Mount Bethel Us Post Office - 9 days at the Post Office. - Post Offices Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

I have a proof of mailing dated 3/25/2024 from Mr. Bethel Post Office to the business license office in Marietta, Georgia. This business license renewal and check has not been delivered as of May 30, 2024. I have attempted to call the Mt. Bethel Post Office numerous times and after 20 or so rings, the phone is not answered and the call is terminated. This is totally unacceptable as I will incur costs to stop payment on the check and will have to personally hand deliver this renewal notice to the county. I am hopeful that with the proof of mailing, I will not be charged additional late fees and interest. Atrocious non-service - would not rate as one star if anything lower was possible! read more

To the local manager Karen Patrick, I am highly disappointed by your customer service. This is the third time my package has been scheduled for redelivery by your USPS , and there has been NO package redelivered twice and this one last time it was left in my mail without getting my signature after making me miss work for 3 days to be present for signing this package. I just went to track my package again and it shows it has been delivered to an individual today!! IT HASEN'T. After 3 weeks of waiting for this package, leaving a notice first time saying nobody was there to sign it and telling me I have to be present at home to sign this registered mail, they have just dropped it today in my mail box without informing me. This just shows your company's dishonesty and irresponsibility at this point. My claim needs to be open and heard by an even higher management team. This is a registered mail so for every single time you lied and said it will be redelivered on a certain day I had to change my work schedule and sacrifice my time to stay home and wait for the delivery service which didn't arrive and when it did they just left it without requiring my signature. I need an answer as soon as possible. I am not going to deal with your company ever again, not even if I have to. Just horrible and corrupted, this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. read more

I have used this post office for 2 years and I am generally pleased! Always smiling, asking how I am, and helping me with anything I ask. But people, I'm also nice back! Don't expect people to just put up with any attitude just because they work there. Some of you could smile too, you know. Dominic has always gone above and beyond, he's great. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the lack of information on holiday hours ect. I have come to closed doors a few times without any information beforehand. read more

I will surely update this review. However, I want to say if anyone from this branch cares, you've been holding a package of mine for 10 days. I have checked the tracking number every since it's been scanned that it's in your office. I've tried several times to call and you have the phone off of the base.Therefore, on my end I am getting a busy tone. I'm very reluctant to paying a visit to this location after reading all of the terrible reviews. This has never happened to me. Why would the post office hold my package without any notice as to why? This is absolutely the most abysmal, pathetic and worst service I have ever received. I went in today at one o'clock when a few people were in line to be helped. I was immediately told to leave because "they were closed". Despite their website, redelivery card, and door saying they were open until 14:00. They claimed they couldn't deliver my rug even though they did not try. I called to have it redelivered and instead was sent a card saying it would not be delivered. I finally went in to pick it up with the times I was provided and was treated horribly and told to leave because they were closed, even though that's not what their message/card said. I was shouted to across the room with many people around to "read the sign" that was taped to the door, this wouldn't help anyone who has to drive all the way to the location after being mislead, uninformed, and then humiliated. Whatever two women were working there on 10/24/2020 you two should be fired and take responsibility for how terribly you treat nice people that you inconvenienced and then felt the need to embarrass for your own negligence and sad existence. read more

I constantly have issue with this post office. For the ( what seems like) a millionth time this office has not delivered a package that was time sensitive. The laughable part? We are all stuck in quarantine and they have the nerve to post the package wasn't delivered because no one was home to sign.... NO ONE WAS HOME TO SIGN..... we've been on quarantine for like three weeks now! Literally was sitting on my couch next to the door that entire day, car parked right outside my door. I set up a re-delivery 4 days ago and still NOTHING . Oh and font get me wrong, they never deliver things on time, they never answer their phone, they never read the instructions or the fact that I have my delivery set to 'leave on porch'. It's to the point that I avoid companies with only a USPS unless I absolutely have to ( like this package which was sent from my company). read more

