Horrible . Our postal worker constantly loses my packages and the USPS will not refund me for my lost money . Just last night I got an email that a package was dropped off at 6:30 p.m. at my front door. There is no package. They put it in the wrong lockers and they take it to the wrong house and unfortunately our neighbors keep our items. Get back to basics of Customer Service. I understand that many postal workers are there for the retirement, and from the looks of that branch many of them are close. Some of those, not all, are probably more suited to work in the back, away from the customers. I'm sure management knows who they are. The clerk who helped me (99) was friendly, helpful, explained my options, went over pricing, and apologized for leaving the counter while I was waiting next-in-line. There were actually 4 clerks at the counters, 2 were helping customers, after I got in line, 3 went to the back, didn't even acknowledge my presence. That's bad customer service, but if they're just in it for the retirement, they don't care, and it shows. read more

I never leave reviews. Ever. This is the exception. If I could leave a less-than-one star review I would. The absolute worst customer service I've ever had the displeasure of receiving, and I use the term "receiving" extremely loosely as I did not receive any. At all. I called 53 times from the hours of 0900 to 1031 and not a single time did anyone answer. Dialed 1 for Delivery, dialed 2 for Passports, dialed 3 for other zip codes, Dialed 0 for the operator....and nothing. How on earth is this even possible? Worst post office ever! The laziest and slowest group of incompetent employees around. Walmart employees are more motivated than these people. Every time I go there, there's a long line and one person behind the counter taking their sweet time and carrying on irrelevant conversation with other employees standing behind the counter not helping customers. There is this one female in particular who is literally the rudest of them all. A little old lady walked up and attempted to ask a question and this employee, while filling out "paperwork", pointed at the line and told her to go stand in it. Everytime we have a different Postal carrier, On Dunston St. My mail always seems to get lost. I was expecting a package Saturday the 10th of Dec. But I never received it, Even though the status states it was delivered to the community mail box. So I guess it was put into another persons mailbox but NOT in my box. So I have no package. And who ever got it has not been honest enough to give it back to the Postal carrier or the post office. I am out a Christmas present for my daughter due to the negligence of the Postal carrier. This post office is the worst. It says that my package got delivered in my mailbox and no package was there. I filed a report online and they called me back saying that my package was there and when they confirmed the address it wasn't even mine Filed it again to tell them to look for it and no call back. When I tried calling back nobody answers. As I'm reading the reviews it seems like nobody in this post office gives a shit about people's mail/packages cause it seems to get delivered at the wrong address all the time. I had a very expensive iPhone that was supposed to be delivered today, it was delivered to the wrong mail box. We received someone else's packages so my husband had to go to that person's house to see if they got our package by mistake, they did. I get text updates on my deliveries, I received one saying my iPhone had been delivered and signed for by me, which is a total lie. Not only did the package get delivered to the wrong person but it was not signed for. I will be making a formal complaint. We have had ongoing issues with our mail carrier for some time. read more

i would have to agree with the other reviewers, i mean the parking lot it not great but I'm sure its been there a long time, maybe it wasn't so busy back in the day??? lol Now service could be better, i have scheduled pickups on two or 3 occasions and no one shows up, or they show up a day or two later and then get angry with me because i have already dropped off the package. Sorry but if i schedule a pick up for monday please pick it up on monday not wednesday. They rarely answer the phone but hey maybe they are backed up?? This place definately needs help! I have a P.O. box here. I am constantly not getting important mail like utility bills, DMV Renewal (3 different cars) etc.. I then get the delinquent notice with huge fines. I am also constantly getting other peoples mail. Supervisors are no help and never follow through with what they say. It's always packed! The parking is frustrating and you should expect to stand in line. They usually only have two people at the front, I think they need to make the location bigger. The service is on and off. Sometimes I get someone really nice and helpful and another time I'll get someone who is dismissing me before I get to the counter. My wife and I live in a senior community housing location in Beaumont, CA. We took a month long vacation trip in October 2022 and we submitted a hold on our USPS mail while we were gone. We returned on Oct 28th. A couple of days later, we received a stack of our mail that was on hold at the Post Office. We started receiving mail from businesses notifying us that we had missed payments for the month of October, and that they were charging us late payment fees, etc. We checked with our bank and discovered that they had submitted the payments 7-10 days ahead of when they would be due. Well, apparently the checks had not been received yet. We check our mail every day except on the weekends. Today, we checked our mailbox was full with a key to the oversize box. In the oversize box we discovered 2 additional stacks of new mail, 2 packages, plus 2 prescriptions. We discovered our Election Packages to Vote and Submit via mail, and other important mail that we had been waiting for which we were wondering why we never received them. We had to vote by going to the voting locations because we never received them in the mail, we had to call several companies trying to figure out what happened with our payments including our bank. All in all, this was all due to the fact that the USPS messed up and cost us money, time, and a lot headaches all because we didn't get our mail at a reasonable date and time. We were not very happy with how they handled their job. We won't be using them if we don't have too in the near future. read more

