I got here at noon on a saturday to see a sign on the door that their lunch hours have been updated to 1-3pm. That's absurd, but regardless I was there before then so I thought it was fine. I walked inside to see the gate closed at the counter and a long line of people waiting to use the QR kiosk. It wasn't their lunch break yet, so I'm confused why this was happening. A lady was helping a few select customers through the side door by the gate, so I know staff was present. I'm giving two stars because at least there was a kiosk. My suggestion to USPS is to get rid of the crazy long lunch hours. Or have employees stagger their breaks so someone is still available. My second suggestion is to add more kiosks to make the process more efficient. If you refuse to have people working, replace them with kiosks so people can actually mail their items during your promised business hours. This review is for 415 Plasters My package that was delivered, I never received. My building has secured boxes for individual packages so, someone else in the building did not take it. I went to the location to find out if it was there. I was told that the carrier would check all the bins at my building and I should go back if it wasn't there. They should've checked if it was at the location while I was there instead I was forced to wait additional days and return after the weekend. I went back today only to be met with a postal worker smacking her gum, rolling her neck as I inquired about my package. I asked to speak to a supervisor, to which she responded "what's the problem, they're busy doing other things" I waited to speak to the supervisor who was equally unprofessional and rude. He didn't provide the information I needed to locate my package and was aggressive. Horrible service especially since they "lost" my package. read more

This post office is known as the "Broadview" post office. It's located next door to The Dump Furniture Outlet in the Lindbergh/Morosgo neighborhood on the southeast side of Buckhead. My fiancee and I were returning stuff at Nordstrom at Phipps Plaza. One of the returns had to be shipped via USPS (free return shipping). This was the closest post office to Phipps. We headed over on a Saturday just before closing (1pm). We beat the last-minute rush and were able to drop off a package at the counter with almost no wait. There were three workers at the counter (the counter could accommodate up to four workers at a time). Before approaching the workers' counter, we noticed a roll of Priority Mail tape at the line counter. We used this tape to secure the box more. We didn't realize you're not supposed to use Priority Mail tape if you're not shipping via Priority Mail. The worker told us this, removed the Priority Mail tape from our package, and offered to re-tape our package with regular shipping tape at no charge. That was nice of him. We got a receipt for tracking purposes (though we could've also taken a picture of the return shipping label to track as well). A line built up quickly behind us. At that point, the worker who helped us made an announcement to help those with pick-ups and drop-offs first. This post office is located in a freestanding building and has a spacious parking lot out front. Overall, I've had mostly good experiences with the post offices in Atlanta. While they're all physically dated and worn at this point, customer service has generally been good. read more

This Broadview-Morosgo 30324 USPS is terrible and deserves to be shut down. To be civil servants, they are rude, nasty, lazy, & provide the absolute worst customer service of any federal government entity ever - especially this location's manager REGINA. I deeply regret taking my packages to this post office location on Monday, 12-20-2021 to ship. The first 2 packages arrived at their destination 2-3 days late, despite being sent via Priority (2-day for a 5lb box & 3-day for a 2lb box). The 3rd package, which was a 41 pounds 4.2oz box in great condition was supposed to arrive by 12/23/21. However, the status always read "in USPS possession." To my dismay, the box was returned to me on 12-27-21 (despite online tracking still staying USPS is is still in possession of this item) in HORRIBLE condition (extremely weak, like it had been water warped floating down a river, holes in the box I could fit my hand into) with the PRIORITY postage sticker missing (I could tell where it had been ripped off) & a "RETURN TO SENDER POSTAGE DUE" sticker put on it. How is postage due when I took it to a clerk in this office who measured & weighed it, affixed the postage, & I have a receipt?! I thought it was strange the clerk asked me multiple times did I want to purchase additional insurance on the package. No. Now, I regret it, bc I am out of the $56.25 I paid to ship this. I went back to this location on Tues.12/28/21 to inquire why they ripped the postage off, and showed them a pic of the box back at my home and then showed them online tracking which stated they still have the item in their possession. An employee named Jemetris (sp?) said they would NOT give me a refund, it's my fault for not paying to ship