I've been twice and both times they won't let me mail because my labels are NOT perfect..... there is NO law the return address MUST be on the front.... it CAN go on the back!! I see some ( well lots) bad reviews about this post office, but as a person that has been going there for 25 years, I can't say enough good things about it. Some of the workers have been there for a long time and always are so helpful!. I am sure some days are better than others, but keep in mind that some of the problems are with customers that stand there unprepared! This post office gets worse with each visit. The fact that my apartment complex is already inconveniencing us by having us come here due to not wanting to fix the broken mailboxes, but the staff makes this experience even more unenjoyable. It should NOT take anyone 10 min to acknowledge the line of people waiting at the side door. Then, instead of taking all of our names down for one trip, they like to go retrieve mail one person at a time. Ive stood there waiting for over 40 min before waiting because the old man takes so long. Now, I time them every-time and I have yet to be out of that building in under 30 minutes! It should NOT take this long to go to the back room and pick up a stack of mail! Then, once you get the mail, its not all there. I have informed delivery and yet, they will argue with you that the 15 envelopes that you know for a fact were delivered, don't exist and hand you that one letter that is an advertisement. OR even better, they try to tell you that the letter in their hand isn't yours despite clearly reading your name on it. SOMEONE needs to readjust the logistics in this place! It is absolutely ridiculous that I have to deal with this every week, and with attitude each time. If you can avoid this post office, DO SO! read more

Well I just called their post office about a package that was "unable to deliver" at 12:59 AM! it claimed. The web site says they are holding my package at the post office "at my request" which it total bull. It is a couple of oil filters for my car and wife and I have been home for days. No one has done anything. NO ONE answers the phone at the post office. It just rings and rings. And these subhumans wonder why the postal service is irrelevant now. Phhht. read more

I used this Post Office location at least twice a week for years, when I lived in a neighborhood near by. When I'm in the area, I still prefer to stop here over my new neighborhood's PO. They were always friendly and helpful to me when mailing packages. Yes, there is often a line, (it's a Post Office, folks) but nothing compared to the West Peachtree branch in Midtown. Even small town Post Offices have lines these days. It's not their fault they are all understaffed. I just take a book and appreciate having a little "downtime" to read, while in line. read more

Rude, did i mention rude? Just plain rude. The only good reviews for this place identifies a woman by name (karen) Haven't seen her.. ever, but the rest are all there. Service is slow as they need time to be rude to people on a personal level, an that takes a little time and rude energy, so be patient and wait your turn. Hopefully the large lady with the beehive hair style, glasses and permanent scowl on the far right will have a chance to darken your day the USPS way. Yay for you! read more

THE WORST POST OFFICE IN THE WORLD!!!! The first time I had an issue with the long hold times of 3o minutes just for an update to see if my package had arrived to the location and when I called again KAREN disconnected the call. NOW, they're saying they delivered a package in my mail box, EMPTY. I have been calling this post office for the past hour, NONSTOP. Once again, the incompetent service by the carrier from this post office has resulted in delay receiving my package...this time after waiting nearly three weeks since purchase. The package - in USPS tracking - was shown as "out for delivery at ("09:02 AM" this morning, so I stayed home all day waiting for it, and kept checking tracking. At 2:05 PM. the status changed from "out for delivery" to "attempted to deliver, then held for pickup at customer request". I did not request a pickup, and it was posted about 5 minutes after the post office closed for the day, and until Monday morning. There was NO attempt at delivery, because I was here the whole time, and I certainly DID NOT request pickup at the post office. This has happened with other packages in the past by this same route delivery. I will contact the postmaster at this location on Monday morning, and have already sent email to USPS. This activity should be reflected in the job performance rating of this employee, and appropriate action should be taken to insure that this incompetence ceases. read more

I have been waiting for a package to be delivered for the past two days. The package was to be signed upon delivery but was routed directly to the post office. I went to pick up the package the day after it was supposed to be delivered but they claimed the item was out for delivery that day. I seriously just hung up the phone after holding for 48 minutes to some annoying music. For the tenth time I decided enough is enough. We get a lot of packages delivered/non delivered through this branch. If I could fire the carrier/carriers I would!!! Our packages have been left half way down the drive under trees, on our sidewalk, out in the rain and not even our front door, (we do have a covered area where that Fed Express and UPS leaves our package and now for third time the package is left ON TOP OF OUR MAILBOX! WHAT KIND OF BRAIN DEAD CARRIER WOULD DO THAT????? Rain or shine or even a package thief like we all fear it doesn't matter. Lovely staff, very lovely I might add. However they are understaffed and the lines could be around the corner. Be prepared to wait sometimes up to 45 minutes. On average i wait over 30 minutes. I go here once a week. Plenty of parking. read more

