Love when a post office closes before its own posted hours. Showed up well before 5 PM and the doors were already locked--no sign, no explanation, nothing. Apparently the posted hours are more of a suggestion than an actual schedule. Super convenient if you enjoy wasting trips. Might want to just guess their hours instead of trusting what's posted. read more

No matter what time of day or day of the week I come here, it seems like there's always a long line snaking through this post office. Sometimes, they're able to have two people at the counter, but more often than not, it's just a single person handling the entire premises on their lonesome. So it shouldn't surprise anyone that the last time I went, it took around half an hour to get from the back of the line to the front (even if it was 1:30 pm on a random Tuesday). There is a self-service kiosk, but it seems to operate intermittently. The past few times I've been in, it wasn't available for stamping and accepting packages, so nearly everyone who came through the door had to resignedly join the line. That said, the single person who I often see at the front of the line is always cordial, if unhurried. Since this is one of the few post offices in the area, my advice to anyone who needs to come is to leave more time for your postal errands that you think you might need, and avoid parking in the 15 minute parking spots if you can (I parked here once, thinking it'd be an in-and-out errand and found someone chalking my tires). read more

USPS - Long lines are common here - allow yourself plenty of time! - Post Offices Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Needed to send some thank you cards which is easier said than done. There is not an efficient way to get in and out of this location so plan at least 20-30 minutes to ship a parcel or mail items. I came here to purchase stamps and saw numerous customers struggle with choosing the right envelope, deciding on appropriate delivery time, and cost conscious about every question they were asked by the USPS worker. Some tips for success, try self service if you can. Know before you go, there are a few factors that determine cost to ship parcels including dimensions, weight, and distance. The extras are around priority level, insurance, and special requirements such as shipping for items that include liquids or batteries. If after all that you realize that you don't need to go to the post office and all you need is a stamp, then totally recommend buying stamps from grocery store. The cost of postage recently went up so if it can't be sent via email, you'll have to shell out 63 cents for a forever stamp which comes in a sheet of 20. read more

Hours are 9-5. Left at 922am as still not open. Seven other customers were still waiting for the doors to open when I left.

I don't know how this Postal Office is still in business. Coming from Las Vegas seeing this type of customer service at the Post Office is beyond frustrating. Literally one person working at the counter. I sent out a package that was priority mail to be received in 1-3 business days. It's almost been a week and my package still has not been delivered. I will never ship anything through USPS again. I have never seen a line from the door to the counter for a post office. Unreliable, unbelievably long wait, just to possibly get your package lost. Never again. read more

I stopped by this postal office to mail some items. Their closing time was listed as 1pm online. There were signs throughout the building stating that they operated from 8am-1pm. Yet, when I arrived at 12:15pm, the service window was closed. I heard associates in the back, but no one was available to help. read more

They are very rude. The worker refused to help me with my package. He told me to use the self service machine. The machine isn't working. Get back in line. Turns out he's helping others with their packages. Going to start being a Karen and reporting this bad service. read more

This post office is next to the Thai place in by LA fitness at acres Mill shopping center. This place is a zoo the lines are long people shipping for the Christmas holidays. If you're going to go make sure you pre-pay for postage didn't you can just drop it on the counter otherwise I would recommend you pay the extra for UPS so you don't spend two hours in line. The line had to be at least 25 people deep with one person at the counter who needless to say is miserable! read more

They have blue tape to space people out 6' during the Corona virus. I was 2 spaces back with no body in front of me and the nasty clerk asked me to get behind the mark. This place has zero supplies, does not look like it has been cleaned in a decade, and always has a very long line.

So it's two weeks before the holiday and I wanted to find out if they had any Christmas stamps at the registers before I waited in a long line. So I went up to the window and waited while the agent helped someone and asked if they had any Christmas stamps. I was yelled at for daring to approach the window and the guy never answered my question. I guess he would've preferred for me to wait in line for an hour to then find out that they were out of stamps. read more

BEST USPS EVER! Usually I'm not a fan of USPS. It's a necessary evil though, because if I'm paying to get something shipped, you know I won't be paying UPS or FedEx prices. Anyways, I came here on a Monday and before I walked in the door, I realized, crap, mondays are usually the WORST days to go to USPS. Everyone always piles up all the packages they wanted to send on the weekend and wait in the longest line ever to send it on Mondays. I thought I'd be here forever. Not so. This place had 3 counters open and all the workers were efficient and friendly. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes, and there was a line too! Thank you to this location for saving me time! read more

