I really don't understand the beef y'all got with this post office lol. My experience was great! I was the girl walking in with the whole box of things. On top of that, I was using some of their "Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes" so things were organized chaos in that little box of mine while I literally packed it, labeled it, and all that right there in the store. At one point, I was like "shoot, I need to purchase a sharpie so I can fill out the addresses for these". So I looked around for a minute to see if they had sharpies for sale. One of the people working there went out of their way to ask me if I was looking for something specific. I asked if there were any sharpies I could buy, to which point he opened the drawer in his desk and provided me with one. Now, I know it wasn't out of his paycheck or anything but I appreciated the gesture. Once all my ducks were in a row, I stood in line so I could actually ship the stuff out. I gotta say, the line moved pretty dang quick! Another thing I noticed is that everyone had great attitudes about everything. I didn't feel like anyone there was mean. They were all really nice and helpful. I got to the cashier person (I am not sure if they are considered cashiers or tellers or what lol) and she was super quick with my packages as well. I also asked if she could weigh my envelope to make sure I only needed one stamp and she gladly did that. All good things at this post office. Which granted, I did go at a decent time. It wasn't right before Christmas or anything crazy. I have heard this post office gets pretty backed up but cannot say that was my experience at all. Had to go to the post office to renew my passport. I got there early before they opened to wait in line since I was a walk in. The staff was all very friendly and nice. They helped me get my passport info finalized and sent off quickly. Overall, easy and breezy experience. read more

Karie is such a sweet and helpful worker! She is always so friendly and helpful and seems to have been working there forever! Disclaimer: If you go anytime after Thanksgiving, be prepared to WAIT, it's just a fact of life! Be nice to the employees! They are doing the best that they can! They had lots of signage on the floor for staying 6 feet apart, but with such a long line, we were all very close to each other. So they don't enforce the distance if you are worried about that. read more

The Lehi Post office delivery service is horrible. There are three employees I can identify on my camera, that regularly deliver to my block. Two are wonderful, they actually bring packages to my front porch. About 20 feet off the the street. The other won't get out of the truck. I've had to go to the post office to pick up packages that were "too heavy" to deliver, and carried them out under my arm. But this latest is the best, I've gotten two deliveries in the last week where the package was JAMMED into my mailbox, bending the hinge and left hanging out over the street. Just ready for someone to grab without even leaving their car, or better yet to fall into the street and get run over. I can't wait for Viek and Elon to get hold of this branch. Well I have to back out and bend the door on the mailbox so it will close again. read more

Someone in here stated that this post office is like Katy Perry hot and cold song,and I think that's the best description for this place..it's like whenever they have good service,it's great! But whenever they have bad service,it's absolutely terrible. Half the time,my packages will be shipped back to the seller or they become lost in translation, don't leave a proper slip at the door,and I can't get anyone on the phone,other halves of the time I get great people who help me find my packages and allow me to pick them up a little after they're closed. I have lived in Lehi for 11 years and this post office is like that Katy Perry song, hot n cold. There are some days that I'm in and out and the cashier is nice and others it's a complete nightmare and the cashiers are extremely grumpy. I ship packages all the time and when I lived in Provo I never had a problem with the post office losing my packages or them not scanning my packages. I then move to where this post office is the closest post office to me and in the month I've lived here and dropping packages off at this post office they've managed to lose 5 packages. And one didn't get scanned even though in that same batch they all got scanned except that one and now it's "missing". I asked the employees if I'll Still be able to file an insurance claim and they told me yes because it was in their system. I go to file the claim and usps says they denied my claim because they don't show it being scanned. I took the letter into this post office and they basically said there was nothing they could do even though they're the ones that didn't scan it. And now I'm out the money and the person I sent the package to is out the items. USPS needs to take accountability for losing damaging and stealing our packages but they just wipe their hands of it because it's not their problem even though it is. There's a nationwide problem with usps right now and they won't address it. I know many people who have had their boxes, BOXES!! Broken or tore into to steal the items within them. This post office seems to be always crowded. Cars are consistently coming and going. When I arrived after lunch there were 5 ppl ahead of me. The employees seem like they are trying their best to be efficient. I'm not sure why some people takes longer but when I went to dropped off a package to send to a friend, the lady that helped me was efficient. At most 3 minutes to pay for my package. They absolutely dropped the ball on my package. Claimed they had to return because of "incorrect address " Well I put it in personally, and it was correct. Now they are not letting me stop my package from going BACK TO CALIFORNIA. This is my first experience with USPS EVER AND IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. I called the help line twice and nobody helped. This morning I received a USPS email that my long awaited, valuable package from the Ukraine was going to be delivered that day. It has taken over a month to get from the Ukraine to Utah; I sat home and waited most of the day when I received another email that my package needed to be picked up at the Lehi post office. It's a long drive but I decided I needed to do as directed by the USPS email and pick up my package from the Lehi post office. After waiting in a long line and having the postal ladies basically ignore the customers, a woman named Mindy asked if she could help me. I explained my situation and gave her the information needed to find my box. She went in the back and returned empty handed and told me that THEY had misdirected my package. She said" do you need it TODAY?!" I said that I did. She told me that it was in the bin next to us and that her shoulders hurt so she couldn't get it for me! I explained that I had driven a long way. She then said "well you're just going to have to come back tomorrow, because my shoulders hurt and I can't look through the bin to get your package." WHY DO THEY HAVE SUCH RUDE IDIOTS WORKING THERE, GETTING PAID TO SIT ON THEIR BUTTS AND NOT HELP CUSTOMERS?? LAZY!!!!! It's no wonder the USPS is going out of business!!! Worst post office EVER!!! Mindy, if you can't and won't do the job you're paid for, please step down and give the job to someone who actually knows how and is willing to to WORK and doesn't just give lame excuses!!! read more

