Another customer had already been waiting an hour to get her fingerprints taken (she also had an appointment). No sign on the door. Phone number only rings to the business phone. I finally emailed her and she confirmed that she was closed for the day. Completely wasted my day and now I have to find another company to approve my I-9. I strongly recommend avoiding this business. No excuse for not calling/emailing appointments to let us know the business is closed. Or at least put a sign on your door. ---In response to Nattilee's comment below: The Hospice office which shares the same building says this isn't the first time you've left customer's hanging. I don't believe you when you say you had no way to cancel the appointment on your end. Just because you don't have my information doesn't mean you (as I said earlier) can't hang a sign on your door letting your customer's know you won't be open. You can also have your store number forward to your own cell or home number so that when people call they can find out what's going on. OR you can even change your voicemail message on your business phone to let people know that you won't be open. Making it so that I had to track you down to find out what was going on is unacceptable. Anything you say to the contrary, other than "Your right and I'm sorry, I'll do better next time." is just an excuse on your end for being lazy. As I said in my email to you - I have no idea how you're still in business.

Amador City

Amador City

Amador City has the current distinctions of being the least populated city in California and the…read moresmallest in size. It has a smidge over 200 townsfolk and the total square footage is .3 miles. The old Highway 49 runs through historic main street. The new Highway 49 bypass completed construction in 2006. It actually bypasses the towns of Amador City and Sutter Creek. The intention of this four mile Highway 49 bypass is to divert traffic away from the historic downtowns to relieve traffic congestion and preserve the historic buildings, but not to divert tourism. So don't forget the town is there and drive on in to check it out. Miwok (Me-Wuk) were the indigenous people before the hubbub of gold mining which brought in other townsfolk. One of them was Jose Maria Amador, he found gold in the creek in 1848. He was a Spanish rancher from San Ramon that tried his luck but didn't stay long. He left an impression though to have the town and creek named after him. The miners gold panned along the Amador Creek which runs through the town. What's there to see and do in Amador City?
