This location is in dire need of help. I only come here when I absolutely have to do business on a Saturday because the lines are always long and move too slow. The parking lot is always full. Although the service is decent, they simply never have enough staff on deck. Today, there are 30 people in line. The very purpose of tracking is to provide transparency, yet time and again, packages go unscanned, leaving customers completely in the dark. This lack of accountability is not just careless--it is unacceptable. Every time a package is not scanned, it creates uncertainty and damages trust. I've had multiple packages not delivered, important letters that show up on the app that never make it to my mailbox and bills or other outgoing mail that never makes it to the recipients. I wish I could give a 1/4 star review for this place. My mail carrier complains to me about his supervisors weight and temper. Wont pick up parcels unless you use the schedule a pick up service every time. Constantly breaks my packages on a weekly basis. Hates his job and it shows in his unprofessional-ism and poor service. We have video cameras up around the community mail box to see if anybody vandalizes it...there is most of the time a sign on there stating that it has been vandalized but there is never anyone doing the vandalizing on video. Currently, they are telling us that it has been vandalized. I just saw the mailman drive through the neighborhood and then I got a notification that the package I am waiting for has been delivered. I go to the box and there is nothing there. Usually, when this happens I have to go to the post office the following day and sit in line for sometimes over an hour after working all day long to get mail that could have been delivered by the carrier with my package that literally drove right past my house the day before. Why are we being told that our box has been vandalized when the videos show the only ones opening the back of the box are the postal service and the only ones opening the front of the box are residents???? Postmaster Lily Green has denied our request to have carriers deliver mail to a box in front of our home. For years, we all have been forced to drive down to our post office to wait in long lines for our mail. Several of us have been informed that we were waiting in the wrong line after 45 minutes when it would have been sufficient to put a sign up telling us that the normal place to wait in line has been temporarily closed. We have been told to get P.O. boxes and many seniors and folks with disabilities on fixed incomes cannot afford to do so. We have been told that our mail carrier REFUSES to deliver to mailboxes in front of our homes. We have been told that there will be NO REMEDY to secure the kiosk mailboxes that are broken into repeatedly that take 6-8 weeks to repair only to be broken into again. We have been told that we are NOT ALLOWED to put a combo locking cage around the kiosks to protect them. No one really knows what all has been stolen, and some of us have resorted to informed delivery scans. What we do know is our ballots were stolen and we voted in person instead. This is a small thing to vote in person one time. We fear that given no remedy, no solution, this will continue to happen for the rest of our lives. We are reporting this to county supervisors, local and state officials and the link provided by USPS until something is done to help us with what should be our right as tax-paying Americans to receive our mail like every other tax-paying American!!! read more

I'm sorry I don't have names, but I want to give a positive review to a situation that could have been bad. On Wednesday I came in with an appointment and I had all documents except my marriage license to get a passport. The blonde lady was VERY nice and accommodating. She was off the clock and helped put together my paperwork and left a note for someone that I would be back at 4 on Friday to finish my process. When I arrived today, due to HORRIBLE traffic, I didn't get there until 4:30. The girl who processes passports has braces, and she was just getting ready to shut down for the day. She said she knew I was coming (thanks to the blonde from Wednesday who called her at 2 to remind her) and didn't think I would make it. With 30 minutes left until closing, she was very helpful and did everything with a smile. Thank you so much you two; you really made my day!! read more

