Anyway, I wore one of the dresses I bought for one of the several days I went snorkeling at the "Steps." Sadly, the Hawaiian dress was caught on a large, coral rock from when an eight-foot wave crashed into me, i.e., before putting on my snorkel, mask, and fins which when the dress caught onto the coral rock, the dress unfortunately ripped, snagged, and disappointingly left a gaping hole via the dress' side seam!!!! Fast Forward: December 16, 2022, I visited Rose showing her the Hawaiian dress' ripped and snagged seam. Rose scheduled I pick up my Hawaiian dress on Wednesday, 12/21/2022; however, she didn't sew the ripped seam as promised. Finally, I picked up my Hawaiian dress late this afternoon, 12/23/2022, i.e., paying Rose $5.00 in cash for the dress' seam repaired. BTW: Ooof! I had another brain-fart~I forgot taking a photo of the dress' ripped seam BEFORE Rose repaired the snagged, ripped seam; upon picking up the dress today, I can't tell where the dress was snagged and ripped open!

The shoulder straps had been cut to make it a neck strap and nothing had been done to the leg holes.He argued with me about my request. He finally fessed up that he made a mistake. He said it would be ready the next day. When I went in he hadn't started it. I sat there for 35 minutes. He showed me the repair. Very sloppy. White ribbon to reattach shoulder straps to the body of the suit. Not enough length for them to be adjustable because he had cut them shorter. I asked for a refund which he reluctantly gave me. He accused me of not showing him the actual receipt for the purchase price of the suit even though it was a screen shot of my email receipt since I bought it on line and it was the sale price, lucky for him. Johnny Was is expensive! The wife questioned me about it being new so I had to show her on the receipt showing that I bought it in July. Then they accused me of not having already paid for the repair because I didn't have the AMEX receipt. I went looking for the receipt on my phone in the AMEX app. Then they said OK because they had the AMEX receipt. I will never go back. Shady dealings.

When I came back to try on, they were much better but still not great, as shown in the image. When I went to check out, I noticed a splotch on the shoulder of the dress on the sleeve. VERY small. When I asked her about it, she said it wasn't there before (which tells me that it happened in the shop, which it did). However she did not offer to dry clean it or try to get the stain out. She couldn't give me a back dart as the butt pockets would touch, and so I offered to make side darts instead. She ignored me, sighing while pinning. In the end, it was $70, just for taking in the waist - horrible value. I refunded my money and learned how to sew my own clothes just out of spite. (It ended up being pretty easy.) I've never met anyone so arrogant and contemptuous, given I was patient and respectful with her throughout.