it GUARANTEED PRIORITY EXPRESS, and for me to bring the heavy box back the next day and they would help retape the box so it could make it to its destination. However, I could not make it there the next day (Wed)(some of us do have 8a-5p jobs and this location's hours are only 9a-5p). I went Thurs 12/30/21 and wasted 3 hours of my life being mistreated. Seemed to be 2 new clueless male Clerks working who were unenthused to assist and would not help me secure the box (I bought a huge roll of packing tape with me). They said I should've came the previous day when I was supposed to bc Jemetris wasn't at work. They would not help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She was decent, said the box got damaged going thru machines or conveyor belts and that's prob how the postage came off. Sounds like a lie, bc I've never heard of US priority express postage labels coming off. She said there's nothing to be done except me file a $50 insurance claim. Unacceptable. I want a $56.25 refund. I asked to speak to the manager, who was I reluctant to come out & didn't appear until 45 minutes later (I had my toddler child with me), and walked around asking who was there to pick up packages or paying with a debit card. She didn't acknowledge me. I asked if she was the manager & she immediately had a nasty attitude. Then she contradicted everything the supervisor said, saying they didn't damage my box & that they didn't take postage off, that she wouldn't help me, i should've bought insurance. I asked her name, she wouldn't tell me. I asked for the number to the postmaster and consumer affairs, she would not give them to me. She walked off. Mind you, they had my box behind the counter on the floor where they dropped it. I stood there another 40 minutes. Ghetto nasty attitude unhelpful evil spirited Regina never resurfaced. One of the clerks said she left the building! Whole time I kept calling 1-800-ASK-USPS & could not get ahold of an actual person to speak to until 5pm. This location closed with me and my 3 year old still inside and they still had my box. I had to demand my box back. They didn't even have the decency to help me lift it & it was pouring rain outside. Thank you for ruining a child's (recipient) Christmas! In the future, I know to take all of my large packages to either UPS or FedEx to ship! Or at least go to the Pharr Rd location. read more

This place has gotten worse and worse over time. Half the signage lights are burned out, the floors and walls are scuffed up and dirty, and they generally pull up the gate to open a few minutes after 9. Today myself and 6 others stood for 17 minutes waiting for someone to come to the window. During that time 3 different people came out but no one helped any of us. The third man said they were short staffed and apparently no one has been cross-trained on how to scan a QR code and print a label. Besides never being ready to operate AT 9 (like any other legit business), no one there is particularly nice, and this is a newer crew. The last crew was AWFUL and this one isn't much better. No sense of urgency, zero respect for people's time, and they clearly are there to get a paycheck. These are our tax dollars at work. Disgraceful. read more

I can't say I've ever really had a "great" experience at a USPS. All of them are good or poor. Today, we had a good experience but I was also just picking up a package. For those picking up packages, they have a separate package window. If you don't see anyone there, knock or ring the door bell. Someone will open up that little window and help you out. Make sure to have your package slip and photo ID otherwise you're not getting anything. I will say that the employees here are extremely nice and polite but they will not take anyone's BS. You sass them, you'll get sass'ed back. Check your attitude at the door people. The one last thing I'll bring up is their hours are extremely inconvenient. By the time any working person is able to get off of work, they are closed. Then the one day you have off on the weekend and you want to sleep in, they are closed by the early afternoon. Would be great if they could offer hours later in the day perhaps opening later and closing later... but it's USPS so this is unlikely to change. This location is easy to get in and out of the parking lot. If you're just dropping off a letter with a stamp on it already, they have a drop off drive thru in the parking lot. Let me make this clear. It's not RIGHT, at any capacity for the bad customer service and rudeness of the two ladies who work at the post office. I am a service member, a public service employee who is having the worst issues with the Mail delivery. My bank told me that the mail in this location gets returned back and they don't understand why. When I politely tried to communicate with the two ladies at this post office they were blatantly rude. I have never seen this level of unprofessionalism at any facility. Whoever has a way to report them to corporate tell me how. They are giving USPS a bad look. I don't even know if the worker gave me her correct name when I asked for it because she KNEW her service