This post office is the epitome of governmental waste, incompetence and laziness. They will just do everything in their power to not deliver packages to me. And if they do, they sometimes just throw it over the fence to some other address, admit their mistake, try to retrieve it, write me a lost parcel letter for confirmation, and then fight me on the reimbursement through three appeals. Amazon deliveries on Sunday, he'll no! Reason, there is a gate at my place. Oh, I have no gate. Oh, the parcel locker if full, will hold for pick up. I guess giving a rating for the post office does no good...except letting you vent. This place is HORRIBLE. On a personal level, a drunk-driver took out my mailbox so I asked them to hold my mail. When I went to pick up my mail they said they didn't have any. Umm....in a WEEK I had NO mail? This happened twice. Impossible. Glad when my landlord finally repaired it. On a business level, our business has been sending out letters to homes in specific communities. We keep getting the letters back with yellow labels "Unable to forward," etc. I take the letters to the post office and they don't know why it happened so they said they'd give it directly to the mail carrier. Have done this THREE TIMES now. Today, Igot back MORE of these and now the offer in the letters has expired. Each letter has a stamp so you're talking, at this point, about 90 letters returned and we either have to forget it completely or re-print and re-send each letter. This post office should get 0 stars. You cannot call in your local post office and get ahold of anyone....the message says that they are closed, which I know they are NOT! Our mail carrier constantly screws up our package deliveries. It will say on tracking that it has been delivered and there is NOTHING in our mailbox. If I could leave zero stars I would. This is the only post office in the area that is open on Saturday's. I arrived at 9:15 am they open at 10:00, there were other people already standing by the main door before my arrival. An employee opened the side door to the P.O. Box area, customers were coming and going getting their mail. However, what we ( those of us standing outside by the main door) didn't see was a line forming inside. Someone came out and said there was a second line inside. We voiced our concerns because we were there before that door was unlocked. I was up and working today from 6:30 straight thru to 4:45 when I rushed my boxes to the State St USPS in Hemet. I was beyond tried and worn out. Everyone at the branch was kind and helpful (one employee, was his name Flynn?) helped carry my 9 - 35# boxes insi​de, and Michelle processed my Registered Mail parcels efficiently and with a smile on her face. Our community mailbox was recently fixed. It has been very frustrating having to visit the post office every week to pick up mail, however, Colleen at the supervisor window has been very helpful, communicative and eased our frustration by providing basic updates on what was happening with the new box installation. Without Colleen's excellent customer service and empathy, we would have assumed that USPS had forgotten about us completely. Hemet USPS place is one of the only ones that allows you to do walk in for passport services without an appointment, but they do offer appointments as well. My daughter needed her passport renewed and we needed it expedited. We had all the forms and documents needed so Claudia was able to help us process it very quickly. They accept checks and money orders, but I didn't have a money order, so you can purchase it from them with your debit/credit card and Claudia printed out the money order for you to sign. In fact, she even wrote down her cell phone number for us to call if our passport doesn't arrive after 3 weeks. A week goes by and the passport arrived. I was very impressed with how quick it was and was able to book our tickets the same day. I really appreciate the work Claudia did for us and I really appreciate that they really follow the word "expedite" and mean it. read more

Long lines. Burnt-out workers. Outdated and useless. This is my second time coming here since my sis-in-law moved closer to this side of town and sheesh, can the service get any worse? All I needed were Change-of-Address cards for my sis-in-law and her family. I didn't see any on the racks, so I waited in line. At the counter, I asked the fella for a few and he said, "We don't have none", without further explanation. So does that mean: You are out of stock? The post office stopped printing them? or There's another method for putting in a Change-of-Address??? I asked him to elaborate and he tells me it can be done on line. He failed to mention on-line has a cost associated with it, and he wouldn't have said that had I not inquired. So the choices are to fill out the paper form and it would be free or, get charged a fee for doing it on line??? And since they "don't have none" readily available, I suppose he's hoping it gets done on-line where the postal service can charge for it. Ridiculous. I'll go to my local post office here in LBC where they keep plenty of supplies in the racks, including Change-of-Address packets. This post office in Hemet, off State and Acacia, is suffering from an incurable form of functional obsolescence. This post office is usually very efficient and pretty darn fast at taking care of people. The have machines and multiple people ready to assist at the counter each time I have gone. This particular time I walked in with a package and was immediately noticed by Sandy who was not at the counter but instead ready to help people while they were waiting in line. This is a super friendly post office! I came in on a weekday, approximately lunch time and there were only three people in line. They still sell greeting cards in here, so cool! This place is not big compared to most post offices I have been in. Finding this place on our GPS was a bit difficult to find because the signal reception is terrible here. The parking lot was a bit tricky because the GPS takes you to the back of the building. If you are parking in a gated area you are not in the right one. The front parking lot is a bit cramped but well taken care of. Thank you Postal people for all you do daily! read more
