Marietta's post office, I popped in after the retail area was closed by they still have an automated machine (cards only, no cash) that can weigh your package and tell you how much postage you need. Hooray, my envelope only needed the one stamp despite the extra paper in there! Easy parking (one way, enter from the right) and a mailbox so that you don't even need to get out of your car. read more

I've spoken to 4 different representatives and they all just read what the tracking information states, which I do myself. This is such a joke. And today they don't answer the phone. This place is full of grumpy old men who can barely be bothered to speak and one pleasant lady.

Out of the thousands of packages my business sends out every year, this delivering PO is one of the worst for misdelivering packages. Their initial response is to contact the sender (me) for a free replacement. Rather than checking the GPS of the delivery scan to find out where it was delivered so they can attempt to retrieve it , they try to pass the buck before doing their job. When they finally check the GPS scan and realize it was misdelivered, days have passed and the liklihood that they will be able to retrieve the package is greatly reduced. read more

TERRIBLE clerk people. Crazy UNHELPFUL. I arrived with the package and label on my phone. They said they do not print the label for you (which is crazy because it takes 5 seconds to forward the label and for them to print) so I ran to UPS printed the label came back and the clerk was giving me a hard time about not having the label taped to the box. He points to a roll of scotch tape across the room and watches me tape down the entire label with the half inch strips of tape. Thank god the manager noticed and simply handed me a label pouch designed to slip in the label and stick onto the box. WHY WAS THE CLERK GOING TO WATCH ME STRUGGLE FOR 5 MINUTES WHEN HE COULD HAVE JUST HANDED ME A FREE POUCH TO SLIP, PEEL, AND SLAP ONTO THE BOX read more

I have two bill payments since April that were taken from someone internally at this location! My checks were counterfeited and made to an individual then presented for cash at a nearby Marietta bank. My mail pieces were placed INSIDE in the drop so it's definitely an inside job! Every time I go in this place, I instantly regret it. The female clerk was almost confrontational to every customer. She also quoted a price of $33.00 for an elderly couple to mail a couple of CHRISTMAS CARDS to the UK. Then after some arguing back and forth, she told them it would be $16.00. USE THE SELF SERVE KIOSK ONLY. The line is slow. They never have anyone working. Once you get to the counter, they'll charge you for more expensive options than you were offered at the kiosk and be so rude you don't want to argue. You'll try to buy some stamps and get sold way more than you need. I walked away with a roll of stamps ($50) when I really only needed a book of 20 ($10). I just felt so flustered that I paid and left since there was a long line behind me. Guess I'll be mailing a lot of letters. Although, the post office worker warned me they might get wet and ruined? WTH. I can see why email is the new preferred method of communication. Once I'm done using my 100 stamps, I'm switching to ecards. read more

This post office has the avsol worst understanding of cusromer service. Went to send a package and got to the counter to learn that it would need to go priority mail. Which i do not have an issue with. However Edward and his supervisor insisted I pay an extra $1.89 for an envelope that I didn't need becuase i had wrote on it. As I tried to explain I would not have known the weight of the package before I got to the window and as they sign states, please have your packages ready when you come to the window. The supervisor even asked me what signs and where were they. Then continued to make excuses of why I had yo pay for this envelope instead of providing me with the courtesy of switching to a priority mail envelope free of charge. I realize that this is only a Carrier facility, but the carriers need to pay more attention to what address they deliver items to. Since our carrier of 16 years retired last may, it has been problem, after problem, after PROBLEM - Mail being delivered to the wrong address (which the resident often opens), mail being delivered to Parcel Lockers with no slip or key left in my mailbox, essentially, mail being delivered to everywhere BUT my home. Please counsel your carriers in the manner of a DI at Harmony Church, Fort Benning, GA and make it clear to them that given the technology they have access to from their little trucks, there is no excuse for this sort of shoddy job performance. My package is lost and I've been trying to call this location to see if it's here so I don't waste my time driving up there but they wont bother picking up. I usually do not write reviews or if I have to write, I always give a good ones...BUT...not now...I am very, very disappointed and hurt with this office customer service. That's why I decided to put this review. I hope the management want to know the reality there...I am working on Marietta Square and this is the closest post office for me. I hate to go there since the nice lady retire last year...David is not just not helpful but he is rude. He never greets, he always gives me the highest option and he even doesn't want to talk...He never helps me, even with small stuff like securing the package or with advice witch envelope to use. I understand if this is not on his duties but he made the box and wrapped the whole package for the women behind me...He is maybe very selective who to help and who not to... This post office branch is actually pretty decent. The employees are nice and helpful, and they have an automated postal center in the lobby if you want to ship an item after office hours. You can also apply for a passport, make copies, and send faxes at this branch. The post office can get a little crowded during peak hours, so if you go after work be prepared to wait a little while. read more

WORST POST OFFICE ON THE PLANET!!!! You would expect more considering these people actually have a government job. I paid to have an item expressed mailed to me with the signature waived at that. Well this lazy sorry excuse for an postal service person didn't bother to ring my bell let alone leave my mail in the mail box. Instead I was left a delivery notice which was half assed filled out with information that couldn't be confirmed by the customer service help line, why, because the information was lies. Now after 5 calls to the usps 800 numbers I called the post office it's self. An ignorant lady answered the phone. She was not well spoken and acted as if her mail was miss delivered. I had to cut her short and let her know I nor my sender works for usps. I was never once offered a solution to my problem just a bunch of it's my fault basically. I asked yet again is there anyway I can get it re-delivered today she says no!! So I ask well can I pick it up.....SHE SAYS NO BECAUSE IT'S STILL OUT WITH THE MAIL LADY ON HER ROUTE!!!! She's still at work on the clock, when I had a similar problem with UPS they came back the same day for that reason. I can go on for paragraphs about this B.S point is if you can avoid this place do so, they offer no customer service what so ever, and need to be shut down. I know that postal delivery service is a luxury that we enjoy, BUT? My Father God in Heaven we have to deal once again with the delivery person from the Sandy Plains Post Office for the 30066 area. The woman is brutish and as mean as they come. She selected to compute parcel returned due to, " Undeliverable as addressed" which was untrue and when my daughter reported her to the post office the mail was miraculously found and delivered. As payment for the complaint the next parcels delivered was placed in the parcel box and the key to open the parcel box was not a parcel box key. The key entered the lock easily but would not turn and would come out of the lock easily. An undeniable message from this delivery person, " YOU WILL GET YOUR PARCELS WHEN AND IF I DECIDE." As a person with medical issues I have medication delivered by mail and I cannot wait to be home the coming week since I need to be with my grand daughter in the hospital as she receive brain surgery. What else can I do? Please someone tell me what I can do to receive my parcels since the postal service cannot deal with this woman. We simply need for tis woman to do her job, what now contact the Inspector Generals office. read more