was terrible and she probably gets it all the time, but PARKER (if that's her real name) has to be the most rude, un knowledgeable, inconsiderate federal employee on earth and honestly needs to be FIRED. I came in to ask about mail I put on hold and she was rude right from the start. First, she was on her phone as I approached. She responded "wtf is that"? And I said the apartment complex... and she then says "what's the NUMBER"? Uhm ma'am, you didn't ask me the unit # you asked me the apartment complex, don't get an attitude because you asked me the wrong question. She then proceeded to say "didn't you already pick up your mail"? And I said no. I have not been to this location before so no, wrong person Parker. Maybe if you looked up you'd know what people looked like. She then proceeded to go back and check and come back to tell me there was nothing there nor any "hold mail" for that address. How is that possible when my emails tell me otherwise and obviously state my mail is on hold and my informed delivery shows mail coming in? I proceeded to ask more questions and she stayed on her phone the entire time and just slammed a paper on the desk referring me to some online crap. Worst service ever and no mail! The U.S. Post Office is terrible in general, but this one takes terrible to new heights. Be prepared to wait in line a minimum of 30 mins, while the one rep they have at the window slowly serves the 20 people in front of you. Want to use the machine to speed things up? Don't even bother coming here because it never works. The workers here hate their job and they aren't afraid to show it. Rude, short, and unfriendly service seems like a requirement to work here. The customer service provided by Peejay Jones was above and beyond. He took the time to track down my package and when it wasn't in the post office like the tracking label showed, he personally called my mail carrier to ask if it was on her truck. When she didn't answer the phone, he took down my cell phone number and called me back the next day with information on my package and it was delivered then. He did this all with a line of 10 people waiting, and treated us each very kindly and with a great sense of humor. I wish everyone could be like this in their place of employment. read more

Lines, slow don't give a damn service, mostly one person working, less than clean, smelly it just sucks.! I go here and stand the lines for one reason. They have a guy that works at the counter, that just makes me smile inside and out. Im serious. Once I told one of the other workers that the guy made me feel that way, and he told me from now on, just wait for him to help you. He said it in a way that made me think, he's heard this before. Yes, there is normally a line. Yes there is normally one or two clerks working with a line of ten people about to stretch out the door. Our complex is doing nothing and the post office has already fixed it once and it was broken the very next day. When we went to go retrieve our mail we were given five pieces of mail after almost six weeks of no mail. Extremely annoyed with this place. I have not received my mail in over a month and I have had multiple claims started with USPS customer service. They told me my mail was being held at the post office (no explanation of why) Then my apartments the past 3 days have been renovating our mail room so our mail ONLY from the past week should be at the post office. But my mail has been missing for a MONTH. My new ID is in that mail. My tag has just expired on my bday and I can't get it renewed without my ID that is in that mail. I go to retrieve my mail and the guy at the front tells me "We don't have enough people working, and it would take us too long to go through all the mail to find yours" Like what? Isn't that your job? To go find my mail? He confirmed my mail was back there but he didn't want to take the time to go through it all to find it. Outside of this they never have enough agents and time in line is almost an hour. There is a guy that is fairly new who is fast and efficient. If he is in the post office you are lucky. My husband was expecting an item that was shipped via Priority 2-day mail, complete with insurance and a tracking number. Not once did someone come by, no one knocked, and nothing, not even a note was left in the mailbox to signal that someone had been there. The tracking said that delivery had been attempted but was returned to the post office. No one ever tried to deliver the package. I know this because I was at home all day. The tracking on the website said that it was available for pickup at "Atlanta, GA, post office." Not exactly helpful, am I right? After I finally figured out that it would have to be this location, I called them to ask about the whereabouts of the envelope. The woman I spoke with on the phone was completely useless so I went in instead to see if I would have better luck face to face. Nope, still totally useless. The man with whom I first spoke with would not take the tracking number and instead only wanted the address. I gave it to him, he didn't write it down, and went in the back for ten