Have not received any mail for the entire week. My informed mail shows mail each day but it is not making it to my house If someone is subbing the branch supervisor needs to look into this and find out what is going on! This also occurred a couple weeks ago. I think the carrier is picking over mail they don't want to deliver so as to speed through the route. This happened before then when the regular carrier returns i get a bundle. This location has terrible customer service. The employees are often impatient and unhelpful. If you have questions, plan on terse responses. I've seen customers try asking a question only to have the clerks cut them off or just start shaking their heads. Prepare to be treated like a child. read more

this is the worst place ever. I would give the 0 stars if it was possible. this place lost my package. completely lost it. a package that was worth over $500 in contents. I paid an insane amount to ship it and they just lost. I went back to the office TWICE to receive insight and ask if they could check in the back and both times was denied. I can't believe the pure incompetence that has taken place and the being told to "be patient" and "wait a few more days" while my package is just genuinely lost. I am so enraged and upset that this has taken place. I will NEVER be returning here after I go back to file a complaint. I will also NEVER tell anyone to use this post office unless they want to pay a bunch of money for package to get lost. My first experience was getting a package stolen by one of the workers wiping the tracking # and then doing nothing about it when I asked them what happened to it. And today they wouldn't let me drop off my packages with PRE paid shipping labels because they were in the free envelopes. No other post office has even had an issue. The outside box is taped over so you can no longer drop packages off without having to go inside. The workers don't acknowledge you and all the boxes inside to drop mail off into were completely blocked and could not be opened. This post office sucks. read more

Kennesaw, Ga post office Ordered a 50 year old hardback book from halfprice books. It was sent to me via USPS mediamail. Book was in very good condition until the postman folded it in half and wedged in my mailbox! My door is only 30 feet away, probably took more time and effort to ruin the book, than walk the 30 feet and place the package on my doorstep. Worst post office I've ever had experience with. They regularly lose my packages and put them in the wrong place despite my address not changing. It's like the workers can't read. When you call they say they'll get it fixed and it never does. For 2 years I've had to deal with them living in Camden Shiloh and I'm so glad I'm moving so I don't have to deal with them for much longer. I've never had these kind of issues with any post office. Everyone you speak to either doesn't care or is rude. Selena just knows you can't sue the post office and will tell you anything to get you off the phone. Barely does her job. Customer service etiquette is non existent. Carlos is nice, but he doesn't seem to care. Other people I've spoken to there all seem to be confused about their job. And maybe I am, too. They work really hard at this location. Although Bea could have a friendlier attitude, Donna, Lynn and the African American gentleman that work the counter are really nice and very helpful. I wish people would respect the social distancing signs they have up, wear a mask and don't crowd up in the lobby or closer than 6 feet right up on the person in front of you. On Saturdays they close by 12pm unless it's the Christmas holidays, then they stay open a little later throughout the week. read more

I was waited on by Be at the Kennesaw post office. I was sending some large envelopes. I was told it had to be sent overnight priority mail and charged over eight dollars for an envelope. This is blatant fraud and a lie it could've been sent first class normal mail but she insisted that it had to be sent next day priority and have insurance on it and tracking. read more

I've been to several post offices over the years in the area and this is the best one I've ever been to. The customer service is excellent. Sometimes there's a little weight because of coved-19 we understand that and the customer service is still excellent. COVID protocol is strictly followed. Avoid it at all costs. Last year I had a whole fiasco with them because they held a package that was supposed to be delivered to me because the courier couldn't see the suite number. The suite number was printed on the package, was cut off by some sorting stamp they put on it and there's a legend with my name and office number printed on it. I called to confirm, that i'm coming to pick up the package and the employee tells me "Well it's already been processed to go back, it's going out tomorrow." I reiterate that I'm on my way and he tells me they won't give it to me. So I had to go and literally cause a scene to get the package they held. Tried to make a passport appointment. Called sporadicaly for 3 days and no one answered or called back after message. Finally get an appt for today July 18,2017. Get a call at 9am saying that they have to cancel, next available is August 8th. Avoid them. read more

