Sadly, the Hawaiian dress was caught on a large, coral rock from when an eight-foot wave crashed into me, i.e., before putting on my snorkel, mask, and fins which when the dress caught onto the coral rock, the dress unfortunately ripped, snagged, and disappointingly left a gaping hole via the dress' side seam!!!! Fast Forward: December 16, 2022, I visited Rose showing her the Hawaiian dress' ripped and snagged seam. Rose scheduled I pick up my Hawaiian dress on Wednesday, 12/21/2022; however, she didn't sew the ripped seam as promised. Finally, I picked up my Hawaiian dress late this afternoon, 12/23/2022, i.e., paying Rose $5.00 in cash for the dress' seam repaired. BTW: Ooof! I had another brain-fart~I forgot taking a photo of the dress' ripped seam BEFORE Rose repaired the snagged, ripped seam; upon picking up the dress today, I can't tell where the dress was snagged and ripped open!

While doing so, he reached out and deliberately grabbed my bare breast. There was absolutely no reason for him to touch me that way as part of the fitting. This was not an accidental brush or incidental contact. I had to physically move his hand away from my body. I went in expecting a professional fitting and instead left feeling violated and shaken. In my experience, his conduct crossed a serious boundary, and I would never return or recommend him to anyone. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before booking an appointment.

When I came back to try on, they were much better but still not great, as shown in the image. When I went to check out, I noticed a splotch on the shoulder of the dress on the sleeve. VERY small. When I asked her about it, she said it wasn't there before (which tells me that it happened in the shop, which it did). However she did not offer to dry clean it or try to get the stain out. Reasonably priced. I would only come back if I needed a simpler alteration, but not for another bridesmaid's dress. *update* due to my interaction with Alice, who reached out to see how she could make my experience better, I am updating my review from a 3-star to a 4-star. My husband brought in 3 small military rank patches (2 inch squares) to be sewed onto 3 different…read moreitems (cap, coat x2) and this place totally botched it...Patches were not sized right, edges weren't straight, wrong stitching color, stitching uneven, and rank on cap was totally crooked...in addition they charged $86.52 to have it be done in a week. He had to take it to a nearby tailor that same day to fix it and they only charged $36 to reverse their work and do it perfectly THE NEXT DAY. Can't imagine them doing something more complicated than the work we requested...
