This was the first time in a very long time I've been to a laundromat and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, high quality commercial equipment and the employees who helped get a newbie started. Got all my laundry washed, dried in folded in less than two hours...amazing! Only mistake I made was not noticing that each of the larger washers could hold up to four baskets of laundry. Same goes for the dryers. They even have bigger washers and dryers, too! Very impressive and nice to know I've got a solid local laundry backup in MoVal.

Sparkle Clean Laundromat -- the name is doing a lot of heavy lifting here…read more Let me start with the positives, because there are some. The machines actually work, my clothes came out hot, clean, and neatly packed, and the dryers do their job. That alone earns some points because we've all been to laundromats where your clothes come out damp and smelling like disappointment. Now... the rest. The place looks decent from far away, but once you're inside, the details start telling a different story. It's dirty, especially around the edges, corners, and folding areas. The sink -- which you'd expect to work in a laundromat of all places -- does not work. Just there for decoration, I guess. A real "look but don't touch" situation. The vibe is also... intense. There were a lot of homeless people hanging around, which made it uncomfortable to relax or focus on folding. I'm not here to judge anyone, but when you're just trying to do laundry, it shouldn't feel like you're on high alert the entire time. The machines themselves are fine, but the overall cleanliness and atmosphere really take away from the experience. It's one of those places where you're counting down the minutes until your laundry is done so you can leave. Bottom line: If you're desperate, need your clothes washed and dried fast and hot, and don't care about comfort, cleanliness, or vibes -- this place will get the job done. If you're looking for a clean, calm, pleasant laundromat experience... this probably isn't it. Would I come back? Only if my washer at home breaks and I have no other options.