I am definitely not a fan of the Post office, especially at Christmas time. Lol. The Lehi location has terrible parking and it's impossible to get into it. I came to this location three times in one day and two of the times I couldn't even get into the parking lot and all of the street parking was taken. The third time I came back with my husband, so he could drop me off and park 6 blocks away and wait for me. When I got inside, there were 10 people in line and 4 workers helping customers. When it was finally my turn, Karrie made my day. She talked to me and joked with me and told me that yes, the parking is terrible. We need another post office to help serve the bazillion people out here. read more

The Lehi post office is an embarrassment to our city. The amount of times they mess up in delivering or damaging our packages, stuffing them into the post box rather than putting them on our porch, along with their non-existent customer service to fix it, it so frustrating. If something goes missing or damaged, you get no answers or help. Plus, they never have enough people there to help the amount of customers waiting. It is worth it for me to go to UPS or FedEX and pay more than to work with the post office, I just wish all of my packages and mail came through UPS or FedEX as well. :/ read more

I like to reserve my one star reviews for truly atrocious experiences, so this is my first one. I called the office on Friday because my package was "undeliverable as addressed." Apparently the sender didn't include my apartment number even though I provided it?? Anyway, first of all, if someone is already on the line with them, they just say to call back and hang up on you. This will happen at least a dozen times before you get a real human. Then once I finally got the human, he acted like he was going to help me, put me on hold for 15 minutes, and said he would call me back when he found my package. I asked to have the apartment added to the box and mailed to me. Guess what? That didn't happen. Two days later, I go to the post office because nothing was changing in my tracking information. The lady acted like she didn't give a crap, but she went back to look for it and tried to give me my neighbor's package! Half an hour later, she called to tell me it was sent out today. I'm infuriated. I've been waiting for that package anxiously for almost a month now and they carelessly send it back as I'm desperately trying to NOT have that happen!!! Freaking government. I just went to the Lehi post office to mail a key to someone and the employees were cheerful, kind, and efficient. The line length was reasonable and they were moving people through quickly. The woman who helped me was kind and knowledgeable. They handed me a card at the end inviting me to take a survey, which is a good sign that they are aware they are doing a good job and are wanting to keep it that way. I'll admit it - I hate waiting in lines. And I hate waiting in a long line to do something that I could easily take care of at a kiosk. So for post offices, I ONLY go to locations with an automated postal kiosk. Lehi's Post Office has a kiosk that I can access any time of the day or night to ship off my sold eBay wares. When I'm at the post office during business hours, I can weigh my package, print my stamp, and pay for my transaction faster than a postal employee can, and often the line hasn't budged an inch before I'm back out the door. read more

Two times this month I have had packages come to this post office and instead of being sent out for delivery it has been sent off to another destination and who knows where it ends up. This last time it looked to be early and instead of being sent out for delivery it was sent back to Draper, then price and now it has been siting in salt lake for two days and I am not getting any updates. I understand that there is a lot going on and mistakes are made but twice in a 30 day period is not good. What I worry about is that the more I check into it the more I am hearing this is a common thing with this post office. I just want it to get fixed but it seems that this is just expected and nothing gets fixed. Please find out who this is happening and fix it. This is the second day in a row, USPS LEHI STATION manager, that someone else's mail has been shoved into our mailbox in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Where is my mail? Will I ever get it? (This is not the first time we and our neighbors have complained to you about this). The US Constitution grants Congress the right to establish a postal system, but it does NOT grant that postal system EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS over FIRST CLASS MAIL. Write your Congressional Representative and ask them the END the post office MONOPOLY over First Class Mail. Then private companies can compete with the post office. And then, just maybe, our mail will be delivered to the right address. read more

He kept tell me he was the highest I could talk to. They are refusing to deliver mail for an uncontrollable issue that should be resolved between the postal service and the city. If possible try not to go close to Christmas because it is very busy. We went for passports and fortunately you can make an appointment for that. Passport photos are 15$ here so if you have enough time it is better to get the photo taken at Costco. For payment of the passport they take check or money order. It takes up to 6 weeks to get the passport in the mail. If you want to expedite the passport it is 60$ extra. read more

I am continually sent the wrong mail for a house that is literally a street over. At one point I even received someone's personal belongings from a funeral home that were not mine. I have tried calling their office, and can't get a hold of anyone (which I understand that they may be under staffed, so I can have an open mind about it), left notes on my mailbox helping them know where the right address is, personally delivered mail to the other home, wrote our name on our mailbox, and even circled the street name on the mail to help them out. I've been understanding until I was contacted by the records office that important mail has been returned to sender due to it being sent to the wrong address. I've been waiting for these sensitive and important documents for almost a month and required it by a certain deadline to receive work benefits. I've never had any issues with Amazon or UPS, so It must be the USPS's issue. Now I have to travel over 30 minutes away to get my mail from the source. I wonder how much of my mail has not been reaching me because of pure laziness. Scary to think about. read more
