Your local post office does not have the authority on its own to replace the boxes, and now with the shut down it's not going to happen. Right now, you can all start calling and mailing letters to the postmaster general of the USPS. read more

They haven't delivered mail to our neighborhood box in months. Say it's broken. It maybe broken but what exactly is reasonable time to fix it. The postage on the mail is paid for from it's origin to my box or address. Not the post office. If I wanted go to the office everyday I would get a box there. What's broken is the USPS it's self. If vandalism is the problem put lights, cameras and sirens on them. Prosecut the CS's. Get better boxes that they can't possibly get in or damage it enough to make unusable. This is ridiculous. the filipino/hispanic lady named SANJUANA on the passport line is rude, (3/5/2025) 1430 - 1530 is the walk in times for passport. i was in line at 1435, but the employee said that she's not taking anymore people. there only 3 other people there, please do your JOB, or QUIT AND GIVE YOUR JOB TO SOMEONE MORE CAPABLE, it's crazy that you're a federal employee with that kind of attitude, just plain lazy! i guess it's because you still get paid the same whether you put an effort into actually working or not. read more

There has been ongoing disruptive mail delivery for weeks due to key problems with the group mailbox (10 slots in one main box) for residence who live on Drummer Circle in the American Village 55+ community in San Jacinto, Ca. The mailbox in question is actually located at the end of Van Burin St. I am disabled and use a walker and have had to go to the post office to try and get mail and numerous trips to the mailbox itself where I've found no mail delivered. The post office worker hands me a few pieces of junk mail that she states is all the mail they have set aside for my address for over one weeks time. I know they are losing or not gathering all my mail but they insist otherwise. I have had paychecks mailed and sent back to sender that were absolutely perfectly written and should have been delivered. Unfortunately no one can give me any concrete date as to when this misery and inconvenience will end only the same lame excuses. After all, what does it take to key a stupid key made. I need someone with authority and a sense of righteousness to step in and get this fixed now not only for me but for my neighbors who have also been affected. read more

I was picking up my mail from 3 days ago since the mailboxes for our community were breached having us to go to this office to pick up our mail everyday. This lazy postal worker, her name is Nohely, who gets paid by my tax dollar seems to be so privileged and is selective of who she intends to provide service to... her attitude and demeanor is not suited for any service oriented work. Absolutely awful. Been going around with them for now 3 weeks due to the fact they claimed a package was left in a parcel locker when it never has. Dealing with them in person, the lady I spoke too was completely rude. Said my packages would be redelivered but only if she can find somebody since the driver for my route was done. Which is no excuse. Out of 3 packages, only 1 was redelivered. And the ones they never delivered were my sons bday gifts. This office needs to take lessons from Hemet in customer service. The San Jacinto post office is a really nice branch. The people who work here are polite. It has a large parking lot, so there is always parking available. The only thing I can't stand are the speed bumps in the parking lot. I assume people go too fast but dang, how many tall speed bumps does it need? read more

Passports are walk in ONLY. fine, I'll just do a walk in right? NO! I went during the open walk in hours on Wednesday. They had a sign saying to come back tomorrow. Okay come back Thursday and it says closed and will be open MONDAY!! WOW again!? Came Monday, had to park across the street in the MUD! I always have great experiences here. The girls who work here are very informative , helpful, attentive, and courteous (especially Amber)! Rarely ever, do you have longer than a few minutes to wait to check out (even if the line is super long). The prices are decent, and it's always well cleaned and organized. read more

USPS is the best way to ship. I have so many problems with UPS and Fedex every single time! USPS never fails me! This location in particular is great because the parking lot is easy to get in and out of, the location is close to everything, and the staff is fast and efficient! The employees move quickly which is great because this location is usually pretty busy. The lines look long, but move very fast. They are usually friendly and helpful as well! I more than likely will be changing my PO box from this location after 6 years. They have a bad habit of not putting packages in the lockers in addition to giving limited time to pick up my packages. I have had my packages sent back to the sender a few times. I understand that we are in a pandemic and there are elimited hours and staff, but since I am a PO box owner, I do not feel I should have to wait in the long line when the sign on the will call door clearly stated that to go to the front desk. After being ignored for over 5 minutes, the blonde hair and pink streaked lady told me to go wait in the long line. There should have been a sign or she should have told me. Very poor customer service. I will not have to return another time at the risk of my package being sent back. I called the phone number and no one responded initially, but the postmaster finally answered and addressed the issue. Most of the time there's a line for assistance. But they move fairly quickly. The one thing that really bothers me is now they lock up access to post boxes at 6pm whereas before it was open 24/7. I understand this is due to vandalism but seems to me there must be a better way to handle this so that it doesn't inconvenience the rest of us. IMHO. read more

