location though. read more

absolutely horrendous! Some of theyre delivery drivers don't deliver your mail or packages on time and sometimes I do this get my mail at all. I waited 30+ days for a package I was suppose to recieve in 3 days?? I also received a package with a note saying they were sorry for damaging my packages which had very expensive crystal and hand made jewelry in it!!! They're needs to be some consequences for whomever is running this place because these people are rude and absolutely terrible! read more

Always come here to drop of packages for my boss! Every time I go in the worker greets me, I drop my packages on the counter and head out! Although I have never done anything but drop off packages i at least can say the workers are friendly every time! read more

UPDATE: Thanks to fellow Yelpers, I learned that the Post Office is closed in observance of Columbus Day...but there were no signs anywhere indicating that! I just stopped by this post office to pick up stamps and it was closed! I don't know if they close for lunch or if they were affected by the government shut down, but there was NO SIGN saying anything about them being closed. read more

This is the closest post office near my work. I was here to turn in my tax forms during my lunch break. This place is super small. They whole time I was there, they only had one person working and the line is almost out the door the whole time. Please bring your own tape if you need any because the lady working there will not give you any. I guess that is standard for postal offices. This place is ok to get the job done. Bad service. This post office operates differently than any other usps ive been to. When I first moved, I forgot to update the new address and my zip code was different so I was told they would not accept my packages. I then told them they had to because i already paid for postage, also the old address belonged to family members so it was fine if my mail as returned to that address. Then they sent an entire bag of packages back to my address because the label date wasn't the right day, which delayed my packages. I have never had that problem at another post office before. I will not be using or recommending this post office, period. read more

I've always had good service here but this week on Wed Lisa went way beyond what is expected of a postal clerk. At 4:30 after ringing up 5 packages and stamps, I realized my wallet wasn't in my purse. I was so close to tears when I walked (2 recent family deaths) in so you can imagine what this did to me. Lisa got me calmed down, told me to go home and get my wallet and she would wait for me to return. I told her 20 minute round trip if no hassles. I guess she used the next register for other customers. I made it back by 4:50, she didn't have to stay late for me and was so calming and friendly. I appreciated her handling of my crisis and near meltdown. I did give her a little gift then went to Starbucks and paid for the car behind me. A little kindness from Lisa caused me to pass on a little to someone else. read more

They lost a package of mine that said it was delivered, and I've been trying to get an investigation completed for weeks. They called me once, saying they needed more information, and left a phone number to call them back. I've called every day for the last week and a half, and the line is either busy, or no one answers and it rings for ever. I'm now out $60 on the contents of the package, and many, many hours of my life I'll never get back spent dealing with their incompetence. read more

The parking here is a joke, & the people behind the counter are terribly rude. The place is dark, dingy, & smells bad, too. Half the time, they either don't have or can't do what you went there to do in the first place, even if it's something as simple as purchasing stamps. Seriously, just go somewhere else. This place should've been shut down down back in 1982- it would better serve as parking for the neighboring businesses. read more

I come here to mail things and get stamps from work. It's ok... There was one time I came here and they were out of stamps? How does a post office run out of stamps? Other than that its better to go to this location instead of the post office downtown. Downtown you have to pay a parking meter. This location there is limited parking but it is very rare that you are here for more than 5 minutes. So if you have to wait for parking it's not that long. read more

It's small....and I like it that way. Call me old-fashioned, but when I see the old pic of the "Pacheco" post office, it reminds me that, yes, it is small for a reason. This AIN'T a MAIN Post Office, people!? Yes, a clerk or two can be grumpy, but when Lisa worked there, she was efficient, sweet, funny and friendly. Now, it's Kim and she's amazing as well. Service with a Smile and some kidding around. I'm game! Sure, the parking is terrible there, and the line can go out the door during Tax Season or at Christmas, but what do you expect. Really. For the building to be demolished and upgraded just for you? Adapt, be grateful it's there, be courteous to the clerks. I've clashed with a couple of them a few times, but they calmed down and mellowed out and we ended up getting along just fine. To be fair, I've had my grumpy days with them, too. read more