I have to say Karen has gone over and beyond great customer service. I have several international packages that had my work address in downtown Atlanta but my home zip in Marietta. I've watched my packages bounce back and forth from Marietta to Atlanta and back again. I called the Marietta post office and Karen was amazing she has been hunting my packages down for me and calling me when she has found them. She didn't have to do it. The Supervisor, Barry, has by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Instead of listening to my question, he continued to interrupt me and breathe heavy to where I could not even have chance to ask my question. Unfortunately, Barry is employed as a supervisor to answer questions of patrons who do not work for the US Post Office; therefore, who are not familiar with how to request receiving a key needs an time frame of when I can receive my package via the parcel key. Lack of anger management is not a practical attribute of a customer service employee. After having the experience with Barry I requested for him to transfer me to a different supervisor for more clear communication. I was then connected with Irma. She was incredible. She listed to my question and explained the process. I can only hope Barry was listening for training purposes. If his issue is lack of training, I would hope his supervisor would address it. However, if the issue is anger- perhaps employment in a non customer service area should be explored. read more

I didn't give one star because I recognize that these folks are overworked and underpaid... Plus they weren't entirely rude, just largely inept. They have held a package of mine for over 3 months with no notice. When they finally send a notice on Nov 27th (the day before Thanksgiving) to pick it up by Dec 3rd, they're closed until Dec 2nd. I make the trek Dec 3rd and they mistakenly had already send my parcel to "dead mail." Oooookay. "Well call you when we bring it back." A week later and nothing. SMH. read more

Wish I could give this post office a negative rating because they don't even deserve that one star. This is the worst customer service I have ever received in my life, anywhere. Every one of the employees I have dealt with has been horrible, Barry and Chuntney are the worst. The lie and are downright hateful. I am already frustrated because my package is over a week late and no one can tell me where the package actually is. They keep lying about who the manager on staff is and then promise to call me back and this is the 4th time I was supposed to get a call back and still haven't. I wish they would just shut this whole office down or get all new staff, it is so frustrating to already be stressed because your package was lost and then you must deal with Satan and all of his demons to try to find it and it still has not been found. Every review I have read about this office is completely awful, so apparently, they are always this horrible, hopefully someone will handle the situation very soon. read more

The "caa" will scan it as delivered & probably keep it. I had 2 packages scanned as delivered on 12/31 & 1/7, neither was actually delivered, & this guy all but said it wasn't his problem!!! This review is regarding passport renewal for child at this post office. I am deplored to report that service provided by an agent "Dawn" can best be described as terrible. She speaks rudely and treats badly, and it feels like she is doing big favor by taking our application. We are paying $25 service for passport application to post office and get crappy behavior from agent. There could be a different treatment depending on race - not sure - just a possibility. I think it is high time to outsource passport application to private company which can provide much nicer service. We (tax payers) should not provide such a high service fees and job security to rude workers who are there to serve us. This would be one step further in peaceful demise of crappy government service. I have been trying to reach this post office location all day and no one answers the phone. I live in a townhouse community and we continue to have issues with getting each other's mail. I have reported it once and it is now happening again. I've received someone else's mail three days now. I'm concerned that someone has my mail. I want to share this information with this post office, but no answer. I sure do wish Gresham road was our post office again. They answered the phone on the first ring both times I called them to get this location's phone and confirm I had the right phone number. I suppose I will have to wait in line on Saturday to tell them of the poor service they are providing. read more

If there was a way I can rate this office a negative I would. There was an issue with my mailbox and my mail was held at this office for what was suppose to be 2-3 days....I have not received mail for the past 3 weeks. We went up there recently to retrieve our mail just for them to tell us they are no longer holding it and the mail carrier should be delivering it. Got back to our complex and of course there was no mail. I called earlier today and spoke with the most unprofessional man alive who was no help at all. He went as far to say "well you just don't have mail or its been returned to sender for insufficient address". I've been at that address for a year and have not had any issues at all. He was rude and his lack of concern for my issue was unacceptable. This is my first time dealing with this office because I go to the one off Gresham Road (awesome) and it for sure will be my last!!!!!!!! They suck! read more