minutes. When he returned, he said he forgot the address. Shocking. I scribbled it on a piece of paper and he disappeared again. On his arrival he said that he couldn't find it and passed me off to his coworker. The coworker was sitting at the desk eating her lunch. I stood and waited for what felt like forever while she just ate and stared at me. She overheard the exchange I had with the man next to her and knew what I was trying to do. She too went in the back to "look" and came back empty handed. Her suggestion was for ME to call the substitute mail carrier that was working on the day that it was to have been delivered. Why is this my responsibility? And why would this man remember a single piece of mail from a week earlier? If the tracking number indicates that it's at this post office, why would the mail carrier have the package? Days pass, over ten more phone calls go through. Many more employees hear our problem, take our number, and say they will call back within an hour. No one has ever called back. They all seem to have given up without trying to remedy the situation in any proper manner. By far the worst post office in the U.S., John is beyond rude and does not like to do anything that requires him to move from the front desk. I had a package delivered there and they refused to put in my PO BOX for days. Came everyday for 5 days with nothing in my box because they didn't want to move it from one spot to another. The supervisors are no better, you call customer service and have to wait over an hour to speak to someone for them to say there nothing they can do. This is not the easiest post office to find, I'll tell you that. I needed to mail a card since it was going overseas, so I decided to stop by the post office on my way home from work. After deciding this was the closest with little help from the USPS website, I made my way in that direction, and proceeded to drive around the Lindbergh Road vicinity for a good bit of time before finally finding Morosgo Dr and finally the post office. It was off the little side street, very run down looking and not at all well marked from the street. The parking lot didn't look very full, but true to form, as soon as I entered, there was a group of close to 10-15 people in line to mail packages, buy stamps and generally waste my time. Super... The saving grace of the situation was a machine I spied in the corner proclaiming I could buy postage (even for international mail) there and avoid the line. I walked over tentatively, ready to be disappointed by yet another failing of the USPS system, but to my surprise and delight, I was able to buy the stamp I needed. I popped the letter in the box next to it after double checking my letter would reach its intended destination, and left without a word. While it was probably one of the least painful post office encounters I've had to endure, if I had had to stand in line for any amount of time, this score would have been much lower. I'm continually amazed that even during what you might consider "peak" post office times (lunchtime, after work, etc.) there is still only 1 or if you're lucky 2 postal workers manning the 4+ stations available. Why USPS? Why must you make us stand in line and thus hate you even more than we already do for all the junk mail, credit card offers, and bills you bring us? read more

This is the worst US Post Office I have EVER been to. This is my THIRD visit here, not by choice, but because the carrier had refused to try using the elevator to get to the package room. When I brought this to a manager's attention, whose name I couldn't tell you because he never introduced himself, he rudely responded with "to our knowledge, the elevator was broken, thanks for letting us know, from now on we'll use it", basically confirming they had not even been trying to deliver packages to our building. So...after my issues at the Glenridge office, where did I end up? Answer: not this post office first...I went to the one on Pharr Road since it was my favorite, but their electronic payments system had killed itself and I didn't have any cash on me. So I sucked it up and headed all the way back here, hoping maybe I could just use the automated machine. ...NOBODY was in line somehow, so I walked right up to the counter and was greeted by the nicest postal service employee I've ever encountered. At this point I was seriously suffering from post office burnout, so she asked me how I was and figured I looked exhausted. I'm at my third post office of the day, so yes, that would work. She listened to me tell my horror stories of the day and said to be sure to come back to this one anytime because they are nice. I mean I was feeling bad when we were still talking despite finishing all transactions and there was someone waiting. But she was so nice, I couldn't believe this was someone employed at the same office where I had employees snap at me at least twice for trying to find what the hell happened to a package. It's not exactly convenient, but considering the rest of my day, if I have anything I HAVE to mail at a counter, I will make the drive back here. I don't even care. read more
