I had since moved to another city and assumed there was little chance it would still be there. Amazingly, when I called more than 3 1/2 months later, they had kept my artwork safely stored in a padded portfolio the entire time, hoping I would return for it. Jessica and her team then went even further, getting my new address, scanning the artwork for me, and carefully mailing the original with multiple layers of cardboard to ensure it arrived safely. Their kindness, care, and follow-through were truly above and beyond. I've had repeated frustrating experiences at this Staples location. The staff consistently pressure…read morecustomers to sign up for Easy Rewards, but when you actually earn enough points to redeem them, the attitude changes. During my most recent visit, Nate told me that redeeming my rewards was "basically stealing from them" because the store doesn't receive credit for sales paid with reward points. That comment was both unprofessional and inappropriate. I've also been given what seem to be arbitrary restrictions that either aren't clearly communicated or don't align with the program, such as no price matching when using rewards, only one tech item per day, or only being allowed to redeem rewards Monday through Friday. I've been patient and overlooked these issues for a long time, but this pattern of inconsistent policies and poor customer service has become too much to ignore. Customers shouldn't be discouraged or made to feel guilty for using the rewards they've legitimately earned. I will be reporting my experience to Staples corporate in the hope that these concerns are addressed.