My mail was delivered to the wrong address on Friday and USPS app said item was delivered and in my mailbox. I spoke to supervisor Jose about this. He stated my item was delivered, but would investigate. Still haven't heard back. My neighbor one block up finally came by recently and dropped the package off. I was forced to purchase a PO Box since I was regularly not receiving my mail in Cherry Valley. Now that I pay for this service it is not much better and the staff at the Beaumont Post Office seems to be the reason, they just do not care. In addition to not receiving bills sent out by the utilities, the government, and credit card companies, I have also received mail for other people in my PO Box. I have twice received mail for someone in the state of Washington. When I got home with my mail and noticed the Washington address "I wrote not at this address, wrong state" on the mail only to have it put back in my PO box the next day. Most of the staff that interact with the public are great, except for Kenny, the other male employee who states he is a supervisor but not the post master, and the Post Master Glatis Grimaldo. All three of these employees need to learn to communicate with the public and understand the shortcomings of the Beaumont Post Office. It would be nice if they actually listened to customer complaints and made an attempt to correct these items at the Beaumont Post Office. I am also extremely tired of the excuses when I pay extra for Certified mail and then it is not received. This has happened twice and all the way up to Glatis the response was I should continue to wait for the item to be delivered. What I left out was I had waited 1 month and 1 day before voicing my complaint the last time the Beaumont Post Office did not deliver the mail. Both times I had to pay a second time to have the mail delivered, either time Glatis would not issue a refund and made it sound like paying a second time was my choice If you have a choice, do business at a different post office or one of the private mail companies around town. Had a vacation coming up so I ordered an item off Amazon specifically for this vacation. Not only that, I paid extra money for early shipping. On the day that it was scheduled to arrive, "NOTHING!" When i went to the post office to inquire about my package, they had no idea where it was! REALLY? To top it off, while waiting at the counter, another customer had the exact same problem! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE...Muslim lady employee is very unprofessional and impolite like most of them. I received an email showing my package is ready for pick up at office showing tracking# etc. I come up to the counter and asked to pick up package. The first thing that came out of her mouth was, we don't hold packages for people. She never asked for my tracking # or my info. She try to turn me away and tried to help the person behind me. Until I showed her the email showing its there. She rolled her eyes like I'm making her work. Than she says," we only hold packages upon request". I told her, I never requested that. I've been in there a few times with a pickup for which they cannot find. There are 2 gals that work there that are really nice and I'd give them more stars for trying to make it better. went here to drop off a package. I'm quite familiar with the process. I take the books they scan it and i'm done. There are so many things wrong with this post office. 1. They couldn't read the address even though there was no problem what so ever. 2. they were going to charge me for a free envelope. I try to avoid this post office at all costs! I didn't receive my package although it said "delivered". I called the main number to file a claim. The Supervisor from the Beaumont Post Office did call me back 2 days later and left a message only, he didn't leave a return phone number for me to call him back. I Googled the number and have been calling for 2 days now and only get a busy signal. I realize that it's a very busy time of year...but, this is ridiculous that you can't get through! I wish I did not have to give this post office a star at all. The other day I went in to send a box to Mexico. On previous occasions at other post offices I have sent boxes to Mexico using express mail and it would always get there in 1-3 business days. I wanted to do the same here but the lady told me it would take 6-10 days I told her why it would take so long if all the other times I have sent boxes it always gets there in 1-3 business day using the same delivery method. She said I had to get global express or something and fill out extra paperwork. I told her I never had to do that before and demanded an explanation as to why I had to do it now. She just kept saying that I had to do all that and that I should have done it those times I sent the boxes in the other post offices or else my boxes would have been rejected and sent back to me. After that going back and forth for a while she said "that is what you have to do, and of you want to do it you need to go to another post office because this is too much work for me and I am the only one here today" I was completely disgusted she would tell me that, and I told her off and told her that she did not want to help me and was basically kicking me out. That was the worst service I have ever had to go through and really hope that lady gets a reality check and gets a job where she is actually willing to help the customers no matter if she is the only worker there or not. I have lived in Beaumont for more than 60 years. I might be one of the few who remember Mr. Kieselhorst!! Those were the days when everything in Beaumont was like going to the corner store. Less than 6,000 people (including Cherry Valley) and we were nice to one another. Those of us who have been here that long cringe at the increase to a population in excess of 30,000 with not much change other than growth and the decay of our infrastructure and lifestyle. One constant issue for me is the post office on Beaumont Avenue with the same seven slots it has had since it moved from the spot between 6th and 7th streets to where it is now. The service level and home-town feel has all but disappeared. That is, until today. I had a certified letter than I am never home to receive and the hours on Saturdays have diminished so I usually have to wait until early the following week. Sometimes these letters are stressful because you don't know who they are from or why. Today I pulled up at 2:45 because I thought Saturday hours were until 3:00. In addition, you used to be able to push that button to the left of the hatch door and they would come to see if they could help. I understand from one of the not-very-nice counter people that this buzzer no longer works. My suggestion would be to take it off the wall. Anyway, the nice middle-aged lady with blond hair and glasses (she is ALWAYS nice) came out to empty the roadside box. I asked if there was anyway I could pick up my letter. She asked me to wait ten minutes and then assisted me at that half-door and let me have the letter. As an aside, in addition to her level and service and very friendly demeanor, not only did I get my letter but I had no need to stress!! Thank you and I wish I had gotten your name!! read more

I've dropped off TWO envelopes (both bills) in the drop at separate times (a couple of weeks apart). Both bills never got to where they were suppose to go. And I've never seen a Post Office completely lock up the PO Box vestibules at various times of day. Ridiculous. read more

This post office needs to train their letter carriers how to read an address. I receive the wrong mail almost daily in my box. I live in a gated community so the mail is put in mail boxes. I get mail for my next door neighbor, the people across the street and for the people around the corner on a different street but with the same house number. Makes me wonder how much of my mail goes missing. read more