This is the WORST Post Office EVER! I wish I could give this place a ZERO!! There are more people living in the area due to 5 new apt complexes/condo communities in the area, yet management saw it fit to shorten the lobby hours. This means people who normally use the self serve machine and who PAY for PO Boxes cannot acccess the PO Office during times that are less congested and more convenient. Also, the self-service area is NEVER stocked. EVEN WORSE, the lines are always LONG. I pay for a PO Box and cannot get a package without standing in a long line. Today, there was one employee at the register and at least one that I saw working in the back, yet when I asked if that person could get my package, I was told no and that I had to wait in line. At other post offices, they have an employee come out periodically and ask if there are patrons who are only there to pick up packages. Which makes more sense because it makes the line move faster. If you can, AVOID getting a PO Box at this location. Use the Post Office in the Cumberland Mall. They are friendlier, the location is fully staffed, and lobby is well stocked. It seems that government employees have the luxury of running a businees poorly while getting paid a good salary and benefit, while lowly tax paying citizens must take it because let's face it, who cares about our complaints. Hope thus helps. read more

USPS - Post Offices Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Okays. I'm probably one of the few people to give USPS a 5 star rating but allll the start were aligned on yesterday because it was the best experience I've had at a post office in a long time. The gentleman that helped me was pleasant and explained my packaging options and it didn't take a long time to ship my packages. I'd definitely come to this location again! read more

The guy that 'helped' us was clearly in a bad mood that day. He was having a diva moment so he was quite bitchy. At the end, he kind of lightened up, but I think that was because it was almost closing time. Either way, we were only passing by this town and ha to drop a package off - I am glad to not be coming back here. read more

This the government at it's best! Worst Post Office ever! Line out the door on a Monday and one poor lady at the desk

Terrible. This location has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Understaffed, under trained staff and excessive wait times all hours of the day and night. I wish I could give this location zero stars. I went with this location for a PO box because it's closer to home, big mistake. I regret having a box setup here. THIS location is, in my opinion, the worst in Atl. Dirty, unsafe, rude staff make for a horrible experience. Look into a UPS box instead.? read more

This location is dirty with trash all over the floor. And they're usually out of mailing supplies.

I have been going to this usps for a couple years now and I always try and be understanding about the wait because I know that it is not the workers faults that they are ALWAYS understaffed, and I try to have prepaid postage so I can just drop off. Today I went in and the package dropoff counter was quite full so I decided to just wait in line (only 2 people what a shock) this still took around 7-10 minutes, once I approached the counter and said hello, the man working walked away and started scanning in the dropped off packages without so much as even glancing in my direction to let me know he would be right with me or anything. I truly do try and understand that they are busy, especially now, but I just felt that was extremely rude to just flat out ignore a customer. I continued to wait for about 5-7 minutes as the line behind me grew to around 10 people and he continued to just quietly scan the other packages. I ended up putting my packages on the counter where he was scanning and walked out.. Please give this location more workers read more

I am generally in favor of unionization and protection of workers rights, but these people should not have a job. The line is out the door and both of the people behind the counter show no sense of urgency. NONE! I finally make it to the counter and these f'n losers are unfriendly and unpleasant. No wonder this isn't a viable business. Congress should let this business go belly-up and let these waste of a space people find jobs where they actually have to "serve" the customer. The WORST post office I've ever been to. I had two birthday cards to mail and one envelope would not completely seal. I had just come from work and running errands, so I wanted to ask for some small tape to seal it better. I walk in and there's only one customer at the register. No lines. I walked up behind the customer being waited on and the employee RUDELY tells me to get in the line several feet behind where I was standing. I didn't react to her rudeness but I only asked politely if I could have some tape to seal the envelope. She immediately tells me they did not have any and cuts off our conversation. I asked if I could speak to a manager and she comes out politely says they don't have any tape while the unprofessional employee is laughing at me and still talking about me to the first customer. I left without saying a word because that woman didn't deserve a response by how poorly she treated me, It was the absolute WORST customer service I have ever seen. I honestly felt like if she was having a bad day, she did not need to take it out on me. I will never go back to this post office ever again. read more