Wow.... it says online-on the USPS official site no less--that you can pick up a package at the post office if it arrived later than when the driver left to make deliveries. Mine arrived slightly after-meaning it was already processed and showing up via tracking. The male brunette caucasian worker behind the counter said he couldn't even check it because they were so short staffed. okay-that's understandable. BUT-- while the younger ladies were hustling and getting customers out quick, he was sitting there chitchatting with the older lady that worked there. Maybe more could get done and people could get the help they need if you're not sitting at the front counter BSing with other staff members. It's unprofessional and holds up the already huge line. This post office is SO much better than the Hemet location. I get in and out very fast. I often have to send letters certified and everything here is in the same place every time. What drives me nuts is when there is a line and I wait, they feel the need to make me step to the side to fill out my certified receipt. A receipt which is only for my records and they do not keep. This is pointless and frustrating when I am in a hurry. read more

I came here to get my passport done and the representative in charge of this was incredibly rude. Customer service skill was 0 to non-existence. You know something is wrong when you feel compelled to write a Yelp review for your local post office. Well, in their case, they can't be trusted with mail! They've lost two of my packages on two separate occasions. This location is nice and clean and the desk help is nice and friendly. The Post Master at this location is a very rude person to deal with and their home delivery staff stinks. As long as the delivery drivers don't have to get out of their trucks they are ok, but if they have to get out of the truck to deliver a package or certified letter they don't get out and bring it to the door. I have had several items that I get delivered by certified signed receipt at time and they never come to the door they always just put the slip in the mail box. I have to call and have them delivered again and I have to call and complain every time they do this they also will put items in the box that are way too big to be put in the mail box, eg. I have my medication delivered by mail and they don't fit in the box from the back but you cannot take them out from the front. They have had to send out a driver our someone else to come open the box from the back to take them out again. I finally had enough and talked to the Post Master on behalf of the neighborhood because we all have been having the problem. He was very rude with his attitude and was defending his drivers saying they wouldn't do that and that we were wrong, even though there were over 8 neighbors that wrote him a letter telling him the problems. That same day that I got my slip for my letter I called and told him the problem again and he did the same again with the attitude that I was wrong again this time I had video of the driver doing it and he still tried to say I was wrong. We have asked him to come out and see the problems that we are having, but he said he did not need to because they are good carriers and no need to. read more

It's 4:45 pm and I called the office and it automatically takes me to a prerecorded message saying that they are now closed and it gives me the business hours that say they are open until 5. Clearly it is not 5 yet. I was also calling because I went in today because I had a change of address since October and had all my mail forwarded to my new home address but some mail coincidently billing statements and a check that I have been expecting since January are all getting returned. I'm so upset. Anyways so I go in today and there's a line out the door with only one person behind the counter. I had no time so I had to leave. My mail was stolen out of the blue postal boxes by a bunch of thugs. They stole my bills, washed the checks and rewrote them to themselves. Totally drained my bank account. San Jacinto post office told us to never use the postal boxes because they are unsafe. They said mail gets stolen all the time and there is nothing they can do about it. I ask why they cannot warn the public the boxes are unsafe? They just can't. They admit the facility is unsafe and unsecured, but they said the public wants the access and the boxes. I am willing to bet if people knew the boxes were unsafe, they would not want them. read more

This post office is horrible when it comes to delivering packages! They will not attempt a delivery if someone here has a package. If it fits in the main mailbox fine, but if not, they will not come to the house to try to deliver it. Some nonsense about it being a drop location only! And they won't re attempt a delivery. Most times the package never leaves the post office and they will just put the orange slip in the box. They don't care if you are disabled or not and cannot get to the post office, they are just way too lazy to take 5 minutes to make sure we get a package or to sign for something. I would rather use UPS for delivery! At least I get better service from them! read more