I hate that the new norm is to blame slow, mis delivered, mis scanned and careless mailbox delivery to a pandemic. I was told I should have received 13 pieces of mail four days ago. One has trinkled in. What I did receive was a piece of mail with my four street numbers but not same name or address. How hard is it to know what mailbox and address you are sitting in front of? Because you cannot trace first class mail all I can do is hold my breath I'll receive the tax info sensitive pieces of mail they took no follow through on delivering. Feeling mad and helpless! Guess I need a po box there....can they possibly mis deliver a piece of mail within the same building? Ugh! "For delivery you can count on...choose the United States Postal Service." What a JOKE! I have moved seven times during the last ten years and this is the WORST post office I have ever dealt with. I requested family change of address/mail forwarding one month in advance because of past negative experiences with this office. It has now been nearly two months since my request and do you know how many pieces of forwarded mail we have received? Three! The new tenants at our old house have been kind enough to bundle it up twice now and leave notes to the carrier that we have moved and the mail should be forwarded. I called dozens of times (the line is always busy) before finally getting Ursula, our carrier, on the phone on 5/18 who assured me that she would pick up the bundle of old mail and forward it all that day as well as start forwarding all of the future mail. It has now been two weeks since that conversation and we have not received a single piece of forwarded mail. I finally called the USPS main line (1-800-275-8777) and filed a formal complaint. Supposedly the local postmaster will investigate and respond in a couple of business days. I suggest that the other people who have been having issues file complaints as well. Hopefully if enough people take the time to file complaints some changes will be made there. read more

This location is chaotic, and poorly managed. The employees there are in a bad mood...everyday, but then again they only staff 1-3 people to get through serious lines of customers all day. This location also loses mail! On more than 3 occasions I have sent mail that came back returned for 'wrong address' yet visit the people at their house with the right address. Other times it simply gets lost and unaccounted for. I now go to the location in Acworth even though its out of my way. The employees are really helpful and friendly there. read more

If you want to get mad at overpaid people who could care less about customer service, visit your local Kennesaw Post Office. There is only 2 employees that I have encountered here that were pleasant as most of them get mad at having to do their job. My last visit there was a ling line of people and the employees shutdown and left for the day leaving one person to handle 20 people. Used the USPS Kennesaw Branch to mail 2 packages, 6 inches square by 8 inches tall and marked with ORM-D labels indicating light hazard material(perfume) and large red and white THIS END UP stickers with arrows with clear and precise proper machine printed address labels marked for Ground Parcel Select (can't send this stuff by air) to Brownsville TX and Anaheim CA. These 2 packages were picked up from our box at our residence on July 21, 2020. They were delivered on August 31 to Brownsville and Sept 3 to Anaheim. Do you think 6 weeks is just a bit too long for packages to go across the country??? And they only found the packages and got them delivered after we had filed missing package claims and then refunded the money to our customers and filed a form for refund of postage with USPS.. Odd happenings and I really don't expect any explanation.. In November I'm taking our mail in ballots to the Post Office that has the PO Box on site that they are addressed to..Maybe it will make it to the proper hole on time.. read more

Great service every time I visit there. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. They often have extra staff or supervisors working in the lobby and helping customers. The Postwoman that delivers to our neighborhood (Pinetree), goes above & beyond by walking boxes up to our house instead of leaving them out by the mailbox or in the rain. I visited this location to drop off a package. When I walked in I asked a man working (I believe he was the janitor because he was cleaning) which way I would go to drop off a package. He just took the package from me and said he'd handle it and took it to a back room. I was a little confused about that and wasn't sure where he was putting it. When he came back, I said I actually needed to get a receipt with a tracking number because I was sending something on eBay. He yelled at me saying "well you didn't say that to me did you??" even though I simply asked him to direct me, NOT take it from me. He stormed off to get it and was rude when he gave me the package back. I shouldn't have to be talked to like that by someone because he misunderstood me asking for directions and decided to take it upon himself to handle it. Yeah the service isn't great but that's not my main problem with this post office. They regularly deliver my mail to other addresses and leave packages sitting ON TOP of my mailbox or on the street. Yes, my postal carrier actually drops packages onto the pavement where they could be run over. Packages are marked as "delivered" but never show up. I really hope the USPS just goes away and everybody moves to FedEx/UPS. read more

I go to this post office 3 or 4 times a month, and every single time I do the line is out the door. I feel like I'm at Wal-Mart, because there is room for 7 postal workers, but only 3 counters open. Most of the people there move at a snails pace. Seriously, they will take one package at a time to another area and move like they are waiting in line a six flags. They're smiling - but barely moving! The only reason I give 2 stars is because for some reason all these people are pleasant....honestly, the way they move and take their sweet ass time about everything would give one the impression that they don't give a damn about the customer....and yet they say hello and have a smile for every single person.
