    Passport office

The passport office--says they accept contactless pay and they don't, so I had to run to the bank. The guy behind the counter was condescending and clueless. Doesn't know how to use POS system. When I came back with cash, earlier than he had even asked me to come back btw, he proceeded to start eating behind his desk. It would've taken a minute to check me out. I asked if I could expedite my passport and he yelled at me about how it's not possible. Okay...relax. He also didn't thoroughly check my application. He kept saying "you don't haaaaave to fill that out" with the clause "nobody's forcing you" or "your application might be denied." Ok so then I have to. Why not just be clear and stop playing games. He also didn't let me expedite my passport. Acted like bc he already rang me up, he'd have to do it all over again and that's some kind of huge deal to him. I sat around 30 more minutes waiting for him to check me out anyway.

Outside. Passport office has a separate entrance.

I had a good experience at this post office. I was in and out in a matter of minutes and the postal worker who served me was very polite and friendly. I showed up around 11:30am on a Thursday and there was no line. Two employees were working. I just needed to mail a small package to North Carolina. I had already sealed and addressed the package so all I needed from the post office was postage. I was charged $4.44 for First-Class Package Service with 3-day delivery and USPS Tracking. I was able to get a detailed receipt both printed and emailed to me. The email contained a link I could click on to track the package. It was delivered in only about 48 hours, sooner than expected; it arrived around noon two days later. Wow. Fast. I liked the detailed tracking history on USPS' website. It was very informative. Like other post offices, this one is old and and has that distinct post office smell (kind of reminds me of an old library smell). This location is the only one in Marietta with a passport office.

The most helpful and kind USPS workers I've ever seen. Definitely my favorite post office!

"You're nothing but a drifter who found a bag of mail." -- The Postman (1997)…read more This place is super easy for in and out if you are dropping off a package, letters, etc... IF they are already ready to mail (i.e. you printed your postage at home and are simply dropping in one of the boxes inside our out). If you need to stand in line, I hate to tell you, but the lines here seem to always be long, no matter what the time of day seems to be. The workers are friendly and they work as quickly as they can, but this place stays busy and the customers are needy and don't always know what it is they need or come properly prepared. But all-in-all, it's a good post office.

It's hidden in the back of the shopping center on the highest level. And boy, is it tiny. (It is, I swear). When I swung by to mail one package the line was nearly to the door. Lucky for me they have one of those teller free computer package thingies. The line for it was to the door. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU However, it was right by the door, so it made sense to wait. During my wait time I enjoyed people watching these OTP specimens. There were young models as well as older ones. Ones who yelled on their cell phones and ones that were scoffing at the line. It was great. Anyway, I managed to mail my package without a problem. People behind me trembled in their shoes of my accuracy of touch screen selection and knowledge of the system. It was grand. For what it's worth, this place is busy as hell, come in and use the automated system thingy, you'll save some time (and your sanity).
