I was there at 10:00 this morning to just drop off stamped mail in the bins in the lobby. Though it states open at 9:00, it was dark inside. The outer doors are chained from the inside so no way to get in to the mail bins. I don't know how others would deal with getting to their P.O. Boxes. Absolutely the WORST post office. read more

There ARE actually a couple of good post offices in the US, and this is the best! The gentleman who works there (C. Sykes) is friendly and helpful, and a genuinely kind person. One of the greatest things he does is decorate the post office for each season. He goes all out and it makes the place look and feel festive. It gives you something fun to look at while you wait. Parking is horrible, the man who is always at the counter is shockingly Rude to customers all the time and goes as slow as possible. He reminds me of the soup nazi but with mail.. the behavior there is bizzare. I finally am fed up to the point I will be only be going to the Glenridge location from now on. This is quite a high traffic store usually. It's big, they have self service, regular service with postal workers, and P.O.Boxes you can rent. Self service is right in front of your face when you open the doors to go in. They sell gift cards, they have a gift card stand (Apple, Google, Home Depot, Amazon, Visa, Bed Bath Beyond, AMC, Barnes and Noble etc.) Not sure if this is just a seasonal thing or year round offering. Depending on what time of day and day you go, they usually have long lines. One good thing is that they are open 5 days a week. On Saturday, they are open until 5pm. It's convenient, but don't expect to get in and out quickly. The service is OK. They usually have 2 workers most times I have gone and sometimes 1. They do their best to get folks in and out as quickly as they can. One other thing to note is international packages will not be accepted for mailing M-F after 5pm and SAT after 3pm. This is a sign that's only at the front of the store on the wall. It's easy to miss. read more

The worst post office ever. They have one person that works behind the counter, occasionally two people. He takes an hour and 45 minutes for lunch and sometimes 2. You can't get your mail from the P.O. Box because they lock it up when they're closed, including weekends. read more

The delivery of mail is an embarrassment as it can take up to two or three months to get an invitation or a letter to somebody. Home delivery has been sporadic and one never knows what day they're gonna get their mail. Very sad situation that the US postal system is so bad. read more

This post office location is often closed during hours they are listed as being open. Terrible rude service. Do not recommend. They close for 1hr 45 minutes in the middle of the day. I arrived 2 minutes before they were to close in the middle of the day and the rude postal worker wouldn't let me wait in line at 7 months pregnant. read more

This review is for the US Post Office whose address is on Hammond Drive, but is in the City Walk shopping Center, between Kroger and J. Christopher's. I went for the first time today because this was the only Post Office in the area that was open late on Saturday afternoon. What a pleasant surprise. Even with a line out the door, the lone postal worker was fast, efficient, so courteous and polite. The line moved quickly and even with 19 packages I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Sorry I didn't get this wonderful postal worker's name, but she's awesome! read more

It's okay if you can ever catch them open. I travel for work, get off at 5 everyday and use a PO Box to have medication delivered and now have to go another week without. They were closed last week as well. read more

I had a great experience yesterday. I needed to mail two boxes. The young lady at the counter was so helpful to find the least expensive way to send. I did not ask her advice, but she immediately noticed that I had chosen a flat rate box that was more than I needed to pay. She also calculated the 2nd box to make sure which method was cheapest. Usually, when I go to the post office, I find it extremely frustrating and convoluted and many of the people are rude. Came to this post office at 10 AM on a Saturday morning and there was only one gentleman working the rail line out the door I came here to get a PO Box he looked me right in the eyes and tells me he's the only one there he's too busy and he can't do it. I kindly asked if someone can help me get a 5 lbs box that was large in size over the counter ... they all said that no one can help me and that I have to do it myself with an ugly attitude. This US Post Office is located in the Kroger shopping center. If you're facing Kroger, the post office is located in the set of buildings to the left of Kroger, along side Marco's Pizza and a UPS store. There is a post office located on Boylston Dr, but that location is primarily for carriers and is not a full-service station. Luckily, this post office location is maybe about a mile away. Service was surprisingly friendly. On a Monday morning at 11am ish, the line wasn't too long and things seemed to be working efficiently. This is still kind of a smaller, old space, but nothing wow. read more

I came to this post office the Saturday before Christmas to mail a few packages and to get stamps since the printer at the Glenridge post office kiosk only printed half of mine. There were two employees working. They kept the line moving. When it was my turn, Cedric explained that the kiosks and the counters were actually separate accounts, so he couldn't just exchange my unprinted stamps for printed ones. He told me that I'd have to speak to the supervisor at the Glenridge office to get reimbursed. I got a little huffy since I'd used the kiosk to avoid having to be there during business hours, but he stayed calm and explained that I should be able to call and explain the situation. He then helped me with my other mail and again told me to call the supervisor to get reimbursed. I thought he did a good job of handling the holiday rush. read more

The worst service I've ever had repeatedly. Today I stood in line for 58 minutes. While one postal worker tried to help an elderly woman (for 30 minutes), the other clerk decided it was her break time- while nearly 23 people were in line trying to maintain social distancing. This is simply the best post office you can go to mail your items. In spite of the place being ridiculously understaffed at all times, the staff keeps a good attitude with a friendly smile all the time even when some customers are being rude and condescending towards the staff. I always look forward to going to this post office and as always, if you treat those that service you right, they will provide the best service to you. Just because they are behind the counter serving customers does not mean they are less of a person. I have seen some customers treat their pets better than they treat the staff at this location. Come Christmas time, this location is almost like the Elf's workshop as they churn out packages being mailed by customers. I Love seeing the staffs at this location. I dropped my packages on Monday, June 15th and today is Friday and my packages are still sitting in their post office. I have customers who are waiting for their items to be delivered on time for formal events. It is not going to happen. I've been to this location many times. Most times it takes forever (by that I mean at least 10-15 minutes or more) to just buy postage for a package. The workers seem competent enough, although sometimes snap at you. I feel like it's mostly the customers (who don't know what's going on) and the lack of workers (one person at Christmas!) making it so slow. read more

Irritating is the only word I can use. The higher ups won't get these people any help. On most days it's one person up front and one in the back. The employees have mentioned how the district manager doesn't send them any extra help. I had shipped 13 packages, 7 were signature. I told the guy exactly which ones were signature and double checked when he was done. After looking at the receipt, he had only done one package as signature. How hard is it? Now I have to deal with my customers being upset because he's too incompetent to do his job. read more
