This Main Post Office USPS service is overwhelming and * negatively consistent. I expect far better service from the Hemet Main P.O. on State St. Hemet, CA. Changes must be made to bring your services up to par. USPS's Temps and part-time route delivery drivers both for packages and mail need thorough training and must be held *responsible for adhering to it.

Your elderly Female USPS desk clerk wearing glasses, utterly *Refused to place a Taped Date Stamp on my full envelope of time-sensitive documents. No reason, just "No." This full-of-attitude female then told me to, "Go to the end of the line and wait."(?) Was I in a "time-out" for requesting a regular, reasonable service? Bad attitude employee.
The thoughtful lady clerk USPS Employee standing at the front desk *next to her was "Happy to help"me, as she did. I don't believe 1 postal employee should feel the need to apologize for the disrespectful rude attitude of the clerk standing next to her, but she did. Even the male employee - 3rd desk clerk, seeing this happen, twice said, "What do you need? I can help you over here." Why?
* As of July 2020* Unfortunately for our neighborhood *This Hemet Main P.O. consistently loses or delays our pkgs, often the mail.
It took me 1 week of asking neighbors to find out Where my Passport had been delivered - it was 3 blocks away. The post office insisted I Had received it, which I had not.
Post Office:
It is difficult to attempt getting Refunds & having to call Senders of packages after 2-3 weeks of waiting and more for non-delivered items.
A USPS mail-sorting Center is in San Bernardino, CA.
Packages have waited there 1-3 weeks Before being sent to our local post office. Totally Unacceptable.
Yes, there's more that reduces the 1 star " * "rating Down to Zero Stars: "*Zero STar Rated "
We receive other people's mail And their packages often, our last misdelivery was Maternity clothes for an 8 mo. pregnant woman 3 blocks away.
That pkg was delivered by forcing this large pkg into our mailbox. It was *Not delivered by our regular USPS Mailman, but by a Temp or Fill-In employee.
Pathetic, to have postal customers do Your USPS deliveries.

Our saving grace is Our regular route USPS mail delivery driver: he always places packages by our door, delivers only our mail to us. Never have we had any issues - on the days he works.
He deserves the 5 stars. *****
But. On *his days off: I find misdeliveries in our mailbox: USPS Employees: Please, read addresses before stuffing mailboxes as we are tired of having to *re-deliver Your USPS packages & mail to folks in our zip code!
IF the USPS Federal Post Office Locations ever become privatized, how much worse can this service become?

** I've just read this Hemet Post Office Post from 2014 - 7 years ago & it doesn't seem they have made any improvements since then:
"Needed my mail box replaced, I had followed every instruction they had given me in regards to my mail. I had the option to have my mail held at the post office so I signed up for it. Recently got a new job and of course your first pay is always in the form of a check. I go to pick up my mail and the supervisor tells me that no mail was held, "it's somewhere out in the street" I stated that I paid for the box to be repaired and I signed for my mail to be held at the office a week ago.. I told the supervisor that I needed my check to pay bills and feed my family, he simply said sorry "your mail wasn't held, I can't do anything about it, the carrier has it now." Its a Saturday and now my family won't get to eat or bills won't get paid because of their poor management and lack of protocols to follow by.. Never will I go to that post office again." read more
